Kahn could tell that Korban was pondering on something, but he said nothing of it. It would be rude to inquire about thoughts that were probably none of his business. The question as to what he was doing was a reasonable one, as he had asked the same thing. And yet the Jedi could find no simple answer to it. He wasn't merely taking a walk, his inner self told him. It was something more than that, but he couldn't figure out just what. Knowing that the stranger probably wouldn't be enthralled to hear him mull over just why the frell he was out here, Kahn decided on a relatively neutral answer.

"I don't know about you, my friend, but I enjoy the somewhat traditional breakfast, eggs, pancakes, and the like. As for my reasons of being out and about....just enjoying nature, I suppose."

OOC: No idea if they even have eggs or pancakes in Star Wars universe, but oh well. I'm not up on Star Wars gourmet.

OOC: I am not a stickler for those details.. besides, what is a galaxy without pancakes?

<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> "..I suppose."<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->

Tyscio's eyebrow perked up at the slight hesitation. He didn't quite read a lie but merely a slight evasion.

<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Interesting. Now what would a Jedi have to be evasive about?<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->

"Eggs and pancakes eh?" He thought about it for a moment and then glanced over at the rather patient man.

"Well, Kahn.." mouthing the man's name as if putting it in his memory, " a nice name by the way.. one with many meanings. So, what is your first name?"

Then he grinned again, "Or your last?"

OOC: Exactly.

IC:

"Kahn is my first name. I don't have a last name."

He paused for a moment, realizing that that was a bit odd. However, he did not really feel like delving deeper into his past at the moment. Although the Jedi had come a long way from blocking out memories completely, he still was more private person when it came to discussing his past. Now, he let his facial expressions set back into a slight smile. After all, it took less muscles to smile than to frown.

"Long story. You grow up around here?"

He wasn't sure, being unable to tell by the look of Korban. Not that it really mattered; he was just making conversation.

<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Doesn't have a last name and it's a long story...

Yes, my Jedi companion, aren't they all?
<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->

"Grow up around here? No.." his smile matched Kahn's.

<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Going to smile at each other are we?<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->

"I am Caprician." he finished. "In fact, ,my home and personal transport are not far from here... I was thinking of being adventurous today and find breakfast somewhere other than Theed. Tell me, are there any other cities on this planet worthy of two adventurers such as ourselves?"

The Jedi shrugged. He didn't enjoy cities that much, preferring to be away from the hustle and bustle of them. However, every once in awhile, it was nice to have a change of pace.

"I'm not really an expert in that area. I'm always up for a new experience, however."

Kahn noted that Korban's thoughts remained under a veil, whether because of Force abilities or natural habit. The Knight was glad that he didn't have to deal with thoughts being broadcasted around.

The Jedi shrugged in response and Tyscio's grin grew wider.

"Not a city bloke hmm?"

He motioned the Jedi to follow as he walked back to his home.

The Caprician's home was one story, made almost of wood and stone, metal reinforcement braces being hidden out of site.

The rear sliding door opened automatically to admit Tyscio and Kahn and a blast of cool recycled air quickly evaporated the humidity.

The home was orderly and neetly arranged, though not overburdened with trinkets. The few odds and ends visible then were singled out at having some type of sentimental value..

Shards of a staff resting on a table, an Ewok ceremonial headgear, a lightsaber intricately engraved and shaped resting on a mantle.

The place was modest enough and Tyscio led the Jedi to a side hall where, as the door opened, a small transport was resting..

"You know how to fly one of these?"

Although Jedi prided themselves on knowledge of the galaxy, it was impossible for one being to aquire all of the information on customs, species, and the like. Kahn had moderate piloting skills, although he had never had much interest in following it as a profession. He wasn't good enough for that, anyways. The Knight could take off, steer, set a course and land. That was good enough for him. Looking at the transport Korban was gesturing to, the Jedi paused a moment before responding.

"I think I could, though how well I'm not sure."

Tyscio's eyes narrowed (starting at the transport) as he heard an almost imperceptible disinterest...

He turned to the young man, "Kahn? Is there <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> anything<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> that you are interested in, that you enjoy doing? That you enjoy seeing?"

Noting how perceptive Tyscio seemed to be, the Jedi wondered a bit about the lightsaber he had. Realizing he might have presented himself as an ungrateful guest, Kahn was careful with the answer to Korban's question.

"I'm sorry if I don't seem very interested in your things, Tyscio. It's been awhile since I've been a guest for someone, and my people skills are a bit rusty. I enjoy nature, a good sparr now and then, and meeting new people, I suppose."

He paused, coming apon a realization.

"Actually, right now, I'm not really sure what I enjoy. I'm just..searching for something, I suppose."

Tyscio held up his hand, "No apologies are necessary Kahn. And you don't have to be interested in what I am, (though breakfast is interesting me more and more), but seeing a Jedi without focus is not really how you project yourselves... And you do seem.. preoccupied."

He slapped a hand on a panel and an opening presented itself.

Tyscio took the pilot's chair and as Kahn followed suite in the passenger's chair, he swiveled to face the Jedi and held up three fingers, counting them down..

"Nature, sparring and maybe meeting new people.."

He gave a wry smile. "I suppose if those new people attempt to kill you then you wouldn't enjoy meeting them.."

"So is that the sum of Kahn? Is that you?"

He turned back and activated the thrusters and flipped switch that opened the roof over the transport.

While he was punching buttons he talked, "So if someone says, 'Do you know Jedi Kahn?', they say, 'yeah.. he's that guy that likes nature, new people and sparring'...that would wrap up your life?"

"Forgive me but that sounds like Bantha fodder.." he grinned and the ship rose.

"Tell me, Jedi.. and I am assuming by your attire that you are a Jedi, (cause if you're not I am going to be embarrassed and breakfast is on me).. If you had the power to go anywhere you wanted, right now.. Where would you go? and why?"

The transport hovered in the air as Tyscio waited for the man to answer.
