(OOC: Just a few things before I get started here. Kamon I have some problems with your last post. Kamon doesn't and shouldn't know we're still alive, at all, period.
"Sir there's nothing left. If there was it wouldv'e been vapourised in the explosion."
I wrote that line for a reason, heck I wrote the whole post so Ren would be assumed dead, for the time being. If I said the remains wouldv'e been vapourised then they wouldv'e been vapourised.
As it stands Ren is taken to be dead by everyone including yourself. So please alter your post accordingly. Thanks)
The damage didn't seem half bad when he'd had a chance to examine it thoroughly. With a little bit of time tinkering they could be back in space in an hour at least.
He let out a little sigh before he began to work.
The last few weeks were some of the most trying of his life. Then to be hit with what could only be described as the sledgehammer of all visions, his task seemingly just became that much heavier a burden to bare.
His time in the bar back on Bonaden had given him the crucial time he needed to think, and come to the conclusion that whatever happened in the end, he would do everything in his power to protect his friend, his , one love. She was innocent in this entire ordeal, and it was his duty as a Jedi to protect the innocent at whatever cost.
He shook himself from his little daze and began to fiddle with the engine manifolds.
The entire time he was unaware of the goings on in the cockpit. Totally unaware that Vessana had felt a message from Dakkon.
He was not worried what would happen after the children were back in safe hands. He had forseen the outcome.
Ren smiled, and reaching into his pocket he pulled out a little portable holo-recorder he had purchased back on Bonaden. Activating the unit, it began to buzz and beep, recording the Jedi.
He looked into the beam, his voice speaking of the events of the trip, his feelings, and the events to come. The look on his face told a story all of its own. The story of a man finally at peace with himself, the story of a man who was lost himself, who at one time questioned his own faith in the galaxy, in those around him, and within himself. A story of how one woman, a woman who's predicament saved him from uncertainty and brought him back into a new light.
Soon, the story would be over, and this young uncertain man, who grew from a orphaned boy on Ithor, to a Rogue Jedi Master, would come to realise his life and his own destiny, and come to accept his path.

Kamon was so shook up by what he saw, that he lost all concentration on what he was doing. He was effectively out of it. And, because of that, he failed to avoid a chink of rock. The rock slammed into his ship and took out one of his engines.
Kamon still hadn't noticed what was goin on. Even as his ship careened toward the nearest planet and the darkside of the moon appeared in his sight.
Ren! How could you do this to me? He thought.
The ship careened toward this unknown moon. He could do nothing to stop the ship even if he was in control of the situation.
The ship entered the moons gravity welll and was sucked into its atmosphere. Parts of the ship melted off under the stress of atmospheric entry. The ship slammed into the planet. How would Kamon get off this moon? Could he get off this moon?
His vision was black, and he failed to notice if he had survived the crash. Maybe, no one would ever know.

Kas stood with four other Vinda Corp officials at the landing spot of the Happen shuttle. Dakkon Darksword stepped out, and stood on the ramp, looking about.. Kas watched the Hapen Prince, trying to guess what the man would do. He had just ejected fighters in chase of the Greyhawk, and had also accused VC of harboring galactic criminals… Perhaps. Perhaps I was. Then, perhaps I wasn’t. Dakkon spotted the line of shuttles, and made tracks toward them.

Repairing the ship had given Ren much time to think.
Time to think about how to escape the system undetected by thier pursuers, and the eyes of the general authorities.
The Jungle moon they were on was orbitting the planet Roonaden, the largest and busiest starport in the system. No doubt there were hundreds if not thousands of registered and non-registered transports heading in and out every day.
Ren concluded that if he could secure passage on a transport big enough to hold the greyhawk, that they could slip out undetected, while still remaining on a public route, and when he considered themselves to far enough away, they could slip out and resume on thier course, able to leave behind any trouble of getting followed.
Of course, with all the cash gained from Sienar Corp's profits he could afford to buy a completely new ship. However buying a ship would mean dealing with legalities and information transactions that he couldn't risk going through.
Luckily he had been able to gain access to a large enough ship to carry them through. The captain of the Lurdara,a Xiytiar-class transport had agreed to give them the safe passage out of the system and a guarantee of no questions asked, for a sizeable fee of course which Ren was just able to afford.
Apparently the captain was not unaccustomed to having the odd refugee or stow away not wishing to be found, abourd his vessel. So worrying about being exposed became a care of lesser priority.
An hour had passed, and they had travelled safely out of the system with no hassle. They would ride this transport for as long as Ren could afford, and he could afford quite a bit.
Vessana, weary from the hustle and bustle of the last few hours, was taking advantage of the thier time for a little rest. And Ren knew she needed it. Though she was not at peace, and he doubted she would ever be until this ordeal was over.
The young Jedi on the other hand was sitting on the boarding ramp of the GreyHawk, inside the main hold of the transport.
He hadn't had the slightest opportunity to meditate for a long time. He had to reach out into the force, to quiet his mind, and feel at once with the binding power of the universe.
His vision had created anxieties in his mind, but they had all been washed away with his realisation that the future cannot be changed.
Now, instead of dwelling on that, he focused on what mattered most to him now, Vessana's happiness.
Like he had repeated to himself countless times over, this was all for her. She had to survive, for her children.
He had fallen deeply in love with her, and no matter what, his love for her would always burn brightly on into the night. Even if he knew her love did not always equal his, she at least knew that it didn't matter to him.
His love would continue on in one form . . .or another.

Spotting the Vinda Corporation Officials, Dakkon made his way down the landing ramp and into the sunlight. It beat down on him as he saw the other two shuttles landing behind him.
He walked with a purpose, focused on his goal of sorting out this mess once and for all. His mind ran through what he would say, how he would say it as and why he should say it as he walked passed some parked speeders.
But suddenly the Prince sagged, leaning forward and placing his right hand on the front of one of the speeders. He felt something visably snap, the twang almost audible as he broke down. The entourage rushed to him, helping him up, fanning him. He rose up, his exterior determined, his mind and heart awash with pain and confusion. He had lost what was driving him, and rapidly was losing mental cohesion.
But still he strode on to the VC delegation, stopping a metre from the 5 men.
"Mr Katta, I believe you have some explaining to do..."

Dakkon's accusation was not really a surprise to Kas, but the blunt way in which he put it was. Eyebrows rising, He replied. "Me, explanation? My dear Darksword, I am not the one who sent fighters after a freighter, which was in orbit around a Vinda Corporation space planet. I am not the one who accuses a corporation of aiding and abetting galactic criminals. To me, you are the one who has some explaining to do, as well as an apology…but..." Kas waved to the speeders behind him "Not here. You obviously have some sort of debilitating sickness, your fall here was not by tripping." Kas looked at the smooth duracrete surface. Then, after looking Dakkon in the eyes for a few seconds, Kas turned and headed toward the speeders.

<font color=CC3333>Rest. All she needed was a little rest, but instead Vessana found herself sitting on the edge of the bed she shared with Ren staring out the viewport. The stars blurred together, streaking past the Greyhawk, taking them ever farther away from Bonadan.
And Dakkon.
She couldn't feel him anymore. Always before, in the back of her mind, she could close her eyes and see him as clearly as if he was standing right in front of her. But no longer. His face was fading from her heart, leaving a gaping whole of despair in its stead.
A trembling hand lifted to her face and she massaged her forehead in an attempt to rid herself of the feeling of hopelessness that was beginning to consume her.
The door hissed open and Ren stopped short just inside. <font color=lime>" I thought you were resting."</font>
Vessana shook her head. " I tried, can't." She wanted to burry it inside, to dig a whole and hide from him the unending pain she felt, knowing that he would feel it if she couldn't. But it was too overwhelming and she saw the look of concern fill his eyes and in an instant he was sitting next to her.
He placed a hand gently on her knee. <font color=lime>" We're almost there, Vess. We're getting closer to finding them every day."</font>
" It's not that." She sighed. " It's just... nevermind. It's nothing. I'm tired. Just need to try and get some sleep."
Ren looked down at his feet and took his hand off of her knee. <font color=lime>" I'm not stupid,"</font> he said quietly. <font color=lime>" I've been feeling it ever since we left Hapes. You still love him, don't you."</font>
She turned to look at him and at the resigned look on his face. " Ren, I-"
<font color=lime>" It's okay, Vessana. I know that if things were different we wouldn't be together, and I know you don't feel the same way that I feel for you, and I'm okay with that."</font> He smiled softly, reassuringly, and cupped her cheek with his hand. <font color=lime> " I've known for a long time that you and Dakkon shared more than anyone ever knew. But I don't feel that now. You've broken the soulbond, haven't you?"</font>
Vess nodded slowly, unable to speak as tears welled up in her eyes and silenced her voice.
Ren caressed her face, brushing her hair back behind her ear. <font color=lime> " I can't even imagine what you're feeling right now. It must be horrible."</font>
" I think horrible is still coming. Right now, it's worse. Right now, I'm just trying to keep from dying." Her control gave way and the tears spilled out from beneath her lids. She leaned over into Ren's lap and broke down into sobs. " I can't breath, Ren. I feel like I can't breath."

Kamon woke up from his nightmare. He was suddenly aware of extreme pain raditaing from his abdomen. He looked down and noticed cut marks on his skin from his restraints.
He looked outside as he undud the restraints. The planet, or moon, was extremely lush, but probably uninhabited. Not good for him.
He still couldn't believe Ren was dead, but he would have time to worry about that later. He climbed out, and gathered his equipment from his storage compartment.
He set up the small tent in very short order. Then he drew his lightsaber and went to get wood. When he returned, he started a fire and sat in front of it.
After downing a nutrition bar, he drew on the Force and went into a meditative trance. His body would heal itself, and he would have time to think about Ren.

Ren gently caressed the soft, dark hair on the back of Vessana's head. Stroking it gently and steadily.
He opened his mouth to speak, and then looked down.
The overwhelming feeling she gave off told him that no words he could speak would set her at ease.
Instead, he sat back, resting into the depths of his chair, and closed his eyes.
His mind drifted from this place, and out onto the force. Reaching through the cosmos, he was stretching out. Out to one man, who was in desperate need of relief. A tortured soul that was on the edge of collapse.
<font color=lime>Dakkon. Hear me Dakkon. I still exist. You must discontinue your pursuit. Only I can see my destiny through , noone else can do that for me. You know that I am right. As for your thoughts. They have troubled you as of late. Your thoughts dwell on an image from your past, something dear to you that was lost.
Dakkon, you must search deep inside yourself, and ask yourself, If you continue to look, will you like what you may find.
The memories you have will serve you well, if you dig further, pain can only come of this.
Search your feelings, you know to trust them.
<font color=white>An hour had passed before he had slipped into the trance. Ren eyes slowly crept open, and gazing down to his knee he could see Vessana had fallen asleep.
<font color=lime>"Sleep now my love, there still remains a long way to go."
<font color=white> Ren stood, gazing out of the window and watched as the stars streaked by, dancing far off into the night.

He frowned as the VC beaurocrat turned away, gesturing towards the speeders.
The Audacity!
He spoke as he walked towards the speeders.
"Your vehement counter accusations will serve no point Mr Katta, i know you were habouring the crew of the Greyhawk from Royal custody. That much already could see you extradited and tried for subversion of justice in Hapes courts."
He huffed, boarding the speeder.
"Perhaps that could all be avoided were you to cooperate with our investigation."
