Alpha Blue Command Center - Location Classified

Admiral Drayson looked at the holographic representation that appeared before him.
"Not another one? I thought we'd seen the end of this foolishness,"
"Emperor Fearsons was never one for subtlety," Supreme Commander Isstal pointed out, his hologram flickering slightly - probably caused by some star flare or disturbance between here and the capitol.
"True enough, but a Death Star? That's just plain idiocy." The hologram nodded.
"Every group in the galaxy will be on his ass."
"And us?" Isstal smiled.
"Another time, perhaps Admiral. You are our head of intelligence - what do you propose to do?"
"I will visit the Emperor. I want to see if what he says is true..." The holographic Supreme Commander nodded and flickered out. Admiral Drayson sighed.
"Lieutenant, prepare my shuttle."

"With all due respect," Vice Councilar Eola started as the shuttle began its motion into hyperspace, "are you sure your public announcement was the smartest of ideas my liege?" That won him a smile from the ebon and crimson clad emperor, who simply let his pupiless eyes narrow to little slits as he eased back in the comfort of his personal craft. On either side he was literally bathed in TIE defenders, sixteen of them, all piloted by some of the best PeFauna in the galaxy.

It was at moments like these where he'd never felt more alive, more welcomed in the expedition of life. Though he rested now in the confines of his transport, he indulged every word Eola had to say to him. He could not blame the young Chandrilan, to personally announce the construction of a death star was extremely risky by any standards. Some went as far as to call him arrogant.

Oh how predictable the galaxy was. After becoming emperor for so long did they really think him that much of a fool?

"I am positive it was a magnificent idea," he responded matter-of-factly, his eyes watching the ceiling as if there was something to be interested in amongst the paintings he'd had adorn it.

"Yes majesty, but-,"

"Tell me again Vice Counciler, who exactly is the emperor?" he asked with a smile so wide it nearly took to his ears. He heard the resounding sigh from his counciler.

"You my lord."

"And who is the vice counciler who advises me?"

"Myself and that is why-,"

"That is why you shall advise and listen to my final order. Correct?" Fearsons finally said, leaning forward as if to examin the other human's face. "I understand where you are coming from Vice Counciler, but I know exactly what I'm doing."

"You do realize sire, that this may turn our allies against us, may aggrovate the Empire, may finally push them over the edge in a pre-emptive strike!" the chandrilan tried to explain so many details in only one sentence, thinking that may be the only one he managed to get off to the emperor.

Of course he could not complain, he'd heard the tales of Emperor Palpatine, and how he would right out kill a man if he grew tired of him, or of how the Sith had randomly murdered people on the bridge of star destroyers just for the sake of doing so, so dealing with Emperor Fearsons should have been easy, but still it could be frustrating at times when he had an idea.

"I understand all your concerns Eola, and I have taken them into consideration, as has the war council, and the inquisition, as well as the RSDS. Do you honestly think I would jeopordize years worth of construction for no better reason than an undying urge to tell everyone? Do you think that I am stupid enough to act without thinking? I did not win the Chimeran Civil War that way Eola, please do not underestimate me. It makes it harder to want to promote you."

Eola sighed again, it was indeed hard to try to deal with this one. There was no real arrogance in him to try to jump on, it was like how he'd imagined dealing with Grand Admiral Thrawn, knowing exactly what he was doing but never being arrogant or snobby about it, just knowing it had to be done.

But did this really have to be done? Jileaek Station was still a highly classified station, and while he announced its construction, he fortunately did not announce where it was. Politically speaking however, this was a double-edged sword he was now wielding.

On one hand, if the Empire would have stumbled upon it and revealed it to the galaxy he would have looked like a power grubbing maniac, but now that he revealed it and his intent with it, people are a bit more interested in hearing what he has to say, interested in seeing what the Rogue Empire has in mind for diplomacy and negotiations within the galaxy.

Already there were Hapan soldiers landing there, as was specifically requested by the emperor of the Crown Prince, Dakkon Darksword, who eagerly agreed, along with the Tholatin forces requested, and the Colonial Forces under the one known as Darkestsith6. It was already looking like a diplomatic station.

The audio systems flared to life suddenly within the shuttle. "My lord, we are reverberating from hyperspace now, will come out in three...two...one." With that the shuttle exitted its decent, coming into the Clak'Dor V System, where the Celestial Corrupter was awaiting.

"Just...chill out counciler," Fearsons said with a smile.

The shuttle set down on the spacious deck of the Home One cruiser's secondary landing bay. Within moments of the ship's arrival, the small fleet that comprised of Alpha Blue's task force had made the jump to hyperspace, en route to their undisclosed destination.

"Supreme Commander, it is an honour to see you again, sir!" Admiral Drayson saluted his superior. Isstal smiled.
"It has been to long, Admiral." He returned the salute and began to walk. "Have your forces managed to locate Jileeak Station?" The GDI Admiral shook his head - no. "Not like Emperor Fearsons to hide his 'diplomatic headquarters', is it? Something is up."

By now they had reached the Admiral's ready room, and they sat together at the large table.

"What would you recomend, sir?"
"Simple Admiral, simple. I want you to find the Death Star - if the Emperor will not tell us where his diplomatic headquarters can be found, we will have to find out for ourselves."
"You sound like you have an idea, sir..."

Isstal smiled.

"Look at this," he passed a data-card to the Admiral.
"The Hoth System?" Isstal nodded.
"The sixth planet, to be exact. Think about it. First the Iron Fist Empire loses several vessels there, then we find out the system is closed to all hyperspace travel. Not only that, but the influx of materials to the system and the absense of one of TRE's main fleets, and the former Rebel base which would make an excellent base for his forces. And we already know that Hoth has the capabilities to produce starships, why not a Death Star?"
"You think he's building it at Hoth." It was not a question.
"Only one way to find out, of course."

OOC Actually IFE never lost ships there, the RP was considered null and void.

"Sir," one of the many communique officers reported to Emperor Fearsons as the last bit of garments was placed over his figure. He sighed and turned, his body now fully draped within robes and other spectacles. "Your signal is set."

That certainly lifted the man's spirits, and he immediately stepped forth, taking the comm link the young ensign had offered deilcately into his palm. He had been alerting each of his allies to meet him for a "secret" meeting so to speak. This specific transmission was meant for GDI.

"Greetings," he sent, hoping the transmission would be picked up, "this is your...ally, the Rogue Imperial leader, Emperor Fearsons. May I speak with one of your superiors?"

The transmission reached Alpha Blue's flagship only thanks to the dedicated system of hyper relay transfer stations placed by the GDI. Otherwise the signal would have reached the Supreme Commander's office on New Alderaan and gone no further.

"Glad to know we're all on the same side here," Isstal said, looking at the holo representation of Emperor Fearsons. "Admiral, would you like to handle it, or shall I?"

The GDI Admiral shook his head.
"I'll talk to the Emperor." He smiled and straightened his tunic, then depressed the 'Open Transmission' button.

"Emperor Fearsons, I am Admiral Hiram Drayson of the Galactic Defence Initiative. You wanted to talk to one of our superiors? I am here, but...

"A com system is no way to discuss matters as important as these. Perhaps a meeting could be arranged somewhere more... suitable?"

The emperor grinned, they so assumed that what he wanted to speak of was so important? No matter.

"Greetings Admiral Drayson, you read my mind. Unfortunately I cannot indulge information such as this over an insecure comm, if I could get you to meet me in the Clak'Dor V System aboard the Celestial Corrupter I would greatly appreciate it."

He hit the 'Pause' button on the console.
"I'm going, with your permission, sir." Isstal nodded. What needed to be done, needed to be done. The GDI Admiral re-opened the link.

"I would be glad to meet you, My Lord. I will make preperations to depart at once."

He smiled warmly at the welcoming of his offer.

"Thank you Admiral," he said calmly, his voice impassive, "after seeing your news report I was under the strange influence you wanted me dead. Perhaps I will be able to ease up my PeFauna support."

Deep in the Hoth system the single small ship hovers unknown in the asteroid belt, waiting for a response from its ten drone scouts.

Even as she looked at the control panel, a garbled message came through, followed by static as the probe self destructed.

The message was as simple as it was clear: there was a Death Star under construction here. The pilot keyed her com to forward the message, then eased the ship out of the asteroid field. If he could hold out long enough to plot his course out, he'd be safe...

"What is it?" Captain Ellyard asked as he entered the Dreadnaught Katar's bridge. The helmsman offered the intruding commander a durasheet as he got himself situated in the cramped area.

"Sir we have some ionic trail readings. We thought it was just a pirate or something, but it's a bit too close...and it's lingering in the asteroid field," the lesser man responded. Ellyard thought for a moment...he'd seen too much here on Hoth to just let this slip by. A security leak by the Empire recently was forced to put them on high alert infact.

"Why haven't the mines shot it down yet?"

"They will be down for the next two minutes, routine, monthly repairs."

"I see...send a transmission, see if you can't get them to surrender, we have an Interdictor in the area, yes?"

"Aye sir."

The captain smiled. "An Abolisher should be active near the asteroid field, leave him there and bring an Interdictor in to prevent any withdrawl."

"Yes sir," reported the helmsman, and with that the superior officer exitted. The transmission was sent.

"Greeting spy of an unknown faction. You are surrounded, an Abolisher field has been activated around you, and an interdictor is already turning on its wells. You have no chance of escape, surrender now and we shall not punish you severely...perhaps even send you back to your own government.

On Clak'Dor V...Emperor Fearsons awaited his emmissary.
