The familiar roar of a YT-2400's engines overhead could only mean one thing, the GreyHawk was near.
The large freighter hovered overhead, Vess at the helm, jauntily holding the ship over Ren's head. However the Guards below had noticed the looming ship over thier heads and in turn Ren. They began to blast at the hull with thier blasters.
Ren could make out Vess, peering out of the cockpit window as she manouvered the ship close to Ren's postion so he could leap into the rampway.
Calling upon the force, Ren lept into the air and landed, rolling into the Greyhawk's doorway.
<font color=lime>"I'm in, get us out of here!"
<font color=white>Thrusters fired and the Greyhawk blasted up and on into the atmosphere, away from the throng of furious guards.
After placing the ship on autopilot, Vessana came running from the cockpit and into Ren's waiting arms, spinning around in a firm, warm embrace.
<font color=red>"I thought I'd lost you!"
<font color=lime>"I thought I was gone for a minute there too." <font color=white> Chuckled Ren.
<font color=lime>"I've got the datapad, we can analyse the information now."
<font color=white>Plugging the pad into the ships computer, Ren tapped away and came up to the info screen containing the data of thier enemy.
<font color=lime>"Now let's see what we can see . . ."

Kamon's shuttle came out of hyperspace inside Hapan space. They were immediately hailed by a Hapan cruiser. The pilot transmitted their pascode and the shuttle was cleared to land on the planet.
They shot into the atmosphere and received a message for a designated landing pad on the planet. The pads beacon appeared, and the pilot brought the ship in.
When they had landed, Kamon grabbed his bag and hopped out of the shuttle. He walked toward the customs desk. There, he waited in line for his turn.
When it came, he approached the person behind the counter.
"What can I do for you?" The Rodian said.
"I need to know if a human male going by the name of Ren Janggar was here in the past coulpe of days."
"Do you have clearance for that?"
"No."
"Then you can't have the information."
Kamon drew on the Force and waived his hand in front of him. Rodian's weren't very strong minded.
"You will tell me."
"I will tell you. One moment."
The Rodian entered the name into his computer, and the machine began to scroll through the names. A few minutes later the computer stopped.
"We have two Ren Janggars on file."
"This one arrived from Ossus."
"Yes, he was here. He picked up a ship called the GreyHawk, and immediately left the planet."
"Destination?"
"Hapes."
"Thank you. Do you know where I can purchase a ship?"
"I can do that. We have a Lambda-class shuttle and a New Republic E-wing for sale."
"I'll take the E-wing."
"Will you be paying in Creds or by card?"
"Card."
Kamon handed the Rodian his card. The Rodian passed it through the slot and handed it back.
"The fighter is in landing pad J-101. It comes with an R7 astromech."
"Thank you."
Kamon walked through the building, then exited it at the door marked J-101. The ship was sitting in the middle of the pad. Kamon did a quick once over and was satisfied with its condition.
He stowed his bag and climbed in. He started the fighter up, called for clearance to leave, got the clearance, and lifted off. He punched the engines and shot away from the planet. The R7 droid gave him the coordinates for Hape.
When he had cleared the gravity well of Rodia, he entered hyperspace. He was making the jump to Hapes.

<font color=CC3333>Vess stood next to Ren, nervously pulling at her fingers, as her eyes scanned the stolen information. Her heart began to sink with ever word, her body trembling as her mind registered that there was nothing they did not already know on the datapad.
Names, more and more names of Hapan men and women that had turned against the Monarchy to follow the traitor and his dark ways. More than a hundred names to date, including that of her cousin Tevarii. But nothing more than that, only his last suspected location on Ut when Vess was suppose to have been assassinated.
" It's useless... It was all for nothing! It was suppose to be here, we were suppose to find him! We were suppose to get them back!"
Her knee's buckled beneath her, the overwhelming despair sucking her strength from her in an instant, and she fell to the floor. Vess stared ahead at nothing, her face horrified, as tears streamed down her face.
" They're gone." Her breath caught in her lungs and she started to hyperventilate. " Oh gods, they're really gone!"

The datapad showed nothing, this entire endevour had been pointless. Ren stared blanky into the glowing screen, trying desperately to scan for any details he could have missed.
His gaze broke when Vess collapsed to the floor, Ren rushing down to her.
<font color=red>"They're gone. Oh gods, they're really gone!"
<font color=white>Ren dropped to his knees and took his sobbing lover in his arms, cradling her against his shoulder.
<font color=lime>"It's alright Vess, we'll find another way, it's alright." <font color=white>Ren whispered soothingly in to her ear, stroking her hair. <font color=lime>"I'll find another way Vessana, I promise you, I wont rest until your children are back in your arms," <font color=white>He eased her head back from his shoulder gently and looked directly into her beutiful eyes, <font color=lime>"and they will be.You have my word as Jedi that I'll get them back."
<font color=white>He leaned forward, placing a gentle kiss of reasurrance on her forhead.
<font color=lime>"We'll find another way."

<font color=CC3333>Exhaustion had finally taken its hold on her after their escape from Hapes and for the first time in nearly six weeks she slept for more than a few hours.
In the darkness of her dreams she walked along one of the beaches on Hapes, her bare feet sinking into the moist sand. The seven moons of Hapes filled the sky and the Transitory Mists illuminated the waters so they glowed brilliantly in their light. She was alone, though in the distance she could make out a man walking steadily toward her.
She did not falter in her steps and in a matter of minutes she could see the face of the man. His eyes shone with surprise and pain, his familiar face forever etched in her heart.
They stood toe to toe and his hand reached up hesitantly to caress her face. " Y- You're alive?!"
" Yes."
Dakkon's face melted into a mixture of reliefe and confusion. " But you were dead?"
" I feel dead."
" But how - where have you been?"
" Alone, forgotten."
" I never forgot you."
" I forgot me."
<font color=lime>" Vess?"</font>
" Who's that?"
" A friend."
<font color=lime>" Vessana?"</font>
" I know him. Who is it?"
" A ghost."
A gentle hand shook her shoulder, pulling her from the dream and her sleep. <font color=lime>" We're there Vess."</font>
With a yawn she stretched out the painful cricks in her muscles and once again found herself look at a planet as it filled the transparasteel window. Bonadan... hadn't she just been there?
" Are you sure this is a good idea, Ren?"
<font color=lime>" Kas is a good friend and I would trust him in this. He might have connections through Vinda Corp. that could have access to the information we're looking for."</font>
She nodded absently as the Greyhawk established an orbit around the planet. " We're not landing?"
<font color=lime>" Too many people that could recognize you. It'll be easier if he meets with us here on the ship. I've already sent a message down to the planet for him, telling him I need his help with something and asking him to meet here. We'll know soon enough if he's willing to help."</font>

Kas sat in the back of his private Corinth speeder, built for luxury, and modified for protection. His fingers drummed a tattoo on the armrest as he watched a freighter come to rest at the public spaceport. ..Ren’s in trouble again I suppose. Why he couldn’t have just come to the office is beyond me… It then occurred to the former Admiral that Ren actually had only been to Bonaden once, and that when Kas had been advancing to captain.
Kas looked about him, the tinted glass hiding his face from those outside. Bonaden was a peaceful world, but spaceports were seedy places, where someone might be all too willing to slit his throat for a cred or two. You could earn a large rep for assassinating the Secretary of State.
His eyes turned back to the freighter. “Well, well, hello to Ren’s reason…” Kas took in the Jedi Master walking down the ramp, and the figure who stood in the freighter’s belly, waving. …If I’m not greatly mistaken, that was Vessana Darksword…” Vessanas face had been plastered up on every holonet news station for weeks because of the little… assassination…
Kas’ mouth twisted slightly at the thought. She was supposed to be dead… But then, Kas had been “dead” himself once… Unless it’s a relative. Ren is in thick with the Happens… could have picked himself up a royal girlfriend…
The Robed figure of the Jedi Master walked on, making a beeline for Kas’ speeder. Picked me up already… probably before he landed.
Kas moved down on the kryte leather seats, and flipped a drop down monitor into view. He spoke a few words, and scanned the text that displayed its self a second later. “Came from Hapes, eh?” Kas muttered… “Wonder if he had anything to do with yesterdays situation there…”
“Driver, move to pick up the robed man, and then drive as close to the freighter as possible. Whoever it is does not wish to be seen. Let’s oblige them, shall we?” The driver nodded his head, the corded muscles in his neck rippling they moved. Bodyguards, Seth insisted that he have at least one.

Kamon's E-wing came out of hyperspace near Hapes. He reached out with the Force to see if Ren was there. He wasn't there now, but he had been at some point. The only Force presence Kamon could feelk was Dakkon Darksword.
Maybe he can help. Kamon thought.
He was immediately hailed by the Hapan Defense fleet.
"Unidentified Fighter. State your name and business at Hapes or be destroyed."
Kamon opened a channel.
"This is Prince Kamon Vondiranach of the Tholatin Drive Yards. I am here to speak with Dakkon Darksword."
"Verify your name by sending your pascode."
Kamon typed in his code, the code he had been given by Dakkon for when Kamon came to Hapes, and sent it. A few minutes later he got a reply.
"Prince Vondiranach, you are cleared for landing on shuttle pad eight at the Royal Castle Landing Pad. Prince Darksword will meet you there."
"Thank you."
Kamon shot passed the fleet and towards the planet. He broke the atmosphere and headed for the landing pad. There, he set the ship down.

Kas had developed quite a taste for the more flamboyant things in his line of work, that much was clear from the luxury speeder.
<font color=lime>Damn, why did he have to bring guards with him?
<font color=white>Ren turned his head back to the ship, mentally motioning to Vessana to remain out of sight.
Turning back he sent another message out through the force, this time in Kas' direction.
<font color=lime>I need to see you privately. I'm involved in something of the upmost importance. If you trust me, if you know me at all, you'll come with me now.
<font color=white>Kas gazed through the tinted window's of his speeder, Ren's message ringing through clear in his mind.
Sensing the seriousness and urgency in his voice, Kas vacated the speeder and made his way to his friend.
Ren, shrouded in the mystery of his full Jedi Garb began to walk and talk to Kas, making thier way towards the mouth of the GreyHawk.
<font color=lime>"I'm glad you've decided to ditch the entourage for once Kas, I'm certainly not in the mood for attracting more unecessary attention. We've had our fair share of that already."
<font color=white>"What? What's the problem, you seem more tense than usual, even for a Jedi." Said Kas, feeling awfully perplexed.
<font color=lime>"All with good reason my friend." <font color=white>Said Ren, taking Kas into the ship.<font color=lime>
"Kas, I want you to meet Vessana Dionysus.
Vess this is Kas Katta, one of my most trusted friends."
<font color=white> Kas' jaw unhinged, almost dropping down to the floor in sheer dumbfounded amazement.
<font color=lime>"Like I said, we have a situation."

Kas closed his mouth, and extended his hand to Vessana. She took it graciously, but Kas could sense an air of tiredness about her. Kas spoke softly. “ Very pleased to meet you my dear, I thought that this pleasure had passed me by with your… assassination…”
As he spoke, his mind began to assess the “situation”. Ren must be running a lot of risks if he insisted on meeting in the spaceport. Disguising Vessana for a long trip through a teeming city would be a bit of a trick for even a Jedi Master, but it could be done. There was a high stakes game going on here...
Ren had come to a high-ranking VC official for help, so he either needed a large fleet, information, or a place to hide. Kas guessed that a place to hide was first, and information close after. The Rouge Jedi had a capable fleet, so unless Ren was thinking of taking over a few star systems… Besides, VC was not in the habit of renting its warships out.
“I take it you two wish a place to hide. Either that, or you want some information. I can provide shelter now, and information later.” Kas cleared his throat at Ren’s attempt to speak, and continued. “We have a law here on Bonaden. Unless you have a load of cargo, you cannot stay in your ship for an extended period of time. If you have cargo, guards will be assigned to your ship to aid you. We provide free lodging outside the spaceport for travelers to stay in. This law has helped cut back on terrorism attempts, murders, and thefts.
If you wish, you may come to either my city residents, or the country house. Depending on the length of time you wish to stay. For a short time, the city will do. If you wish long term shelter, my country house is yours for as long as you need.”
This time Ren did manage to get a word in edgewise. “But” That was all he got out before Kas placed a large hand over his friends mouth. “I won’t hear otherwise. I insist.” Looking at Vessana, Kas’ forehead wrinkled slightly. “You wish her not to be seen… would you be able to mask her presence for the short hop down to the Speeder? Once in there we will be able to go to the city residence without notice.” Looking at Ren, He continued. “Don’t worry, the bodyguard will not talk. He is quite loyal, gets paid much, and has a family to worry about. He’s almost considered a close friend of mine.”

<font color=CC3333>Vess reached out a hand and gently placed it on Ren's arms as he was once again about to protest. Her eyes showed their weariness, a sign that the weight of everything plaguing her was starting to take its toll. " Ren, love, we will draw more attention to ourselves if we attempt to stay on the Greyhawk. It's best we abide by the laws."
She turned to adress Kas. " Mr. Katta, you are most generous in offering us a place to stay away from prying eyes, and we will humbly accept that offer. If we will not be impossing, the City residence will be more than adequate as we must leave as soon as we have what we're looking for. Time is something we have very little of and the situation becomes ever graver the longer we tarry. Eveything will be explained, I give you my word."
The leather hood of her jacket was lifted up and over her head, basking her face in shadows. " As Ren trusts you, Mr. Katta, I will trust you as well."
Keeping her head lowered, her face hidden, she exitted the Greyhawk, giving Ren no more chances for argument as she stepped into the open for a brief moment before climbing into the speeder.
