Xireon shifted slightly as the call of Sedriss came. With it, billowed forth the identity of the man from whom it originated; most important, of all this, came the affirmation of his identity. The son of Sadow, heir to the ancient Dark Lord of the Sith.
Heir to the ancient Dark Lord of the Sith who had seen personally to the fall of the Sith Empire, Xireon reminded himself. Sedriss was clearly to be treated with caution. Mind your thoughts, Sith... came Divus Kren's words. He is not to be trivialized in such a way...
"And why not?" Xireon replied to the empty room. "You know my thoughts, spirit, you know the many who have laid claim to this title and the few who have done it any justice. Remember not only the failings of those men to unite the Sith Empire, remember the success of this man's ancestor in destroying it."
The spirit seemed to contemplate these words for a moment. Then watch your thoughts nonetheless, even if you must treat this one with caution... but remember his power to unite as well as destroy...
Xireon begrudgingly nodded his assent. He could sense Sedriss' approach, sense him coming closer and closer, tearing through the catacombs. Finally, he emerged into the chamber in which the blue-skinned Sith sat. Xireon's almost scaled skin glistened in the pale light of the room, as did his claws. His clothing was nothing more than the tattered rags that hung loosely about him, and this, combined with his freakishly thin form, gave him the appearance of a living corpse.
"Sedriss Sadow," Xireon greeted the man.

The Dark lord stared at the sickly man, gazing at his rotten and emaciated corpse, knowing in his heart that this one was powerful indeed. Sedriss's blue eyes dripped with his inner rage, as he moved closer to the enigma.
You seem know of me but I do not know of you. However, I have felt your power. I wonder dark one, why do you hide and rot on this planet?
He began to walk slowly around the man, noticing his eyes looking intensely at the armor and sword he wore.
Yes, I am Naga's heir but that is where the similarities end. I do not wish to conquer the galaxy....yet......I first intend to rebuild the former sith empire, resurrecting it from its fiery grave.
You see, I believe all who do not serve the dark circle are heretics, and as such, a danger to our history. Join me and together we can rebuild and unite, making an impossible vision come to fruition.

"I know what the Dark Circle's aims are," Xireon snarled. "I helped found the group, after the Battle of Ruusan. And I reside on this planet because it is, and has always been, my home."
The Sith got to his feet, waving his hand at the ceiling of the chamber. "Can you feel them, Sedriss Sadow, heir to the throne of the Sith? Can you hear them? They swirl all around you, your ancestors, whispering and muttering the secrets of the future and past in your ear if only you are astute enough to listen." He began to pace about the room.
"This planet is the home to the spirit of even the very Naga Sadow of which you speak. Do you know what they say, Sedriss?" Xireon asked, turning and shooting a pupil-less glare at the man. "They speak in riddles and dead tongues, and they speak of you, Sadow. You, the child of prophecy, heir to the throne of Dark Lord of the Sith."
Xireon shook his head and glared yet again at Sedriss. His wild eyes gave him the appearance of being quite mad, yet those who dug beneath the surface could feel a cunning mind at work underneath. "How many men will claim to be Dark Lord of the Sith beforev one of them actually is? Your father, Diete Somir; Recon Klain, and the list goes on. Which of these were truly the Dark Lord?"
The Sith spat. "None. What is that title but a measure of your deeds? It is not a quantification of your bloodline. The Dark Lord of the Sith will re-unite the empire, as you say, and until then he is no Dark Lord at all." Xireon's eyes narrowed. "Remember that, Sedriss Sadow. Truly, you are heir to the title of Dark Lord of the Sith. But there is as yet no nation of Sith to lord over, which makes you nothing more than a Sith with a pedigree.
"Remember that," Xireon said again, "which so many Dark Lords have forgotten."

The High Priest of the Sith seems to form from the shadows, as if born of the darkness itself.
".. and what do these spirits, which I also hear, say of me, Overlord Jiren?"
The High Priest's crimson robes bore the ancient runes, written in blood, which very few who ever lived, and even fewer alive, could read. In his right hand rested the golden staff who's tip carried an ancient Sith stone of power. Upon his hands he wore the amulets of power which had been passed down through the Sadow line throughout millenia.

The dark lord listened to the creature, not angered but truly absorbing his words. Sedriss thought of the ghosts of the darkside, knowing they haunted this place, speaking in riddles.
I am worthy Overlord, do not concern yourself with that. Afterall, the Triumvirate hand picked me. I am the one who uncovered the treachery of Velil XCannoth and ended his miserable existence. I have taken Ziost, adding it to the empire.
Soon Korriban, Vjun, Dxun and all former planets of the sith empire will be united in common purpose. Then I will seek out those who do not believe in me, those who consider me worse than Naga. I will offer them a place in our empire, showing them that our true war is with the jedi.
His eyes narrowed, showing his anger.
You should come to Khar Delba. Your presence would assist our cause, forcing the weak to see that heresy is death! For too long you have been isolated.....now it is time to make yourself visible, so all can see the power which flocks to the Dark Circle.
Sensing his brother enter, he spoke to where he could hear.
Soon Overlord I will travel to Korriban, taking the trial, which all Dark Lords of the Sith since Simus have endured. I will then be blessed by those in the great valley of the dark lords, ascending rightfully.

"I find the prospect doubtful that you will recieve the blessing of the remaining spirits of fallen Dark Lords. The one they blessed still lives, it is doubtful they will bless another while that is the case."
The High Priest allowed his eyes to rest upon Jiren, his mind reaching out to touch that of the other.
He does not understand the task he has undertaken, nor how to go about it. He is to much like my father. Only power makes any sense to him thus far, yet he fails to understand what it truly is. He will need your guidance..

Xireon's eyes flicked from the High Priest to the supposed Dark Lord of the Sith. "Perhaps," he said, his gaze finally falling on Sedriss. "So long as you understand my presence is conditional on your performance as Dark Lord."

"As is mine."
The High Priest spoke coldly.
"I will go with you, however, not only my company but also your very eternal soul itself is linked to your performance."

Sedriss laughed, filling the room with his sickness, feeding off the darkness which dwelled in the room.
I do not work or build to impress either of you. I destroyed the Spurned on Khar Delba and liberated it from their poison. I have slowly built the sith empire back to life. A empire my father left in ruins.
I listen to the will of the Triumvirate and you are only part of that equation. As for you Maim, you show no allegiance to the Dark Circle, so your opinion or your support matters little, yet I value your thoughts, so much as they do not contradict or disturb the will of the three.

"You are a truly ignorant little whelp, aren't you? You dare to speak to me as such? You address me by my warrior name and not my title? I offer loyalty and aid to the Empire you serve and you spit upon it. You would do well to watch yourself, so called Dark Lord of the Sith. You and your followers have tred upon thin ground.
You do not hold true to the values of the Sith Nations of old. You are proud of your insignificatn conquest of one world. Even of many, it means nothing. You are weak, Sedriss Sadow. You are the only one who does not see it. You dececrated the Dark Lords of old by hailing yourself as such.
You are nothing, you have done nothing. Thus far you are little more than what I would expect of a second year apprentice. Your machines of war are far more important to you than our sacred beliefs.
You speak of your insignificant conquests as though they are important and meaningful. I have passed down to you a well of power which you waste. Grow beyond yourself, Sedriss Sadow, or die a worm."
