The team found themselves pinned down in the hole in the wall, a deadly stream of fire picking away at their cover. Over the roar of fire, J-1 shouted to his team.
"Two Destroyers, their shields are up! We're out of high explosives, any ideas!?"
The team looked baffled. They'd expected high security, but Destroyer droids were something else. They still had a few smoke grenades, but they had plenty of other sensors. J-1 checked his wristwatch, they were running out of time...
The two droids kept pouring fire into the wall. Then, all of a sudden, something rolled between them. They turned to see that it was a grenade, and though they were useless against droids the pair still paused for a fraction of a second.
Long enough for J-6 and J-3 to come barrling out of the hole in the wall, clutching melee weapons. Passing through the shields, they grappled the droids in hand to hand combat.
"Move!" shouted J-1, and the other three agents ran past the fight, vaulted up a flight of stairs (hopping nimbly over the laser-tripwires, revealed by the smoke grenade) and continued into the base.
*Cough cough*

The brave and dangerous move by J-3 and J-6 allowed their partners to leap beyond the two deadly droideka, their unconventional style temporarily neutralizing the deadly droids.
J-6, a huge powerful figure seemed to be able to handle the droideka, and seemed to have the situation under control. However, J-3 was steadily losing control as the droids powerful servo-motors where gaining the upper hand. With a final exertion, the droideka threw J-3 backward, and raised its blaster cannons in preparation for a lethal barrage at the stunned agent. The question was, what was J-6 going to do?

Meanwhile, the other agents had progessed into the heart of the hexagon, and were nearing Rico's private office. They had avoided or dispatched with, everything that millions of credits of security technology had thrown at them, and were very close to their goal. Now there was but one obstacle last obstacle to overcome, a desperate measure useful only in last ditch situations. It was sitting, waiting for the right trigger to activate it....

As J-6 tore into the other Droideka's backside with his claws, his leg was painfully slashed by a spike on the arm of the first droid. He fell to his knees, as both droids turned to fire. But a vibro-dagger spun out, planting itself in the head of one droid. The other turned, and got a faceful of screaming Aqualish in its' face. The two droids and the two agents, both still functioning, felt a sudden tactical imperative to get behind cover and reassess.

Outside the tower, however, things were far calmer. J-5 had finished running the last of his little bugs to mess with the security system, and was carefully removing anything that would suggest that it had been specifically a Coalition agent that had come here. But just before he unplugged the wire he'd attatched to the security system, there was a blipping from his monitor.
It took a few moments to realize what it is, and J-5 swore under his breath. He scrabbled quickly for his comm-unit.

J-1, 2, and 4 were almost there. Stealthily stepping over suspiscious floor panels, avoiding the sight of laser-activated defences, and cracking the last few routine locks, they finally found the last doors within their sight, at the end of a short corridor. J-2 took a step just as their comm-units turned on.
"Don't step in there!" Said J-5, hysterically "Its' a trap!"
And in the following hush, all heard the near-silent sound of a descending floor panel, under J-2's foot.
"Holy sh-"

The two droideka had pulled back in an attempt to gain the distance that would give them a superior edge int he skirmish. Unfortunatly, the Coalition agent's had sidestepped out of the hallway and moved into ajoining rooms. The element of surprise plus the short ranges involved in those rooms would give the agents a decided advantage, and thus the droid's easily calculated that following the agents would be a poor choice of action.
Instead, they would hope to pin the Agent's down.
One of the droids moved out into the hallway, and quickly transformed to its ball state. It rolled down the hall, and took up its position on the far enod of the corridor, while the other dorideka (the slightly damaged one) took up its position block further advance. In theory, they could produce an inescapable crossfire..

The floor panel clicked and with a sudden force, gravity reversed itself. The panel was the final security measure before Rico's private office- it was turned off when the security was normal, but was quite active in an emergency situation such as this.
Using repulsor's in the floor, the section of the corridor where the agents were standing suddenly became quite discombobulated. Agent's flew up toward the ceiling, and were slammed against the hard surface, then fell further downward. The devices were powerful, and if possible would pin lighter agents to the top od the corridor, but if one of the heavier agent'stried hard enough, it might be possible to get beyond the field, though a bit of assitance might be required.

J-3 and J-6 knew what was going on. They quickly rolled back into the hole in the wall, well before the gentle pitter-patter of deadly laser-fire.
"What do we do?" said J-3 "We can't possibly move forwards, and we can't go back."
J-6 shrugged "May as well pin them down for now." and with that drew his pistol. "On three."

J-1 had to move fast. Just in time, before the Sh- had come out, he rolled back out of the room. But J-2 and J-4 were not so quick, and the Repulsors knocked them into the air.
There was nothing J-1 could do right now, and all of them knew it. The two were pinned, in a quite painful but not yet fatal way. Skirting the edge of the Repulsor field and keeping his eyes on his compatriots, he made it to the far door, clicked it open, ran inside-
-and rolled, as he came immeadietly under fire. Two super-battle-droids, old but still top-of-the-line fighters and guards, sprayed precision fire at him. He kept rolling until he was behind another pillar - there seemed to be a number of them around here.
He was in Rico's office, and he was COMPLETELY pinned down.

I repeat, COMPLETELY pinned down.
...Yeah... still pinned down here.... still very pinned down... with the pinning.

(I hope you don't mind if I at least write a little for this thread. I'm anxious to get it going, you see, so if you want me to edit it away I will.)
J-1 gritted his teeth, listening to the rythmic pattern of fire the two droids were sending his way. After determining the pattern (he hoped), J-1 gritted his teeth, and dived.
He was right. Just as he did so, both droids were reloading, and J-1 shot one through the head, which collapsed. The other was quick to return fire though, and J-1 scrambled up a staircase overlooking Rico's office. The droid was bright though, and J-1 barely had the time to wonder why the rythmic fire had stopped when he felt the staircase shake below his feet.
The droid was firing rockets at him, and one had just blasted a portion of staircase nearby into rubble. J-1 got to his feet, and straight ran up the stairs, as another rocket crashed into the wall, the blast nipping at his heels.
He arrived at the top of the stairs, to find there was nothing more then a small ornamental overlook onto the rest of the office and a window. A third rocket could be heard heading straight for him. J-1, keeping his head, snatched something from his pocket-
-And then the blast hit the top of the stairs, sending a cloud of dust, bits of stairs, and smoke in all directions. The droid stopped, trying to evaluate wether his target had survived or not. Satisfied, it turned to the door-
Just as J-1 swung through a window on a grappling rope, attatched to the window several meters higher and near the blast. His pistol found its' mark, and sent the second droid sprawling into the ground, pierced many times through the back.
J-1 landed with a grunt of exertion. He pressed a button which loosed the grapnel, and coiled it up again. So this was Rico's office, he better act fast.
With great care, inspecting every footstep he took (For Rico was a crafty sort) J-1 made his way to the main desk, with the main computer on it. Now, if only J-5 was still there, he needed someone's help for this.

Outside the tower, J-5 flattened himself against the wall again as a passing airspeeder scanned the tower with a searchlight. Once it was gone, he heard a bleep from his datapad. He flipped open the screen.
It was a message from J-1, which quickly updated the agent on the situation. The team leader needed someone to slice Rico's personal computer, something next to impossible without a connection to it, but J-1 had provided by using his limited computer abilities to connect the computer to the main Network.
J-5 cracked his thin fingers, as data streamed into his datapad. This was going to be the sloppiest, worst-done bit of programming since that 'hello-world' bit he'd done in the first grade, but with all his cunning, it might just work.

(OOC- I am really sorry that I missed your posts- I completly forgot. Lets work on getting this to finish.)
IC- Seriaph Tower's multimillion credit defenses had finally been breached. The resourcefulness and determination of the CBI agents had allowed them to overcome tough obstacles, and reach their goal. J-1, the teams leader, stood at Rico Belgardi's personal computer. He had sent a message to his technical advisor, J-5, to help him break into the executives office.
Preparing himself, J-5's hand touched an interface, and to his surprise the monitor sprung to life. Rico's office was protected by the best technology and security systems money could buy...... but he had not turned on the security devices for his computer.
Flabergasted, J-1 began racing through files, looking for anything unusual or suspicious. The computer was chock full of information, and J-1 wasn't even sure what he was looking for. Running a search for "GLF" J-1 found a single match. Named "The Union". A large file. He began transmitting it J-5.
And then, with a flurry, the Seriaph Tower regained electrical power....

J-1 cursed, and watched with baited breath as the file downloaded. 75%... 85%...
Finally, success! J-5 signald the file was across, and J-1 breathed a sigh of relief. He stepped back, and put two shots into the computer's screen. They already knew he was in anyways, might as well be thorough.
He ran out of the room, dodged around the remaining defences, and arrived to where J-2 and 4 had wriggled free from capture. Without a word between them, they slipped down the stairs, and landed behind the battle going on with the rest of the team and the droidekas. From their position, it was the work of a moment to snipe off the two droids.
The team fully reassembled, except for J-5, they silently made their way back the way they came. Thermal scans revealed a veritable army of security droids and personnel coming up the tower, along with far more deadly defence systems.
Outside the tower, J-5 turned on his cable-winch, which rapidly lowered him down to the ground floor. As he landed on the ground, he cut the cable, and scampered away into an alley to lurk. His small size allowed him to find a snug corner, where he waited for contact.
The rest of the team got back up on to the roof. J-6 groaned, and said "If we've got any escape plans, I suggest we exectue them now."
J-1 nodded, and scanned the skies. Where were they?

Seriaph Tower was bathed in light as the building regained access to power. And then, it became awash in sound as well, as alarms and klaxxons and sirens began sounding off throught the building. Messages were sent to Pavo Prime aerospace control, and the orbiting space defense force. A quick response team of private soldiers began moving out immediatly for the corporate headquarters.
Confusion was widespread, but urgency was common. One thing was for certain... things were becoming more chaotic by the moment, and more dangerous for the Coalition Agents....
