Lupercus smiled, knowing full well about Jaina's childhood as a smugglers daughter.

"Well, you turned out well enough didn't you?

Skilled at all she does, successful as well."

"I suppose..."

Jai trailed off and absently played with the hem of the shirt she was wearing. Seemingly off in a world of her own, she stared blankly down at the floor.

"But skilled and successful...they don't seem worth it sometimes. I live for smuggling, don't get me wrong, and I couldn't do any other job better than this one...but...I just wish sometimes that Leia would approve, and Luke too...Even Jace and Ani hardly speak to me. It's like, since I quit my training, that I'm not good enough or something. It's mostly me and Dad...and the smuggler and merc friends that I have...and you."

She said that last part quite fondly and smiled up at him softly.

Lupercus smiled broadly as she finished.

"Of course you're good enough! Hey, you landed me didn't you?" He joked.

Jai could'nt help but smile.

"More like you landed me. I was quite set on flirting with Kas Katta before you tore me away, swept me off my feet like you did. It's all your fault that I'm not respectably dateing a good downhome Jedi boy."

Lupercus nodded, his thoughts drifting back to that night on Hapes.

"Heh, thats true, but could you really settle someone like that? You wouldn't have done half the things we do with him!

Jedi are remarkabley straightlaced when it comes to all things dirty!

And i'd imagine your talents from last night would have been wasted on him."

"Hey! I'm good and downhome too!"

They both look at each other a moment, and Lup gave Jai a skeptical look.

"Ok...ok...I've never been downhome. But I could've been ok with Kas, yet your right. I would bet a good week's worth of run salaries than your much more fun than Jedi are in...certain areas."

Jai smirked slyly and wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him down like she was going to kiss him. ...Only to give him a quick peck on the cheek and pull away, bounding playfully up to the cockpit.

"So how close are we? Should I be gettin' dressed? What's Cali-whatever like? Do I need to get my swimsuit?"

Lupercus smirked, following her.

"I guess, although i don't plan on using one! We are going to be entirely alone on the high seas of Calamari. This yacht is modified to go on the sea, as well as under it.

Its going to be alot of fun..."

He winked suggestively.

Jai laughed and shook her head at him, "Is that all you think about, Lupercus!? Gah, your so bad!

And I'm not about to go skinny dipping...anyone would come by and catch us! And that would be....well, just awful. I'd die!"

"Not so my sweet!

The few small islands i've found are uninhabited for hundreds of miles all round. Noone will see a thing!

Except me of course, and there won't be anything i haven't seen before!"

Jaina gave Lupercus a mocked scowl and thwapped him.

"You can do what you like, Darksword, but I'm wearing my new two-piece."
