Kid???
Misery had begun to wish that she actually had a name, She didn't really like the sound of kid, she'd work with it though.
The woman didn't think she'd ever find out her real name, well, that was until Jai raised a little spark of hope within her.
ID somewhere? Ship registry? Flight liscence? Credit card?
Where had her brain been! Yes! She could find out her name now!
"Hey! I didn't really think of that, good thing you're with me," she said, smiling sheepishly again.
As if she knew where to look, the Shadow Jedi's gaze fell to her waist and onto her tool belt.
Well, she didn't actually know it was a tool belt, she just felt something there around her waist area. She brushed back part of her black robe just slightly, a look of surprise crossing her face.
"Eh, seems I have some items with me," she said as she quickly glanced back up at Jai and then back down again.
It didn't take her long to find what she was looking for, it stuck out like a sore thumb almost. Just a simple piece of paper.
Misery removed the paper from her belt, slightly crumpled up, she'd obviously had it for a while.
She scanned the paper carefully, being sure not to miss anything. Her eyes glanced the paper for a few more seconds before she stopped, frowning a bit.
"Hmm, well, I found it..."
She paused, not looking up, but somehow knowing that Jai had a questionable look on her face.
"My name, I mean, it's Sandra Ravec."
Misery placed the paper back where she had found it.
"Well, there you have it."
She didn't know it, but she'd just revealed her name for the very first time ever, to anyone. She'd always gone by the name Misery, her real name had been replaced the day her parents died in a house fire. The Shadow Jedi had felt that to drop her real name would help her to forget that day, though it never did.
"....Raktus is it?"
Misery didn't wait for an answer as she walked right past Jai and on toward Headquarters. Somehow finding that some small bit of truth had bothered her, it was clear she hadn't taken it well.
