I like the basic idea behind the group, its a "new" look on Force Users (ok, well not new, but it isn't just Jedi and Sith). And it may also create more Force User RPs and such.
My only problem was the "knight rank giving thing".
I like the idea, but I share Beff's concern. Add to this concern the fact that none of your characters actually hold any sort of rank, and I ask, WTF?
So, I offer a compromise.
You three go off and do a roleplay. In this roleplay your characters discover their powers, refine them, and whatnot. At the end of this period, the story will be evaluated by the Force Council and board staff, and if you've earned it, ranks will be awarded accordingly.
Then you can submit a formal request for a faction.
Cause here's my thought: these are not, for any of you, your primary character. And running a faction with three secondary characters seems silly. I have my own doubts about whether you have the dedication to make this faction work.
The roleplay, once completed to an acceptable level, will prove your willingness and ability to run a Force faction. Never mind that starting a Force faction with three Padawans is just silly.
Also, the Witches do not strictly speaking need a faction in and of themselves... they can be a story device until such time as they NEED a faction to support them. Right now, they don't.
Thank you Drayson, for taking my general anxiety regarding the subject and forming it into a reasonable suggestion to assuage said concerns. I agree whole-heartedly.
But to add one notation; said RP could be directed towards the foundation of some sort of Dathomir-based Project. This would give you a goal to work towards while confirming your own desire to put forth the effort to see this thing through.
