(OOC: Hope you don't mind me joining this far on guys)

The Grayhawk jumped out of hyperspace with a little more than engine trouble.
His father's YT-2400 freighter had never been the most reliable ship in the Galaxy. Ren had neglected to take her in for routine maintanence for some time and he was now paying the price.

His Journey to Yavin IV would have to wait for now, the possibilty of him breaking down in the middle of nowhere was taking presidence.

Luckily, Ren had just dropped out of lightspeed before his hyperdrive motivator blew. Ren checked his nav computer to find out just in where the blazes he was. Ren called up a schematic of the surrounding area noticing that tatooine was the only planet that he was able to set down on. With his current standing the Hutts and bounty hunters, his current predicament indicated he had no other choice but to land.

A sudden loud thud rocketed the Grayhawk off of it's vector. Tapping wildly at the controls Ren realized his hyperdrive motivator had blew and had knocked his guidance system totally out of whack. Ren had plotted a course to one of the settlements where he could conduct repairs but know he realized this wasn't possible.

Ren now had to contend with a minor fire becoming a major one and landing his frisbee of a ship.

Soaring uncontrollably into Tatooine's atmosphere Ren could do little to settle the Hawk's rapid descent, and so grabbed the controls and prayed for a soft landing.

The Grayhawk came crashing into the sand with an almighty thwack. After skidding across the sand, the GreyHawk came to a halt on the edge of a small dune. Ren was lucky to be alive, if the Greyhawk was another shape it would have crumpled into a burning heap instantly. Ren Janggar often complained about how he hated the ugly looking Disk-like shape of the Hawk, but he re-evaluated his feelings about it's appearance after it saved his life.

After Ren managed to put out the small fire in the back compartment, he walked into the cockpit and took a look outside.

A storm was raging, a storm so thick that nothing was visible beyond the duraplaste window.

He walked over to the comm panel, fiddled with it and realized it was fryed. Instead he got down on the floor and sat on a medatative postition, reaching out with the force in the hope that someone would notice his presence and come looking.

Tyscio quickly filled in his hairy companion as they continued their trek towards the city from which they came.

<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> From where you were plucked..<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->, Tyscio thought as his mind suddenly put feathers on the wookiee.

It was not a pretty sight.

As he was beginning to speak of his ship docked there and the easy transport it would make to locate his missing Jedi fellow, both travelers noticed a ship falling from the sky, heading into the middle of a dust storm still distant.

<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> It looks like it'll be on the city by nightfall<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->, he thought and said as much drawing only an acknowledging grunt from the wookiee.

As they continued toward the city, he felt the slightest of stirrings within his mind as he suddenly realized the pilot of that craft was force sensitive.

By Tyscio's leanings, the man..<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> man?<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->...yes, man..waiting for rescuing, which seemed odd.

<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Usually these guys are jumping into the fire.

..A fire that seems to follow them..
<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->, he finished wryly.

When he and the wookiee liberated his small Caprician transport, he asked, "There's someone looking for help thattaway. It's on the way to Kahn...so.?"

Tyscio shrugged and couldn't help but feel he'd been drafted into the "Tatooine Volunteer Rescue Department".

The man through the wookiee a grin, "Maybe he'll buy you lunch..no," his grin got wider, "..<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> us<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> lunch."

As the wookiee mulled over his words, Tyscio asked, "By the way, what was your name?"

<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Tyscio, my boy, you make friends in the strangest of places.<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->

Azak grunted and looked around the cockpit of the small Caprician transport. His eyes centered on the ship's computer mounted in the main console. Leaning over it, he explored a few different menus until he found one he could safely type text in. He then typed 'Azakhaban' in and pointed at it with an affirmative growl.

The Caprician turned and looked down at Azak's entry, then back up at the Wookiee, who rumbled a question in the Wookiee tongue and pointed at Tyscio himself, looking at him questioningly.

<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> He does not understand the Wookiee tongue, and I can speak no other... things could be a little difficult for a while... <!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->

Hanna had found that as she looked down at her hands, that she was still holding Kahn's extra lightsaber just as firmly as before.

She found that she was sweating slightly, probably out of fear and slight nervousness. She had remembered what Kahn had told her minutes before they had run across to get where they were now, but some how that still had not been good enough and running closely toward the huge worm like creature only seemed to had made her fear grow.

Though it was gone as quickly as it had come, her heart beginning to beat slowly toward its normal rate. Nervousness was still heavily set on her face however as she looked from Vonta to Kahn.

"What happens now?"

She looked around, almost frantically searchong. It was much more darker down in this part of the cave. Hanna did not think that their lightsabers would even be allowed to provide them with enough light to get them through what journey that they had left within the darkened cave.

"It's much too dark in here..."

The Jedi Knight had been silent, pondering over their current problem. If they attempted to save the Tusken Raiders, then they had the chance of mortally wounding the young sarlaac. And while Kahn wasn't very fond of the creature, he knew that all life was precious. At the same time, he knew that he could not in good consience allow the Sand People to die.

A ripple in the Force took the Jedi's attention away from the situation at hand for a moment. It was a fellow Light Sider, that he was able to make out. The signature was unfamiliar, but the message seemed to be one of distress. Well, there wasn't much Kahn could do for his brethren at the moment. No, first he had to get the himself and the two Padawans out of danger and solve the existing problem of the sarlaac's victims.

Hearing Hanna's voice, Kahn turned towards her. He could see that some of the fear still remained in her; that was not a good sign. He would have to take care of this first, before they decided what to do about the young Tatooine native beast.

"The dark cannot harm you, Hanna. You have to relax. We're out of immidiate danger; there's nothing else here that can harm us that we have not already faced."

Kahn paused. He would have to work on this in training with Hanna; fear could be as potent as a blaster bolt to young Jedi.

"As for what we do now...."

Suddenly, the Jedi had an idea.

"I think we can save those who reside in the sarlaac without hurting it too badly. If we can irritate its stomach enough, it will expel whatever its eaten. Since there are still several womp rats around, it will still be able to get the food it needs and will not starve."

The idea wasn't very appealing, but then the Jedi-lifestyle was very seldom easy.

Ren was realizing that sitting around meditating wasn't going to do him much good in his current predicament. Whilst in his concentration he had sensed a group of Force user's nearby. He wasn't able to pinpoint thier location as his force skills where no where near as attuned as any fully fledged Jedi.

So, he climbed to his feet and collected his things, a walking staff, a small blaster pistol, and his Lightsaber. Wrapping himself in robes to protect himself from the harsh sandstorms of the Tatooine desert.

Ren stepped out of the Grey Hawk and circled his ship surveying the damage suffered in the crash.

The hull was mostly intact which was a good sign, however his ship had dug itself almost halfway into the sand, Heck knew how he was going to get it out of there!

Ren kept his lightsaber ready at his side at all times, knowing of the risks of Sandpeople and other desert creatures. Using thier presence as a sort of beacon, Ren set off in search of the others.

Tyscio grinned, "I'll call you Zak. And I see you know how to type. This is good. I am Korban."

He pointed to the pilot seat, "Now, can you pilot a transport? Caprician design isn't much different from others. I need to navigate our course to both force users."

He paused. "Unless you are force sensitive. If you are, you may be more than I am which could come in handy."

Tyscio's eyebrows were raised inquisitively, if not a bit hopefully.

Hanna was young, She wondered if she was ever like that as a young padawan. Right now she had other concerns. She wanted to get on with her journeys but she was here now and her quest came second to protecting the innocent and her fellow jedi.

"Well if the creature uses acidic cocoction to digest the beings. Then a simple light explosive should force it to disgorge it's meal."

Vonta wanted to know what she was getting her self into. She pulled a small communicator from her belt and handed it to Hanna. "Here this well let you keep in contact with me. "

Before any one could ask Vonta seemed to shimmer like a ghost. She phase shifted her body so that she was able to slip between molicules harmlessly.

She ran almost on air into one of the mouth's on the sarllac. Passing through the tenticles that sought to entrap her only to find nothing to grasp.

She Walk in to the Mouth of the beast. The edges were covered in surratted teeth that face inwards. Nothing that got in would be able to get out that way with out being sliced to death. She Went farther into the creature and found her goal. Several sand people pinned to the wall with tenticles. Their desert close protecting them so far. But the stench of acid Burning through carbon was clearly visible to her.

Going even farther down she found the main stomach. The earlier meals of the womp rats were all ready being digested down here. THey hadn't much in the way of time. And vonta could not maintain the phase shift much longer. She relayed the description of what she had seen to Hanna and Kahn with the com link.

Azak growled a hello to Korban, and plopped into the pilot's seat with an affirmative grunt in response to Tyscio's piloting question. The ship obviously had not been built with Wookiees in mind, and Azak found the pilot's station to be slightly bit more than cramped. But he said nothing, and studied the panels for a moment before taking tentative control of the ship.

"...Unless you are force sensitive. If you are, you may be more than I am which could come in handy." Tyscio was saying.

Azak shook his head. He was not Force sensitive, and had never wished he was. Even in tight situations, the Wookiee had always been able to easily fend for himself. After all, he was a Wookiee.

[It seems then that I cannot navigate in this case, but I can fly. Plot our course, eater of rancid things.]

The Wookiee chuckled and glanced at Tyscio expectantly.

Kahn could feel that Vonta was having trouble maintaining her control within the sarlaac. His first responsibility was to the Padawans. Speaking into the commlink, he reached out with the Force as well to link to Vonta, hoping to give her some of his energy.

"Good work, Padawan. Now get out of there and we can decide what to do next."

OOC: Argh, sorry, crappy post. I couldn't really think of anything good.
