Jargur made a mental note - whatever 'that' was, he had to make sure he got some before he was redeployed away from Trandosha.

So once again the ambassadors returned and regrouped in the conference room, now with the added presences of the ship's captain and a group from the Serens.

Far tenser than before, they filed in, with Oaxaca and Jargur hurrying to meet up again and with the captain.

"Everything all right?" the captain muttered as the two ambassadors approached.

"Just fine now, yes. There's a good chance to rectify the situation." Jargur crossed his arms "Still a lot we don't know. Sure, they're saying a lot, but the questions remain. We still don't know much about the Serens, and there's a whole lot of division. It's clear the thrones of power around here are just barely held by moderates."

"They're sure sticking together, though. It seems the bigger conflicts are between the hardliners and the moderates rather than the fleet and the two races." Oaxaca quickly scanned the room as the delegates got comfortable. "If they'll keep together like this, then we'll just have to focus on how we can help them against radicals and to maintain peace and their rightful governments. This could make our job a lot easier, actually."

Finaly, as everyone settled down, Jargur turned to those assembled, and said "Gentlemen, ladies, it is good to greet you all... again. We've had a lot of trouble, but thankfull it seems sorted out now, and perhaps we'll have time to have a whole meeting. I did have a whole curriculum of issues and things to talk about, but in light of recent events I've thrown that away and have a simple question to ask.

"Is there anything you want to say? Any more you want to tell us about this divide? Any more about the hardliners, or their organization, or the possibility of conspiracies, or your enemies, or you Serendivus types and where you come from, or anything? We want to help, but we can't if we're not up to speed. So, before we begin again, anything else anyone wants to say about just what went on just now with the attacks and the fleet and the traitors?"

Angella raised an eye-brow at what the ambassador had said, she had been given orders to listen to what the ambassador had to say and to speak on Lavality's behalf, she had been personally chosen for that assignment due to how open-minded she was and how she never made assumptions unless there was facts to back it up

She crossed her leg over and placed her hands on her knee, then glanced away from the ambassador and toward a crew member that had accompanied her from her ship. He placed a mobile-holo display on the table and, after some button pressing, an image appeared. "The Seren's are a group of mercenaries that have decided to stay together and formulate an organization. Fikan Serendivus was our founder and helped pave the way for many colony's and eventionally, two starbase's. We have over ten asteroid base's located in different area's of space."

She brushed her hand to her left and the image changed to show the area around Kashyyyk. "Further more, our main base is secret, even I don't know it's true location. Only Flag Officers and high ranking admiral's have that information, even Tzhali, who was placed in command of two Seren ships and granted the rank of 'Fleet Admiral' wasn't given that information"

Tzhali snarled at that. "Does she just not trust us?"

Angella frowned. "It's not that, our HQ is heavilly fortified and is always being reinforced everyday. I don't truely know what goes on there, only that it's top secret." The girl waved her hand once more and another image, this time of an asteroid field located in Coalition space appeared. "You want our trust so we'll reveal this bit of information: Three asteroid colony's exist in this field. Each housing a grand total of ten thousand to thirty thousand people." Should she mention that each colony is defended by two groups of modified x-wings and the prototype g-wing? No.. that was something she couldn't release, espically related to the G-wing, that ship still hadn't been combat tested, but she knew if an alliance was formed that information would need to be released on it.

Another wave of the hand showed an image of the crest, then Lavality herself. Tzhali nodded, the girl looked like a normal twelve year old female, but he knew she had been hiding a lot, the scar's on her face and the bruise's on her body that where pretty evident in the image showed just how much she had gone through. "Lavality, adopted daughter of Fikan Serendivus, a child found on a desolate planet four years ago, she was found to have been in possession of a vast amount of military knowledge, so much that in simulation's she made ring's around some of our most experienced officers." a grin formed on her face. "Although she was rather impressed with Tiosk's command, she almost gave up her own command handed it to him."

She noticed a few looks and shook her head. "Lavality is a human being, she may be a child, but she's a child only by nature, I have my reasons that she was born rather smart and that, perhaps, she was the catalyst to our organization." the image of the girl vanished and the crest appeared. Showing just what had been show in the holo video that was played awhile ago. "The Seren's are a peaceful organization that are assembled here in Kashyyyk until we are no longer needed."

"The recent attack's where unannouced." Angella admited. "We have had issue's since helping the people in these systems." she collasped her hands and thought about it. "We hadn't any warning that two of our prototypes had been taken from drydock and brought here... surprised the hyper-drive modules even worked.." she said

Angella straightened up and stared at the Ambassador straight in the eye. "Now-" she said in what some would pervice is a very cold tone, but at the same time a hint of 'enjoyment' could be sensed. "You have any further questions? Like one's related to our weapons teachnology, ship designs? I mean you did after all notice two of our ships, one of which appeared surprisingly close to the planet." she turned to Noasha. "And I must apologize, we'll fork over some material's to Tiosk for repairs, when I get my hands on the dockmaster I'll personally ring his neck." she snarled and turned back at the Ambassador. "Well?"

Naosha thought a moment before she spoke. “The problem we T’Doshok have is that we are on the verge of practically throwing away countless generations of traditions, particularly the tradition of the hunt.” She said. “Every one of our Clan types have issues with this in one form or another: The Warrior Clans, most obviously, have already suffered a drastic reduction in what is considered ‘acceptable’ targets. As a fallout to that, the other Clans suffer losses in profit: the medics have fewer patients to heal, merchants won’t have the repeat customers they used to in the weapons field, and the scientists won’t have as much of an incentive to develop new weapon technology, thus a lack of new products for the merchants and it’s a domino effect from there.

“We have, over the last couple of months, managed to improve things.” Naosha continued. “Some of the Warrior Clans have settled well into their new roles as a police force, joining our army in that goal of keeping the peace on our planet: we hope to extend that type of service beyond our planet and some already have taken that step of becoming a type of bounty hunter that only hunts actual criminals. From what I heard, some ships from the Fleet have been having fun routing out the pirates that have set up shop in the system during Hyssok’s reign and the anti-slaver operations have been a great success so far.

“The Clans I worry lease about are the Merchants as they are the most flexible and I have little doubt they will simply either change their wares or expand their target audience. The Science Clans may accept the option of working with the Coalition to develop new tech, but I must warn you that we know of at least one such Clan that has less then ethical motives and as it was mentioned in our last meeting they have been suspiciously quiet as of late. As for the Medical Clans, there is really not much we can do for them as their profit lies in people getting hurt or sick, save perhaps in developing new medical procedures and such. They are the most ‘peaceful’ of the Clans anyway, thus are not really prone to taken extreme action.

“All in all the biggest problem is with the Warrior Clans, of which we have the most of. Many members are already complaining that the acceptable target list is too small and that they lack a proper challenge. We are seeing about having unblooded warriors join the wookiees in their own coming of age hunts on Kashyyyk, but that is still very fresh in the negotiations between our worlds and low priority. Even if it was approved, it doesn’t solve the problem with the more experienced warriors.

“Basically many fear that the only lively hood they’ve ever known is being taken away from them, a lively hood over 50% of our population takes part in. The only reason we’ve gotten this far is because, in no small part due to Hyssok’s reckless decisions, the general populous fears the galaxy is at a point where the would be fed up with our hunter and slaver antics and seek to wipe us off the face of the galaxy. An extreme situation, yes, but considering the mind set of those like the New Order, it is sadly not that far fetched.

“That is why I did what I did in starting the revolution that got us to this point so far. We T’Doshok have remained basically the same while the galaxy around us have changed countless times. We’ve been lucky so far that we really didn’t need to change, but now I feel that in order to survive as a species for generations to come, that time to change is now.”

****

Meanwhile in the shuttle, things were getting a little steamy. It had started out with just simple cuddling between the love struck pair, but things had started to get a bit adventurous. Adventurous to the point were Silliss started to feel uncomfortable, not because he didn’t want it, but for a different reason. So he abruptly pulled away.

“What’s wrong?” Varcanna asked, sounding disappointed.

“I…I can’t risk us going any further.” Silliss said quietly.

“Why not?” Varcanna said. “It’s not like I can be impregnated anyway.”

Silliss visibly winced, wondering just how to say what he needed to say. Gods did he feel guilty for not telling her sooner. “Remember when I told you about my ‘condition’?” He asked, hesitantly. “How my body has trouble making white blood cells?”

“Yeah, but I don’t see why that should…”

“I didn’t tell you everything.” He said with a sigh, looking away.

“What?”

“My body actually doesn’t have trouble making the white blood cells. Instead…it’s a virus…that is destroying them.”

Jargur turned to Oaxaca. Oaxaca turned to Jargur. For a second, they shared a look that said We just might be in over our heads. Intrigue, politics, all this they had expected, but there were so many factions, so many forces at work! How could they hope to untangle these issues, or find the root cause, or provide a solution?

Unless, of course.... there might not have been a root cause at all. Perhaps in reality, situations are not always all spawned by one thing and solved by another, sometimes they just had to adapt to each problem as it came along and solved it in its' own way. They were ambassadors, by the gods, and if they couldn't represent their people and make decisions then what good were they?

As you can guess, it was quite the involved look, with rather complicated facial expressions.

"Well then..." began Jargur "There's only one solution we can provide..."

"We can't say it'll be any easier, but it might be just what's in order." Oaxaca stepped up to the table, and rested his hands on it. "The Coalition is full of people who didn't get along at one time or another - the Tynnans and the Kubaz, the Verpine and the... Kubaz - actually, a lot of people don't seem to like the Kubaz." Jargur quickly recovered for him.

"But the important thing is, that the Coalition is an organization that works to mediate disputes, that brings its' members together, and promotes peace and justice through various programs and the promise of guarenteed soveringty and freedom. We've had to deal with internal unrest before, as well as straight-out civil war."

"We can help and protect you a little now, but joining the Coalition makes your two races part of something larger, a community of nations, putting aside their differences for a common cause. It will be strength you can call on when factions inside your own societies threaten to destroy unity or break the peace."

"As for the Fleet..." said Jargur, who nodded to their representative. "I can't say there's a set way to deal with such a thing, but you have proven honourable in intention, and the Coalition would also be prepared to welcome you too - if not as a member, then at least as an ally, so that you might find just as much safety and respite here as before, as well as the Coalition should you need us."

Oaxaca took out a stack of documents, treaties and forms that were standardized for such situations and placed them on top of the table. "When we first came here, we dodged around the main issue, not wanting to say what we really came here to say - which is that the Coalition wants your help, and in return we can help you. We fight wars and try to stop the spread of Imperialism, and you are all trying to adjust to a new time period where the galaxy is fractious and dangerous, and many old traditions are just as apt to see you killed at the hands of foreign invaders.

"After seeing the effects of our indirect ambassador-talk, however, and the confusion and chaos that followed, now we are being honest. What we offer is stability and strength in return for adding your strength to the Coalition's should we in turn need it. What do you say?" The room became deathly silent as all waited for someone's voice to break it with an answer.

Angella laid back in her chair and thought about it. The Seren's pride themselves on not being seen, she thought to herself. Although Lavality did give me authorization to disguss treaties, I really do wonder what her thoughts are with joining the coalition.

She rested her hands on her knee's and looked up at the ceiling, still in thought. We have so much modified technology that some of it I'm sure the coalition will not like, but then again, if the New Order ever found out they'd hunt us down. she rubbed her head, if someone could actually see the black cloud's of smoke, then they'd know that she was thinking VERY hard.

We can give them some weapon's technology, including the plan's to our G-wing and HSF. But Lavality herself will have to disguss further arrangements with them directly. She smiled. "The Serendivus will gladdly join, but ONLY if the Trandoshans and Wookiee's sign on, we are their protector's and our current cliants, if they join, we join, if they declien, we declien." she said. "Further more, in the event we do join. Either you, or someone of higher authority, will have to disguss further negotiation's with Grand Admiral Lavality Serendivus herself." she smiled but then added: "Oh.. and don't refer to her as a child.. she is must smarter than an average human twelve year old."

She sighed. Well, thats that, I'll let Speaker-above-all Naoshan, and Admiral/Chieftain Tzhali to make the choice.

***

Tzhali listened to the Serendivus Delegate, he had to admit, for a human, she did look pretty good. He thought the oppertunity to join up with the Coalition, after all, they had some very good service's to offer and they might have what they need in order to survive in this day and age. "My fellow wookiee's would gladdly join the Coalition." He said, but he knew they sensed a 'however' "However, if one side joins, then so must the other. If Speaker-above-all Naoshan decide's to join the Coalition, then Kashyyyk will join in as well." He said in a stern, yet honest, tone

He sat there, he was about to say more when he noticed the Seren Delegate's facial expression. "Let me ask you something."

Angella turned to him. "Yes Admir-"

"Please.... don't call me that..." he said and shook his furry hand at her

She smiled at him. "I take it you didn't like Lavality promoting you eh?"

"Not that... I was just a lowly captain a couple months ago, then she goes off on some adventure.. anyway.. this may be out of the question: But what do you plan on bringing to both governments?" Tzhali asked

"Grand Admiral Lavality already authorized me to hand over the blueprints to four of our fighter craft, along with a blue print to one of our modified republic destroyers. There's another she would like to hand over but after today's little 'excitement' I don't think she'll do it." She was refering to those Hyper Direct ships that came in on top of Tiosk's ship. "She designed that one frigate that hypered on top of Admiral Tiosk's ship, she personally wanted to test it but as you can see, someone did it for her and well... I'm sure the observation ship already has the test results it needs to further enhance it."

Tzhali blinked. "Isn't such a vessel... I don't know.. dangerous seeing how it hardly had any SHIELDS?"

Angella was loving this. "Tell me, whats worse. A ship coming out one hundred AU's from you? Or a ship coming out about 1 to 5 AU's from you, just above your bridge and within direct fire range of it's torpedo tubes?" she grinned

Tzhali blinked once more. "I get the general idea." He said and rubbed his forehead. "Please tell me only one of those ships exists right?"

"There are two prototypes, the other was under lock and key and only the Grand Admiral has access to it. The other.. well... Tiosk kinda turend it into slag." she snarled and turned to Naosha. "Lavality's going to have a fit when she find's out what happened to her prototype, although she'll probably appriciate it being destroyed since it was being used by a rogue group."

Thats when the thought came to her and she turned to the Ambassadors. "If you truely want to help us out, then you might see about doing us a favor. As you probably already know, we are spread thin since the Battle of Trandoshan, there is a military outpost in an asteroid field within Coalition space that we lost contact with a few minutes before those rogue ships turned on us. If you can find out what happened, and perhaps get the base back, then that'd be grand, if you have to destroy it then so be it, we have the technology to hollow out another asteroid and rebuild from there." She smiled and awaited an answer

Naosha beamed at the offered alliance. “I would be happy to join the Coalition. However…” Her smile faded. “I am not privileged to make that decision on my people’s behalf. I was sent here as a representative to here out your purpose here in our system and nothing more. I will take your offer of allegiance before the Council and no doubt a full Council, a Council between not only the Elder Councilors but the top ranking Clans of the planet, will need to convene to discuss it. That is where I fear difficulty will com, for I know some of those ranking Clans will adamantly refuse to join.”

She looked over at Tzhali. “I know little of how Wookiee politics work my friend, but I wouldn’t advise basing your decision to join the Coalition on whether or not my people decide to. I would take the offer back to your government and let your people decide, though I imagine you would have a less difficult time coming up with a majority vote then I would.

“With that said, I have a suggestion.” Naosha paused a moment to ensure she had everyone’s attention. “No offense meant to you Ambassador Jargur and Ambassador Oaxaca, but it is clear you have been away from your own cultures for a long time. I propose that you return with us to our respective homeworlds, not only to assist in the decision making process, but to get a first hand look at how things are. No doubt this could be dangerous with the radical elements involved, but I am fully prepared to take full responsibility for your welfare Jargur.”

***

Varcanna’s eyes widened in shock and as he suspected she pushed herself away. “Wh…what? Why did you tell me sooner?” She asked accusingly.

“I wasn’t expecting us to want to go that far.” He said simply. “So I didn’t think it was necessary to tell you fully.”

“But what we were doing…couldn’t that…”

“No.” He shook his head. “Saliva is the only body fluid it isn’t capable of transferring itself through.”

“Still…all others I’ve heard that got that were culled to prevent an epidemic.”

“Why do you think my father is so poor despite his rank as Vice Admiral?”

“What…? I never noticed to be honest…”

He sighed. “Father uses all his money to bribe the doctors to keep quiet, to pay for the blood transfusions I go under every six months and to import medicine that helps keep it suppressed, medicine I must take once a week. That is why he practically lives on his ship and when he’s on the surface he stays either with his second in command, Konik, or on the Clan grounds. Konik and Rissonik are the only other two T’Doshok father can trust with the knowledge of my condition.”

“That…seems to be a lot of effort to keep you going, when he has two other perfectly healthy sons.” The comment was a sharp jab in his heart, but nodded regardless. “The only reason he wants me to stay alive is because I’m the only thing he has left of the one he truly loved.”

“So your mother was someone else…”

“Yes. She was a noble from a Clan of weapon smiths, but many of them also warriors in their own right.” Silliss explained. “She was the youngest of three siblings and she and father fell head over heels in love with each other. However, her Clan disapproved of there relationship, in part because father is a commoner and the other because they had a grudge against the K’Satikur Clan. They continued to see each other in secret however, even after she was forced to marry a noble from other Merchant Clan.

“Then one day she broke off the relationship, for reasons my father didn’t know why until a few months later, when she risked her life to bring me to him. She had gotten pregnant, but didn’t know who the sire was until the eggs hatched. Apparently I was the first to hatch and it’s obvious who my father is.” He smiled faintly, but it faded quickly. “That night she brought me to father was the last time either of us saw her, for she was killed in a terrorist attack in the merchant sector of Hsskhor a few months later. It seems though…that someone in her family found me out…”

Varcanna blinked in confusion, then the horrifying realization hit her. “Dear goddess…you mean....”

“Yes. The virus was purposely given to me when I was a boy, in an attempt to assassinate me.” Silliss sighed again. “Unfortunately we have no proof they did it, for they covered their tracks well. Compounding that, it was soon after we discovered the infection that not only the doctor suspected of giving me the virus ‘disappeared’, Tnossok forcefully took over the Clan and to protect me father was forced to leave the Clan, as Tnossok would have surely culled me himself if he knew. It was a dark time…I nearly died back then as father no longer had the support of the Clan and no income. Fortunately he was able to find a sympathic minor Clan to help us, but at the cost of marrying into their family and siring sons for them. He has since broken nearly all ties with them, now that he has enough income to pay for the expenses of my care himself and that I am starting to get income myself to help with the payment.”

Varcanna was quiet for a long time, digesting all the information Silliss just gave her. The longer she thought, the more he worried. He knew she did have a capability of being prejudgest, her feud with Asri was proof of that, but he feared that prejudgest would extend to him now.

“You should have told me from the start…” She said finally, Silliss noting a faint hint of anger in her voice.

“I know…I’m sorry.” He said softly. “I feared you would reject me if I told you then though…”

“And telling me now is any better!?” She snapped. “After we had started forming a bond between us? Goddess Silliss, how could be you so careless!? So selfish!?” Though he was just as tall as she was, he felt so small. “How do you expect anyone to trust you if you are not honest with them from the start!?”

“You know why!” He snapped back. “I can’t just tell ‘anyone’, I would end up getting culled and all that I worked for would have been for nothing!”

“I am not just ‘anyone’ Silliss.” Varcanna said coolly. “You know I am open minded.”

“Asri would disagree with that.” Silliss countered before he could stop himself.

Varcanna just stood there staring at him, then without working she smacked him, sending him to the floor. “Don’t you ever mention her around me!” She screamed. “That freak isn’t worth the ground I step on!”

“And Trazu isn’t a freak?” Silliss said boldly as he got to his feet, bracing himself for another slap. It was a bad thing to say, considering how close Varcanna was to her brother, but the point was there.

“How dare you….”

“Yes I dare…even Trazu is disgusted with how you treat Lady Asri.” Silliss hissed. “He knows what it’s like to be mistreated because of something he couldn’t help. Perhaps you should heed those lessons….”

Varcanna swung at him, but he caught her arm, spun behind her and pinned both her arms against her sides with his own. “Let go of me!” She growled.

“Not until you calm down.” Silliss said calmly.

“Let me go you…you diseased freak!”

That hurt. Hurt so much he let her go due to shock. Fortunately instead of continuing the confrontation, Varcanna dashed for the cockpit and closed it behind her. Unfortunately, Silliss was left alone with the sudden rush of pain and despair in his heart. Shaking, he sat down in a corner and buried his head in his arms.

"Huh?" Said a guard on the Seren Shuttle

His partner looked at him "Whats wrong Mark?"

"I thought I heard something coming from the Trando's ship." The guard said as he got up. He walked over to the loading ramp and looked out. "Huh... must've been my imagination." he said and turned around, what he saw next stunned him

"Whats wrong?" His partner said, but neither had a chance to say something

At first it wasn't noticeable thanks to how small the charge was, but once it reached the shuttle reactor there was no stopping it. First the cockpit blew apart from the main section, flying across the hanger before hitting the deck and breaking apart, next the center section exploded outward, sending armor and what remained of the guards all over the place, and last but not least, the three wings of the shuttle flew outward, one went right into the ceiling, punching the deck above it, the other two flew off and into the near by wall's, one flew across the Trandoshan shuttle and nearly missed by a fraction of an inch. But that wasn't the deadliest part, due to the shuttle being armed with missile launchers, the war-heads heated up and exploded within the launchers, causing quite a fireworks display inside the hanger bay

What remained of the shuttle was a burning hulk of armor and bits and peices of cargo containers

***

The explosion was powerful enough to send Angella out of her chair and onto the ground. "What the hell was that?!" She yelled as she got back on her feet

"Trouble in the hangar?" said Jargur.

"I'm on it." said the captain, who turned on the wall panel again "Report!"

"Sir! Explosion in the hangar! We... we don't know what caused it! I think it was the Serendivus shuttle that blew up, sir. Lots of fires, but no serious damage to the hangar."

"This meeting is adjourned." said Jargur, straightening swiftly and collecting his papers. "There is nothing more to discuss until Naosha speaks to her people and all parties have an agreement to sign - for now, the danger is too great to remain any longer."

"We'll supply escorts immediately to get you back to your own ships," Began Oaxaca "and thoroughly search the other shuttles for any signs of explosives before we-"

"Wait, the other shuttles..." said the captain, who turned the wall panel back on "Crewmen! The other shuttles! Stay back, and evacuate the area, they could be trapped as well!"

***

Down in the hangar bay, two soldiers dashed with fire extinguishers under their arms, dodging around small fires to the Trandoshan ship.

"I'm telling you, we've got to make sure there's no one aboard!" said the first soldier, who quickly dashed up the boarding ramp. The second soldier followed reluctantly, with thoughts of the most recent explosion still in his mind.

"We just have to check that there isn't - ah! Space monsters!" Briefly forgetting himself in the panic of the moment, the soldier turned his fire extinguisher on the two Trandoshans he found within, covering them in flame-retardant foam.

"Oh - Oh, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to... um..." he noticed the compromising situation they seemed to be in, and coughed. "There was an explosion - outside, I mean, and..."

The second soldier slapped him on the back of the head. "Good going, doofus. Let's just get out of here in case this one explodes too! Quick!"

Varcanna almost didn’t notice the explosion of the Seren shuttle since she was so buried in her own thoughts. From her view point she could only gape for a moment, then her mind switched from her recent spat with Silliss to a more immediate concern: has her ship been compromised as well? Now on automatic, she tore out of the cockpit, heading for the service room where she could access the reactor to the shuttle.

“Varca…what…” Silliss started to ask, but she shoved him aside as she checked the access panel on the door. It was secure with no signs of tempering and the code was in Clan Dialect for extra security reasons. Of course, being that she and Silliss had been in here the whole time it was unlikely someone would have gotten in to tamper with her ship, unless….

“Varca what just…?” Silliss started to ask again as she turned abruptly and ran right into him, sending them both to the floor. It was then the two Coalition Soldiers rushed in and blasted them with fire fighting foam.

Varcanna nearly at the end of her patience as she disentangled herself from Silliss and wiped the foam off her face. With only a hiss, she pushed the two soldiers aside, ignoring their apology as she dashed down the ramp and started looking over her ship from the outside. She searched thoroughly and found what she was looking for: a suspicious looking package attached to the hull where it would be closest to the reaction.

“Silllis! Get me my tool kit!” She yelled.

Silliss, who had poked his head out to see what she was doing, quickly complied and disappeared back into the shuttle. A moment later Silliss ran back out with the kit in his hands, which Varcanna snatched out of his hands roughly.

“Wouldn’t it be wiser to just leave the area?” Silliss said hesitantly, watching nervously as she took a couple of tools and started carefully removing one of the side panels of the device.

“You can if you want.” She said flatly as she successfully removed the panel and started inspecting the contents inside.. “But I’m not going to let some nerf herder blow up my ship on my watch. Now shut up…I need to concentrate.”

Silliss gulped but otherwise said nothing more as he backed away, joining the two soldiers that were watching her as if she was crazy. Varcanna meanwhile devoted her full attention to disabling the bomb. A few of screws removed and a couple of wires sniped and she removed the detonator. Once she had it free she quickly ran toward the end of the hanger and tossed it out into space. Quickly she returned to the device and did a quick search of the rest of the package to ensure it didn’t have a secondary detonator. When she was sure it was completely disabled she pulled it off the hull of her ship.

“Ok, it’s disabled, however….I must talk to your Captain…NOW.” She said.

***

Naosha sighed and slumped in her seat. Why did things like this have to keep happening during important meetings? At least they were actually able to finish the meeting this time. Still, she worried about Varcanna: wasn’t she and Silliss in the same hanger as the one that just blew up?

On cue the comm. panel on the table buzzed for attention. When the captain answered Varcanna’s voice, which sounded hightly irritated, was heard.

~Captain, sorry to be abrupt, but I strongly suggest you don’t let ‘anyone’ leave the ship.~ She said, before the Captain could demand an explanation she explained. ~I found a satchel charge on my ship just now. I was able to disable it, but you may want to send a bomb squad over to Tzhali’s ship to check his over. One things for certain, who ever did this must be on your ship somewhere, as this bomb sure the ziss wasn’t on my ship before I left the ‘Bloodfang’.~

“Oh great….just great….” Naosha groaned.

~I’m sending Silliss up to you.~ Varcanna continued. ~He’s an experience warrior so he’ll be able to provide additional protection to the Ambassadors while this is sorted out. Don’t worry about me, I can handle myself.~

Tzhali sighed. "Why do these things always happen to us..." he said in a low tone. Angella shrugged. "Who ever it was must've got on the ship somehow, because only two people where with me when I came here."

She gestured to her wookie translator. "Merlin here. And-" she pointed toward the far corner and suddenly noticed that the other translator wasn't there anymore. "Where the hell did Julian go?!" She shouted as she glanced about the room. "Sith Spit!" she got up and gestured to one of Tzhali's guards, who followed her out of the meeting room

Tzhali blinked. "So that explains why Lavalitys choose her." He smiled and, before anyone could ask. "She was a high guard for Fikan, the late admiral for the Serendivus, I guess Angella took her ship being blown up as an act of aggression. If she's anything like Lavality, then I strongly suggest YOU-" Tzhali pointed to the captain, "-Find the sabatore first BEFORE she does..." he nodded and added one more thing: "Also, please send a team to my shuttle"

Angella fast walked down the hallway, the guard handed her a pistol which she checked and put it on her belt. "Stay by my side." she snarled, the guard nodded
