The Forgotten Past: Darkness on Ziost (Takeover by TDC)

He watched the elusive Dark lord weave his way through the room, almost disappearing into the very darkness his soul created. Sedriss remained impasssive, knowing that the slightest move could initiate a tidal wave of hatred, directed solely at him. However, he was not fearful, instead he chose to bask in the twisted soul of his father.

He listened to the words of prophecy slithering from the siths mouth, coming from a face that was identical to his. The Sadow bloodline was flourishing once again, bathing Ziost in the memories of the past and the visions of the future. His eyes widened at the sight of the original armor, dagger and sword worn by Naga Sadow.

He removed his own utilities and carefully put the ancient relics on his massive body. They fit perfectly, melding physically but also merging with his soul. It seemed as if the heirlooms retained some of Naga's spirit, infusing itself into the blood of Sedriss.

Maims words danced in his mind as a vision appeared, revealing a strong and united sith nation, standing tall and vengeful against all those who opposed them. The darkside swirled around him, as if it were blessing him with the powers and relics bestowed upon him this day.

I will unite the sith order into an empire reminiscent of the old. We shall emerge from deaths door as a fiery phoenix, reborn into this world and forged by anger and rage. I am honored to fulfill this task and any who oppose us shall die a heretics death.

His black silk robes gave a deathly look to the new Dark lord of the Sith, as his silvery armor glistened in the candle light. Kneeling before Lord Maim, his mind spoke.

Father, what shall become of you?

"I shall be a guide, a beacon to the Sith people. I shall fill their minds with wisedom and power which they have yet to imagine. I shall restore to the Sith nations the proud honor of a race of warriors. I will treat each who follows our religion and race as a child to me and be for them the Source of knowledge and power each has wanted for over these many years.

The old alliances and grudges will fall to make way for the new. Those who found me vengeful and despised me for attempting to rule them will find a new light in the path I have undertaken. They will come to see that no more am I interested in ruling the nation of the Sith but in strengthening it against the foes which spring up to destroy it. Those who have hated me may change their stance this day, those who have treated me as a God may also.

In the end I believe that all will see, though some may not accept, the wisedom in the path I have set out upon. In the end the Sith Nation will be all the stronger for my sacrafice."

Adorned in his new armor, Sedriss Sadow stood in the midst of his own destiny. His fathers words had presented him with the path, now he needed to follow it to success. He knew the road would not be easy, yet his mind and soul was determined at reunification.

I will be that leader father. I will lead by example and learn the knowledge Naga did. Soon, the jedi will be trembling at the feet of a unified sith people. I do not wish to have the clan wars of the past.

"Inquisitor Jas, please remain here with our host. I will go alone."

Nodding, the cloaked figure stopped, his movement now ceasing as he began to naturally meld with the shadows, "As you wish, Lord Sadow..."

In turn, Vance watched Sedriss continue alone, the Inquisitor glancing toward the man known as Lord Maim; from what Vance could gather, this was a meeting more important than merely Sith gathering. No, this was much more important, for the Sith gathered here were linked in destiny in more ways than one...

They were family. Two generations of powerful Sith, planning for the future of all Sith...

In some aspects, Vance was glad to know he would be aiding in the efforts of uniting all Sith; but in another, he was concerned about the means taken to ensure this alliance... No matter the leader, there would always be those who would rather come to leadership, whether through natural progression of rank or other, more sinister means.

It was the High Inquisitor's task to ensure that these sinister means were never to come about...

Once again, Vance's blue eyes moved to Lord Maim, the cloaked man's expression passive, there was no need for idle conversation which would only make waiting that much more of a task; but one thing did call for Vance to ask:

"Lord Maim... What are your thoughts on your brother's progression in stature...?"

The Sith Priest lowered his cloak's hood and looked to the man who spoke to him now.

"It matters not to me. So long as he does not interfere with the Sith Religion or my work. Should that come to past I would be forced to teach him a few things."

The High Priest looked towards the walls of the temple. Twisting his neck to the side, a sickening crunching sound echoed down his spine and throughout the chamber. Almost exactly as this happened the torches throughout the temple were set ablaze with eerie crimson flames.

"He is not before me or behind me, above or below me. Sedriss is now beside me, on an entirely different plane. What he does has little effect upon me and my work. Until it does, I will have no feelings one way or the other about his appointment."

Vance returned to his passive stature, taking note of what was said, as he continued to stand in silence. He would now await Sedriss' return, there was no need to speak from this point onward......

The newly decorated Dark Lord of the Sith emerged from the chambers resplendid in the original armor, helm and accessories worn by Naga Sadow himself. Looking into his High Inquisitors dark cowel, he could not see his face but he could feel his approval.

Greetings Lord Jas, the time has come and as such, I will fulfill my birthright. The source has given me the way, now I, along with my fellow sith brothers must forge the path.

Turning to his brother, he spoke.

Diete, I am now beside you in every way possible, as equals creating different destinies, the sith people will prosper and rise again. I assume you will stay on Korriban, continuing your study and perfection of the sith religion and sorcery?

"I shall do as I have in the past. I shall travel the galaxy and search out the Dark Force where I find it. I shall protect and teach our religion. However, I shall also guard the sacred planet with my very life. It now resides in the custody of the Jedi.. but not for long, I assure you that. It is safe and they do not interfere with me there."

The High Priest looked to him and his comrad.

"Go now, do the work you must and remember.. I am watching."

With that, he vanished in the the shadows and the crimson flames which danced upon the torches only a moment before.. went dead.

The Disciple followed Max shortly behind the more respected member, keeping his mouth shut but his eyes speaking backbone into maxs threats all the more to the commanders as he took information on the troops. The Sith turned to Max as the troopers started to board there craft..

"I take it we accompany the troopers into battle then..if I understood correctly, forgive me of my mistake should I be wrong"

Sedriss listened to his brothers words and nodded, showing him he understood it completely. His eyes watched as the shadowy priest vanished, like a whisp in the air, melding into the darkness.

Inquisitor Jas, we shall further explore Ziost for another is on planet that has value to the Dark Circle.

Activating his comlink, he spoke commandingly, yet with the voice a leader.

EzCode Parsing Error: color=red]Lord Chaos, leave a contingent of 500 elite Massassi and my personal ship, Sadow on planet. You will return with the fleet, with Tyr Daroth, to Khar Delba. I have forwarded your new mission their. Sedriss out.[/font][/i]

Like two darkside ghosts, Sedriss and Jas dissappeared into the shadows, searching and exploring.
