There's no way to pilot the ship now without knowing the codes for each individual vital system-codes which died with the men you gassed.

You don't need a code to pilot a ship. Then all TNO needs to do is kill your pilot and you wouldn't be able to fly your own ships.

All the damaged access codes and system codes do is slow a takeover down. It doesn't really prevent anything.

However, the amount of internal damage to the systems would determine whether the ship could make a jump or not.

But as I see it you cannot say the ship is too big to control and then say that it's not too big for the damages. If its just way too big to control, then the damages would be spread against too great an area to really affect the warship main systems.

At least that's my thinking.

In any event, the damages to the Viscounts are what needs to be decided. You are the one's that keep saying the staff is biased and so want an unbiased opinion. So don't go yelling at us for a decision since you set the terms of who will decide.

Yell at Kas. lol.. (poor guy)

In any event, to comply with your wish of having an unbiased staff member look into this, Damalis will looking into it.

(Vonta's thing is for the Yunos though. No the Viscounts since he isn't on those correct?)

But to be fair we will have Damalis look at the Viscount posts.

Given Christmas she will probably begin delving into this Sunday.

Now for the Intruders:

that does not mean that they SUCK. They are warships, they are well-trained, and they are shooting down a dangerous course which provides them considerable cover

also would prevent them from firing back.

But, as far as I read, Karlos did not say your ships sucked, only that while they were firing at something else, they were being hit.

Unless you are saying that they would stop shooting at the yard to fight the Shrouds...Then whatever damages the yard would have would be lessened.

Besides, some of your intruders were damaged before they cloaked which might not affect their guns or whatnot but it might make them a tad visible.

In any event, I recheck the damages for you. and if it is excessive, ok.

Question: Your ships are flying intp the yard? speed of your ships?
Ton Karlos: Your ships were reloading in the same yard or different?

To be fair, I do not think that all the Shrouds would have been able to reload, launch and shoot that quickly... unless you are saying that they are reloading in the same yard the intruders are in, at which point they would be facing each other yes?

Well, Kaine always succeeds of making sense out of a situation.

I guess I concede on the point about the viscounts. Go ahead, take them, I'm sure you've reached the 1,500 word minimum by now. You guys are very cunning, becuase no ships on your side are big enough to be worth such a large battle (IC and OOC) to take down from within.

Anyways, I still maintain the Shrouds would not have killed that many stealths. They were not firing on the Shrouds because they were doing evasive maneauvers down the shipyard bays at the fastest speed they could manage, and I did not fire because I decided we'd be going so fast and in such a difficult course it would be IMPOSSIBLE for each side to hit each other at all.

Actually, I am wincing at the amount of misspellings in my post. I'm surprised it made any sense at all.

You may be onto something there Dolash, regarding the intruders. But what is the top speed (MGLT) of your intruders (out of curiousity)?

That's not my department, but I'll find the figure and return with it as soon as I can get my hands on it.

Whether the Shrouds reloaded or not is irrevelent - they fired on the Intruders using only turbolasers.

They started firing as soon as your Intruders overflew them, and caused some damage. Then, as your ships flew "into" the yards, they shot into the sterns of your ships. Damaged as they were, and with fire striking their engines, I'm sure the damages are reasonable.

*shrug*

As for the Viscounts... TNO dealt the damage to the bridges, and then retracted it. As for Lup's use of Thermal Detonators, it's irrelevent. His ship is not the one going to lightspeed.

And I highly doubt slagging all of the blast doors would effect the hyperdrives in any way...

Retracted it?

Anyways I already said I conceded that point.

But come on, you can give me the stealth intruder point at least, please?

Dolash, stop trying to play the "We're loosing, cut us some slack" bit. You've been doing it for months, and it's getting just a little bit old.

If you can provide some stunning logic as to why the damages are over the top, then go ahead.

"Why the flying Firking @#$! is this so important?"

Excellent, we finally induced Dolash to the point of swearing.

His corruption is nearly complete, soon he will be one of us... :p

I did, the cover. That, I think, is plenty. And it is a point that is very difficult to argue. How much cover could be porvided? How hard would it be to do? These are very difficult to set unless you've been in such a situation.

I say that if you can't agree then we ask the staff.

Maybe you should reread the post then, Dolash. Your ships flew over the Shrouds to attack the shipyards. The Shrouds fired on your vessels before they reached cover, and that's where the damages come from.
