Again, the gungan had to think. Who was right? well, he thought he was right... but maybe the man who killed his parents was acting under an influence, like the theif. But the gungan did not know. "The law not right always. mesa think me right.... but mesa little confused...!"

"Mmm, its tough.

I have to say i agree with you. But, just because we think its right doesn't necessarily make it, obviously."

He finished his ale and moved onto its replacement, Lupercus taking a testing sip before taking a swig.

"But as a Jedi, shouldn't you serve the law? Seek to uphold it across the galaxy?"

"Mesa uphold most law. jedi seek to get rid of evil tho, not get rida complicated theify cases." Said the gungan. He was sure that he wanted to help rid the world of evil, but he was not sure that 'upholding law' was the best way of doing this. "Some laws can be bad" he added.

Lupercus smiled, impressed that the Jedi took the case for what it was, rather than simply falling into a verbal trap.

"Thats true, according to you. But what about others? What if the law is good for some but not others?

Your viewpoint entirely based on your position. Different people have different ideas of what is right. If this view point differs from yours, does that make them wrong?"

Said the gungan, he sipped his drink. He knew that things werent just black and white, but what shade of grey they were, he didnt know.

Lupercus remained impressed. Very few gungans actually maintained an intelligence level to see the miriad of grey that surrounded everything. They few who did quickly became Bosses.

And they all died when Lupercus destroyed Otah Gunga..

"Very true, very true."

Lupercus put the pint to his lips, upending it and sculling the contents. When he was done, he wiped his mouth on his white sleeve. Noticing the Gungan wasn't finished yet, he ordered another Ale for himself.

"So what things should be changed then, wise Jedi?"

"Well... uh..." said the gungan, thinking very very hard. "People shoulda... try to... theysa should investigate cases further than just what happened" then quietly he said, "of coursa it would help ify people were just nice... but dey arent. Also, most people commita crime because dey poor, poorsa people shoulda be helped." "But more than just Crime controlsa should be changed, sir." after a pause, he said "Lotsa true evil gets by." then he quietly said, very quietly "like sith, sir" hoping that he had not made a mistake, he did not know if the man WAS a sith... of course, there are so few siths that it was VERY unlikely... and the man was not talking like he was a sith... but frakutsk looked scared all the same

Lupercus laughed out loud at the mention of the Sith.

"You actually believe in them? Hah, i thought they actually taught the Jedi stuff.

The Sith are a fairy tale, to scare kids into obedience. I know i've used them as such a control device over others children."

Lupercus took a swig of his ale.

"And even if they did exist, there would be what, 2 of them?

How the hell are 2 boogymonsters going to do more damage to civilisation than all the organised crime in the galaxy?"

His voice was a little louder now, his words slightly slurred as it appeared that the ale began to take affect on the Hapan.

The gungan jedi scooted back in his seat, he had not expected the man's reaction to be so harsh. The gungan had been tought about sith. the evil Jedi that use the dark side of the force. quietly, he said "Yes, sir."

Lupercus gave the Gungan a sidelong glance.

"You know, for a Jedi, you really need to grow a pair!"

Another swig.

"And stop calling me Sir! I'm yet to do something deserving of your respect, and yet you act all subservient to me."

He stopped now, watching the Jedi with a slight smile.

"So how long have you been a Jedi anyways?"
