Same here. That's why MS Word is the most used program on my computer...

ecit: Actually, my spelling has improved considerably since I started coming here. That could be something with growing up, and having an interest in not looking like an idiot, or something with writing more often than I did before.

Unfortunately I don't have a spell checker at all on this computer (my dads) or the one I have at home. I want to get MS word just for that purpose...but it's so freaking expensive. You can probably tell when I wrote a post at work...for my work computer 'does' have MS word :P

It doesn't help that I keep confusing the spellings of words that sound the same. (ie: 'sense' and 'since' are the two I confuse the most at present...blast this silly english language!)

www.openoffice.org/

It's free, and just as good as MS Office (unless you do crazy stuff with Excell, or database integration with Word).

Yes, TJO is in quite a sad state. We can't keep members long enough to get our Padawan classes to Knights, and here we go again.

lol lol.... boring ass life of a Jedi. I am working on changing that, though it's hard to do it under the given circumstances. The first thing that needs clarified is that I don't teach nor follow the entire traditional Jedi Code anymore. The life of a pacifist with powers they can't use because of the ideals of a long dead order does get boring in this universe. :p Whether the others choose to follow that is up to them. The only thing that really would restrict TJO is the fact that it is and will remain a non fleet group.

I will take over the training of any who desire to continue pursuing it and are willing to take up my offer. Heh, I think I'm the only master left. I don't like the idea of NPC masters, and for some of you final training may be conducted in the RP going on in the battlegrounds anyways, because you are almost there, you just need an RP under your belt...

TRF does need some recruiting. . . or merging with another board or something.

For reasons I stated before it will be awhile (in RP time) before Silonik can even be a regular Jedi, let alone a Knight: fast forwarding time is not an option...as I have things I need to have happen in other storylines before then (one of the disadvanges of having your storylines linked together).

I can try to write something to 'finish' that thread, but as I said before, that will be difficult without knowing what Cole's character's reaction would be to the news about Silonik's father. I'd be happy to take you up on your offer, but I need to think of some way to resolve the problem in that thread first...

I wasn't offering to fast forward time.
