Yeah. Some kind of barrier that keeps people in, and people out. It's been mentioned in more than one book.
Galactic Wall - NJO readers
I actually think the existance of the wall is stupider than penetrating the wall. When you go outside the galaxy, you would just get farther and farther away from the stars, not push yourself through some wall.
Yeah. You'll just get into the whole void between galaxies and then you're screwed.
...Mr. Palpatine, tear down this wall!!!
But....but....but we only just got it up. Don't knock it down yet. We're not even done admiring it.
All alone, or in twos
The ones who really love you
Walk up and down outside the wall
Some hand in hand
Some gathering together in bands
The bleeding hearts and the artists
Make their stand
And when they've given you their all
Some stagger and fall after all it's not easy
Banging your heart against some mad buggers
Wall
The ones who really love you
Walk up and down outside the wall
Some hand in hand
Some gathering together in bands
The bleeding hearts and the artists
Make their stand
And when they've given you their all
Some stagger and fall after all it's not easy
Banging your heart against some mad buggers

Hey Vong! Leave them kids alone... All in all...
I'm sorry, are we being too obvious?

I was going there next. ~_~
That song does come in three parts, Ahnkypoos. Granted, lyrics may all be the same.. but still..
Actually, the concept of a galactical wall is ludicrous but a galactic barrier is actually quite sound. Astronomers believe that the force of gravity from the center of the galaxy has surrounded the galaxy in a shell if you will of debris and raw energy. It is the opposite forces from this barrier that keep all of the worlds spinning around the center rather than off into the void.
So I have read anyway.
