First of all, let's stop this thread from devolving any further. Drayson, if you had issues about anything I'd hoped I'd made it clear that you could talk to me about it. Instead you insulted me in a public forum, which caused me to react in a less than favorable way. I didn't simply claim "I win, you lose, deal with it" as you say. I've talked to Omnae about this for a while now, and as he said, I was well aware that the thread wasn't over and I had no plans of "ignoring" you. But in reality, I have ignored you in many ways because our posts travel separate paths which largely don't have to do with each other. This isn't a fleet engagement where two opposing forces battle it out until one side loses or retreats. This is different.
That being said, yes I have had issues with the thread but I've worked with everything you've written. The only thing I asked was that you edit a small part of your first post that you couldn't possibly know IC. But Beff does bring up good points, there aren't rules to dictate these types of situations. And Drayson, you clearly got upset when Dolash interrupted your threads, so I don't understand why you'd think the Alliance being what... 1/20th of the size of TNO would feel the same way? It's not that I don't believe you have the right to interfere, of course you do. But come on... nobody goes afte Rendili in the several year history of TRF and all of a sudden in your first post you indicate that you make regular visits to the planet? Anybody can retcon a history with a planet, but I never saw any such mention of that IC prior to your post in the Rendili thread.
Drayson, I'm not trying to paint TNO as bad guys or anything like that. But this whole... "if we were really jerks we'd interfere with all the Alliance's takeovers" thing is bullshit. Of course we know TNO is bigger, EVERYONE knows TNO is bigger. And of course I know TNO could interfere with every single takeover if they wanted to by deploying fleets to whatever planet we were taking over. But that's not realistic. Now, if we were going to takeover a planet right next door to Coruscant, then of course we're gonna get our asses kicked.
This whole, the Empire runs everything is not only getting old but it's not realistic. The Empire does not know all, bottom line. Yes, you're by far the biggest group at TRF but you're not the Empire from the Original Trilogy. You control what... 200 planets? How many did the original Empire control? You don't by default control all those planets unless you've actually put the work in.
If all you want is to be a power mongering jerk, then great. Maybe some day you can run all the other groups off TRF and just sit there and look at your imaginary planets you've collected. I've tried to communicate with you when you entered the Rendili thread but you blatantly ignored me. Yes, I know it was the holiday yada yada yada. You could have taken 2 seconds to reply to my PM after reading it saying, hey I'm busy I'll get to it when I can. And that would have been enough. But please don't come here talking about respect and these other things when YOU are the one who doesn't want to communicate or cooperate.
If you want to get involved in some Rebel Vs. Empire threads, great. I'm all for it. I've talked to Wes and Telan about it numerous times. We'll even let you beat the shit out of us (sometimes). I think what you might not understand is that we want nothing more than to work with TNO. But I hope you understand that you're making that very difficult. I don't know, maybe you look at this as far more competitive than I do, but for the life of me I don't. Because there are no rules for "winning" or "losing". There are currently rules in place that are very vague and open to interpretation or inevitable arguing.
