I think you're both right concerning the Ysalamiri, as by eating whatever they eat, that means they have consumed it (duh), and because of this 'special material' being in them, it means when their bodies break it down and absorb it, they effectively create the non-force bubble.

I don't remember any mention of Yisalamiri gaining their force-null bubble as a result of what they ate, and neither does CUSWE.
Ysalamir

Category: Creatures
Type: Mammals
Planet of Origin: Myrkr

this was the name given to one of the slender, grey-furred creatures, native to the planet Myrkr, that naturally created null-bubbles in the Force. The bubble created by an individual ysalamir could extend up to 10 meters in diameter, and a group of ysalaimir could generate a much larger bubble. Early in their lifecycle, ysalamiri would use their long claws to attach their bodies to tree limbs and obtain nourishment from the wood. As a sessile creature, the ysalamir soon died after being separated from their perch. Ysalamiri could reach lengths up to 50 centimeters, and have fur-covered scales.

Found it. I wouldn't call it a fact though.

Building on the work of the demented researcher Jenna Zan Arbor, the scientists were able to study the trapped spirits endlessly, harnessing the energy field they created, and testing it. Its power was incredible. No energy source could rival it. A curiosity they did notice was the relation between the field and the incredibly durable Mandalorian iron: they found that the metal could not be affected by the Force energy field, this effect peculiar only to iron from Mandalore and not "normal" iron. The scientists mistakenly believed then that this odd iron could actually suppress the Force energy field. This proved untrue, though the metal did make for effective Jedi containment devices, as seen with Imperial Dungeon ships and Mandalorian handcuffs. However, it is suspected that the ysalamiri of Myrkr, creatures known for their ability to dampen the Force, could owe their unique gift to their ability to process the great quantities of Mandalorian iron to be found in the trees that serve as both home and nutrition for the creatures. It is suspected that the trees were transplanted at some point from Mandalore.

More a possibility based on scientific theory... But what was looking that up proving, anyway? I forget... Heh. :glance

Not fact.

Since Nihilus has been on stasis on Malachor V for thousands of years, his body and essence would be altered dramatically by the dark side without Sith Alchemy. Like Storm Beast on Malachor V, giving them Force Scream and it was originally a normal lizard people. The dark side can do anything and depends on the amount of time and probably how much influence does the dark side has on the living. I am going to think of things that would be helpful for him but won't gained any powers except for like slowly down his hunger with the dark side or broaden his unique sense? I might need some help from the staff to make it fair and not be uber.
