*smacks forehead*

Gah! don't you leave Dolash, especially not now!...

...Don't give up! (and don't give in like Demos did and join them)

...the lightside is just starting to pick-up!

Not to mention we'd all miss your writing, (as most here have illustrated).

I'm just popping back in to say that it is uplifiting and gratifying to see that many people think well of my writing. I'm not leaving forever, or giving up. I just need some time away from TRF to think about what it is I really want to do here, how, and maybe change my ways.

I'll be back again on Saturday, then my exams will be over and I'll have had plenty of time to think about things and come up with a few decisions.

Thank you for your words, and don't worry, this isn't goodbye.

I think you have missed one small thing Dolash...

You think you haven't made a difference, when in actual fact you have.

Don't leave Dolash. Vacations are good, even needed, but don't leave entirely.

I've been here since you arrived and have watched you change from a newbie into the senior, experienced roleplayer you are. You might not think you've made a large contribution to TRF, but you really have. You, to the best of my knowledge, started the funny RPing that is now your trademark and is in use by others. Before then RPing was a more serious thing, at least in my opinion, where everyone was worried about planets and governments and some character development, but not worrying about how funny their characters were. Whereas you to all that, but bring a humerous element to that.

You've said it yourself, you didn't think people were reading your RPs, like Get On With It. And yet it you got 4 people reading it and voting for it on showcase, plus many more who read it and yet didn't vote for the showcase at all cause they were lazy (like me). And yet it is tied for second place for the showcase. And the one that is above it is written by titus and has been in progress for multiple years. Another sign of how much you have contributed here is milkshake's comment of: "after all, nothing beats Dolash being funny".

I too have definately been in your place. During the old TRE vs. IFE/MCR/TCS/TNA wars when first one group then another go crushed. TCS, run by my brother, was the first to go. Then TNO attacked IFE, devastating it and MCR, because of my own stupidity (Abolishers SUCK). Then, with a tiny fleet, MCR and IFE had to defend against the Vong and TRE at the same time, cause Chadd was being stupid. Then TNA got smoked and ended up merging with NR. MCR and IFE managed to hang in there, largely through many very annoying surrenders and treaties with TRE, before TNO finally came in again and wiped out IFE (my group). And then MCR stayed in there, barely, and managed to survive until the fleet restart and then continued after that.

But in that time there was a many times when I just felt like giving up and leaving TRF entirely, because there was nothing we could do to stop TRE or TNO. I went through three smaller groups during those times, but all were soon destroyed. I also went through two different characters in MCR, because my first had to retire because of Chadd.

And then after the last big war, I felt like giving up once all the surrenders were done. However instead I just became a lot less active and just kind of lurked. Finally, when I felt like coming active again, I did, but largely because you had been out there continue GC and making it stronger. Sure, I had been managing the builds for the fleet and stuff, but you were the guiding light, not just for me, but for all of GC. You're the one who has never lost his morals and energy and passion for roleplaying.

If you're feeling tired now, its because you've been here for so long, constantly fighting to make this a better take a vacation like everyone says and that will refresh you. Or even if you don't leave TRF entirely, just cut back on the amount of time spent here. Go outside, do stuff not related to TRF and have fun.

As well, in 5 years if GC is beating TNO for galactic supremecy, who do you think is going to get the credit? Me and Joren for winning the fleet battles? I don't think so. The name remembered for it will be Dolash (or Regrad), for being the guiding light, for leading us, for making the plans, for remaking our military, for pretty much everything.

Where I was going with this, I don't know. But the point it, don't go, stay here, you have made a tremendous contribution to TRF and it would be a major loss for us if you left.
