"Repair any and all damages to the mines, throw down your weapons, never return to Kessel and we'll not mercilessly slaughter you."

"Have they replied yet?"
"No sir. In fact, no activity has occured on the ground in a while."
"Well then, continue bombardment." The trio of warships once again brought their guns to bear down upon the planet, the various turbolasers took aim on virtually the exact same cooridinates--one of the fortifications on the surface-- and fired another volley of high-powered craft the them.

"Enemy forces. We surrender. Do not fire. The mines have received no damage, just the garrisons. We will not fire on you. Just get us off this world and we promise that we will not return here."
The troops stayed in the ground, but stopped setting up defences.

Within two hours of receiving the message, numerous large Battle Horn Transports, modified to carry troops instead of cargo, left the Farquak System, onroute to Kessel.
A few days later, but still within the week deadline, they arrived in the Kessel system.
"Farfelan forces, this is the Commander Freeman of the Galactic Coalition. We are here to take the troops back to the Galactic Coalition space. You have our word that we come in peace. We await clearance"
The transports slowly drifted forward, but did not power up their engines, weapons or shields.

The Farfalen forces had been built into five major task forces. The interdictors of the fleet, had set up in a box around Kessel, with a compliment of a Shoto and two Cutter frigates. The rest of the fleet was set into a simple V to meet the visitors.
"Coalition Forces, You may proceed to pick up your men. One ship at a time." Rang out an unidentified Officer over all comminication bands.

"We copy Farfalen."
Immediatly a transport headed down towards the planet, shields and weapons still inactive. GC troops on the planet immediately started pouring out of the mines towards the landing zone of the transport. It was soon full, and it sped away, heading back to the edge of the system. Then another transport went down into the atmosphere, and another, untill they were all full and were preaprign to jump back to Farquak.
"Galactic Coalition transports requesting permission to leave the Kessel system."
They waited their, their course laid in. They wanted a response before leaving, to ensure that none of their actions could be taken in a hostile way.

"Ensign, is the course laid in?"
"Yes sir."
"Then jump us out of here."
"Right away."
The fleet of transports left the area, with all the troops onboard. Farfelan had complete control over the Kessel system.

The
Zen floated past a "Bird of Prey", as it launched a shuttle full of engineers in zero-gravity suits to retract a computer core.
"Twenty-four destroyed," remarked one of the techs, "and so far four haven't had a core. Maybe we'll get lucky."
"Yeah. Maybe." Said his friend. The duo along with four others were scaling the interior of one of the ships, there was a gaping hole as to where the bridge used to be. Bodies floated past them and shrapnel was in abundant. The team had personal floodlights and were doing just that--flooding the light into the ship.
"Sir!" exclaimed a crew man via comlink to his superior; "I think I found it. It's a little damaged but that looks to be all exterior."
"Excellent. Get everyone there now."
-----------------------
Back aboard the
Zen, a crew of about two dozen worked round-the-clock to decipher the data and repair it to full usage. The job wasn't that difficult but time consuming. By the time they finished, it had been several hours and several cups of stimcaff. Although the end result was worth it.
"Admiral Zen. We have the report."
"Yes, go ahead."
"We have full maps of the Outter-Rim's planets, planetary defenses, as well as technical readouts of certain technologies."
"Excellent. Try and fix up some of these BOPs to be towed. I have an idea."
