WT listens to the others talk and joke. He always felt awkward with new people, he wasn't real good a social things. He reached into his pack, and pulled out a large, red book. It had no title, and a gold line ran around it's edge. He opened it to about the middle section and began to read.
The Crystals of Fire(Open to TJC members)
Tec frowned slightly, and looked at WT and Amalia; he liked to read, but at the moment, he didn't feel like it, besides, he hadn't brought anything to read. So he turned towards Raven and asked, "When you first became a trainee or a Padawan, how often did you get in trouble?"
Hearing a question aimed at her, Raven was relieved. She forgot to bring any reading material, and she wasn't one who meditated, or even slept on long trips.
This time, she was spared from bordom.
"Believe it or not, I was a quiet student, really contemplative. Kinda like a monk, actually. I guess I wasn't much of a social person back then. Training opened me up more, really. Living isolated from people most of my life was really a disadvantage, and I didn't know many people, until I ran into my Master, of course." Raven grinned, indicating her own Master, who was busy reading something herself.
Raven had almost said Jedi Master, but, that wouldn't be very good for her, considering there were a couple who were accompanying them on this trip.
"I'd hate to ask, but you ever been to Coruscant? I haven't been around the galaxy much, with the exception of a training mission when I was still a padawan."

Tec grinned at his memories of traveling the galaxy. "Actually, I have been there, though my time was spent in many strange ways, and I wasn't there long enough to do everything I really wanted to. And why would you hate to ask? I don't see a reason you can't ask me anything; I guess you could say it's in my blood to be a person people trusy and depend on, sometimes, whenever they aren't too busy at least." At this his grin faded and became a frown, one that he directed slightly at Amalia, someone he hadn't seen in a while, and that he hadn't said more than two dozen words to since he had returned from his "vacation".
"Ah, I see. So, if I try to stare at everything at once, you'll understand. I hope nobody minds if I'm a tourist for at least a couple minutes once we get there. If only I brought a camera." Raven chuckled at her own joke.
"So, would you mind being my tour guide? I'd probably be lost within seconds upon arrival." Raven asked, grinning.

Wade really wasn't interested in other people. He never went to parties or other social gatherings,in fact he tried to avoid them entirely. With so many people on board Wade felt uncomfortable. So he,and his constant companion-the small floating droid Dee Four, spent most of their time helping the captain of the vessel do some minor repairs.
"Master Vox"!
"What is it,Dee Four"?
"I believe I have located the problem with the reverse-flow power coupling"!
Wade sighed. He had given Dee Four all the low-priority jobs because of his tendenancy to screw things up at the wrong time. Now he moved through the back of the ship to see what Dee Four had found now.
It was going to be a long trip.

Tec brought his attention back to Raven and returned her grin. "Oh no, I wouldn't mind in the slightest; depending on which part we go to, at least. Who knows, I might even do the same thing as you a few times myself." Tec then looked back to Amalia. "Amalia, what, exactly, are we going to be doing here to find what we're looking for?"

"It's looks as though we'll soon find out. Our ship has left hyperspace." Raven replied, and with a mischievious grin, and speaking in a whisper, she added, " If this trip would've been any longer, patience be damned for a few moments while the words [i] Are we there yet?</a> are uttered a few hundred times."
Hopefully, nobody but just Tec heard that, for it would really be a bad example of the padawans and an insult to fellow knights in the ship if she had actually started the time-honored most annoying question of long trips of any kind, though in this case, it would mean hyperspace travel.
Of course, that didn't mean that her shipmates were obligated as she was not to say those four little words, of course.

Tec chuckled lightly as he heard the words that had come out of Raven's mouth. He whispered back to her, "Waiting can cause problems sometimes, and waiting can be useful at the same time. Besides, it's only been an hour or two...I think." Tec looked into her eyes and he asked, "Was I supposed to hear those words come out of your mouth? I don't mean as a Padawan or fellow Jedi or anything, but in general."
