*shrugs* TRF ignores the Yuzzhan Vong for the most part, and so do I. Too much lame in that series.

Ah, there were some good things. I just wonder who would have made a better boyfriend for Jaina, Jagged Fel or Kyp Durron. Dark Side Passions anyone?

I'm kind of angry that it won't work between Danni and Jacen though.

I can remeber only one thing I liked in the entire series.

Grand Adiral Gillad Pelleaon, Supreme Commander of the Empire, has a son, who commands an Interdictor Cruiser. Something of a cavalier, he commandeers a TIE Defender and leads the escort of the Millennium Falcon. He is killed while bravely defending said ship at a battle whose location I forget. Either way, the sub plot was very well written and I enjoyed it. I also enjoyed the New Imperial way of life where salvery has been abolished, anti alienism is gone, and people have a modicum of freedom insolongas they do not bring detriment to the state, all the while retaining the martial splender that drew me to the Empire in the first place.

I was very very angry however that only one of the books mentioned the Imperial-Rebel alliance, with Kre-fey and Pelleaon working together quite amiably over Ithor. A golden moment that was - -I enjoyed it immensely. The rest,......welll.....

Pelleaon has consistently, whenever he shows up in Star Wars books, my favorite character.

His appearances in NJO make the books he is in worth reading.

That was, I belive, the retaking of the Bilbringi shipyards, where Jaina is taken aboard the cloaked Golan II Defense Platform. It took place in the Final Prophecy.

Pelleaons son is called Mynar Devis and captains the interdictor cruiser Wrack. He's a large fan of both Han Solo and the Millenium Falcon

Pelleaon has been my favourite character since the very first book I read (Heir to the Empire). I was dissapointed that he didn't have a larger role in the NJO series but i definatley enjoye the bits he did have.

I wasn't an overly big fan of the NJO series, but I did enjoy some of the books. My favourite was probably Star by Star which I've read more than once.

In the Jacen/Onimi battle, the reason Onimi was a shamed one, and the same reason that he was attuned to the force, was that he, I'm not sure how it was described, grafted skin cells of a Yammosk to him, thus opening him up to the force connection that Yammosk's use. That's why he could use the force.

That force batle really bored me. All it was, was Onimi creating poisons amd injecting them into Jacen and then Jacen dispelling them. There was no real point to it.

Anyways I'm gonna shut up now cus I think I've already said waaaaaaaaaay too much about that series.

I enjoyed everything between and including Star by Star and Destiny's Way... the rest of the series, however, was terrible.
