Empress Dark Emerald Jade, Shadow Jedi Apprentice and Eternal Companion to Emperor Fearsons, had been standing at his side all along. She had seen every sinlge emotion on his face during the time this battle was raging on.

Jadey had been reading something on her datapad when she heard a voice speak to no one paticular.

"Somir is here..."

Not liking the sound of that, Jadey sets aside her datapad and stands up from her chair, reaching her right hand around her belt loop and drawing out a black onyx hilt, the mate to the longer double bladed black onyx hilt on her left belt loop which houses twin black blades which she had constructed.

This saber she had constructed as well. It was also a black blade, but tinted ever so slightly with dark green and dark purple, shaped into that of a katana.

Fearsons tone is what made her grab her saber hilt, holding it tightly in her left hand, unignited.

If there was going to be a fight, she was ready for it, no matter what it costs her.

He regained his posture with dignity, brushing off the particles of dirt that had gathered onto his robes. He blinked several times nervously.

Fearsons had fought Somir before, they had been locked into a stalemate, neither side emerging victorious from that duel. But the man had taken his daughter...

A hand was lifted to keep the others at bay. He looked out over the open space to where he located the ship of the dark lord. It was unmistakeable.

"Get a tractor beam locked onto him," Fearsons said quietly, as if afraid to speak too loudly. "Grant him passage aboard this ship but bring him to me, do you understand?"

The guards and crew acknowledged and broke off to their duties.

The Silent Death slid to a halt upon the polished floor of the docking bay. Proceeded by a dozen of what appear to be Royal Guardsmen, the Dark Lord strode from the vessel through the venting steam and gasses. Swiftly and silently, he was escorted to the position of the 'Emperor' Fearsons.

"Greetings, Fearsons."

The Dark Lord's tone was cold, yet civil.

The presence of his other blade, Ash'Tar, the twin blade to Tabris that he'd lost in the bowels of this man's very palace, was easily sensed by Fearsons, the man had claimed the weapon as a trophy.

In the presence of the dark lord of the sith, Emperor Fearsons showed no fear, he simply stared at him stoicly, eyes narrowed dangerously.

"Your presence is not welcomed on this ship Somir and your time here is thin. You will state your business and leave," he said, trying to disregard all the pain that this very...thing had caused him.

He was surprised that there weren't the typical hordes of massassi that the dark lord seemed to enjoy travellign with as easily as he did luggage.

The Dark Lord grinned, if slightly.

"I have come to return something to you."

A lightsaber hilt flew from within his robes to his right hand. The Dark Lord called upon the Dark Force to levitate it to Fearsons.

"I believe this.. is yours."

The Dark Lord's grin turned flat and cold once more.

"Now, to business. You will provide me with an Eclipse Class Star Destroyer."

Jadey held the saber hilt in both her hands tightly, slightly raised and close to her right shoulder, ready to ignite and fight when asked to.

She heard the name Somir and snarled loudly at this man before them. She may be Shadow Jedi now, but she was looking every bit the Sith she was no longer.

Calling the Force around her, Jadey was very much ready to do battle, here and now, if she were pushed to do so.

The Dark Lord regarded Jade a moment, then dismissed her.

Speaking in the, long dead, Sith language he spat out.

<Betrayal of the Dark Force will kill you in the end, Shadow Jedi Jade.>

Lifting his hand, Emperor Fearsons deftly caught the weapon, and examined it to be sure that the dark lord had implanted no devices on it. When he was confident that it was clean and safe, he nodded, giving it a quick Force scan before placing it on the right side of his belt.

Fearsons was totally blind to the battle raging outside, on the EMPRESS system that incinerated under the firepower of the missile boats, adding to the already crippled Galactic Defense Initiative forces.

At the sound of Somir's sudden demand though, his eyes went wide.

"You have some gaul Diete, you know that? I'd have thought the Dark Lord of the Sith would have at least the intellect beyond that of a nerf."

He looked over at Jade, her combat readiness noted. At the PeFauna...they were already set and ready to charge even without the emperor's order. Their staves had been ignited.

He turned back to Maim.

"Get off my ship," he said calmly.

The Dark Lord chuckled.

"You really have lost your sense of humor in your old age, haven't you?"

He glanced around the ship slowly.

"... and get off your ship? Is that any way to speak to an old.. friend?"

Jadey opens her eyes a bit wide, then narrows them again. She then answers back the same way Somir spoke to her.

<I may be a traitor, and I will pay for it when I do die. I know my time is coming and I will not hide from it. But that time is not now. I choose my destiny, not anyone else.>
