Assuming the Druids aren't some crazy super powerful ship (I'll say a probably safe assumption as you have been around for a while and know what you're doing) feel free to use them in the Cren Alliance thread. Also, feel free to continue posting up till the point when you arrive in system. Once you do that I'll get around to posting my little thing. Yes, you're attack has motivated Jan to come back to RPing (well, not including the post I have been working on for a while for Coalition's Light, but when that is up, you'll realize how slow I've been working for the amount of words that are up there, for your thread I'll try to write faster).
EDIT: And what Omnae said about why its "a problem" you didn't do the RP. This time I'll let the Druid pass (before you even mention it in the thread, I think) cause I'm a nice guy (and frankly can't be bothered to OOCly argue about it with you). Next time I might be more annoying. And for the Generis thread, whoever replies to that can deal with Wes' TIEs as they see fit, I'm not setting a standard here. Simply being lazy :).
Om, the precident was already made in the begining of the GC/BDE war where a few ships had not been put through their 500 word R&D RP's were allowed to be included in the attacks as said RP, but in limited quantity (IE: One or two).
Well following that precedent Wes would be allowed 1 or 2 of his TIEs, unless the GC responder(s) for that thread choose to press the issue. Which I don't think they intend to do, seeing as I believe Marth's was an offhand remark.
Park can use more than 1 or 2 Druids if he so wishes.
Realistically, if one is developing a prototype starfighter, I would imagine the "test" vehicle would be a squadron of or two of such fighters, not one or two.
The only example I can think of (and take it with a grain of salt, as it is a game and hence not the best source) is X-wing Alliance and the TIE Experimentals...
Sort'a like Biker Build-Off; you fuck up and it's up to your opponent weather or not you get away with it.
You'd imagine wrong then. Look at the development of the f-22 Raptor. However, let's not get into sementics shall we? Focus on the story and the above exception is the only variable as far as this thread goes. Agreed?
Incorrect. An exception was allowed, not a precident set. This isn't court.
