I'm tired of this "Let's bring in a million sets of reinforcements" @#%$.
After these threads are over -- if not sooner -- there will be none of it. You'll get one set if you mention it beforehand, and that's it. Then you've just got to suck it up, be a real man, and actually play the @#%$ game.
Yes, Jan. Point blank range. You brought your entire second force into the system and into firing range in one post. You set the bloody range, and I acted on them.

Call off your reinforcements, and I'll call of mine. Jan, there is no rule against bringing in reinforcements. Bringing in multiple reinforcements (like you are now) is a shadowy area.
I'm fully entitled to reinforce my position by bringing in more forces, and no ammount of whining on your part will stop that.
I never said there was a rule against it, I was just trying to promote good roleplaying for giving a reason why you would bring in reinforcements, sicne you were obviously winning.
I never said point blank range. Face it, thanks to my missile defence system, my ISD is completely intact, with shields at 75%. I'll reply soon.
No, Jan. But I did. And you know what? You brought your fleet into firing range in one post and caused damage, which is BS.
And you never posted slowing down. Your antimissile defence is not infalliable, and unless you can explain how it managed to track hundreds of different missiles at once and destroy 80% of them, all in less than one second, the ship is damaged.
The thread is on hold, because there are still unresolved OOC issues. You cannot simply "decide" that your ships are undamaged when all the evidence is against you - TRF doesn't work that way.
1. You told me to play the game, so I did, and posted.
2.You agreed to the damage on the Defenders.
3.You mentioned them(two ISDs hit by ground fire) inoperable in combat operations. Engines and hyperdrives aren't combat operations. All my energy on those two damage ISD are going to engines and hyperdrive. They have no active guns, and no shields. Just engine, communications and life support.
4.You can't just make up reasons why my Elite Anti-missile system failed. Point-blank range isn't one of them, since I was using close range calculations. I will be reasonable(overly reasonable in my eyes, but oh well) and say particle shields are down, minor damage to hull, ray shields still good.
I said that your ISDs were rendered inoperable. Simply put, they are little more than floating hulks of crap. Not that it matters, since they're not both destroyed.
And Jan, when you can tell me how any computer can detect, lock onto, track, and fire on, a missile in the 0.8 seconds it took to get from the launch tube to your ship, I'll listen.

But since i'm nice I'll let it go, though I did revise your damages, since you never actually powered up your Advanced Turbolasers the second time. 2.You couldn't even fire surface guns in your last post, nowhere did I see them powering up. 3. Due to the fact that your surface guns hadn't powered up, I'll revise damages. 4.Also, you took an ISD with no damage down to severe damage in one post, while firing on another ISD with slight damage. Not allowed.

I get to post again because it's been 72 hours since my last IC post, and no arguments were raised around that post. You are right about the turbolasers (though I could have sworn they were charged, my bad, anyway). But, I submit that it really doesn't matter for two reasons: a) you didn't contest the damages until after the fact, and b) I can easily switch the surface gun firing to my most recent post, effectively doing the same ammount of damage.
Your next two points are the same thing, so...

No, I actually didn't. It was subjected to a missile volley that your defences were physically unable to stop. Once your able to explain how your guns managed to detect, track, and fire on, several hundred different missiles in 0.8 seconds, then you can claim "no damage". So far, all you've done is run around screaming "Screw physics, screw realism, my R&D says this and that's the way it is!"
No I didn't for the last bit about the missile. I went so far as to say that my missile defence system was basicly useless in that context and said that that ISD had no particle shields and slight hull damage, ray shields at full, then add damage onto it for your post.
The OTHER ISD in that group went from no damage to severe damage in one post. I edited that one down.
And since I had 5 Defenders covering the rear of the ISDs, you wouldn't have been able to dodge them all.
So, once you agree to the revised damages, I'll post.
