Gash's increasingly-stern glare locked with Arriana's for a moment, the Jedi Master yielding a nod in greeting. Despite the revolving-door policy which Gash employed in the Rogue Jedi Order, Arriana's departure had been unexpected, and her extended hiatus unfortunate.

"I do not know," Gash said, his gaze slowly shifting to Corran, "Who is behind this." He could sense the same question was on the mind of other Jedi, but for slightly different reasons. "And, I would hope, it will not govern our decision. Our duty is to assist others, not only to do so when it is convenient."

The rest of the Rogue Jedi sat in silent agreeance with Arriana. After a few more moments, Gash nodded. "It is decided, then. Tomorrow, we move on Veresh. This meeting is concluded. Go pack your things and say your goodbyes."

The Rogue Jedi immediately stood, and began milling about -- though certainly less than they would aftera typical gathering. There was a stunned silence about it all, an unpleasant anticipation brought about by both Gash's seemingly anxious state and the holographs they'd been shown.

Finally, Gash's eyes came upon Kamon. My office. Now.

He nodded in the direction of Kasien, then the exit closest to Gash's study, and the man immediately switched off the holoprojector and followed Gash.

Kamon and Jace followed Gash to his office. They entered and Kamon bowed to both men.

"Gash, I don't like this. Jace has told me of a vision and as he told me about it I had a flash of a vision. I want you to listen to what his was, then I will tell you mine."

He looked to Jace and nodded. This was of grave importance.

"Go ahead Jace."

I ran my fingers through my hair, a nervous trait, but stood foward, and started to relive the story again.

"There were two; one of this place peaceful, and calm and another of this place, burned and destroyed."

I cleared my throat.

"It is the second one that worries me, and drove me to come here. It was of this building, only it had been torn down, ripped to nothing but mere shreads of its previous self. There were fires everywhere, and screams of horror and pain. The fires stopped out of no where, and then vines and living planets started to take over the building, crushing the stones underneath and...almost...reforming it into something else.

Then there was a the outline of the galaxy, tipping back and forth, dipping into darkness on both sides if it strayed too far, and in the middle of the glaxy, right where Coruscant should be was this building. It was as if...this building - us...as if we were the turning point."

Kamon shifted in place, something bugging him; something he could no longer keep to himself, " I have experinced a vision, too. It was of the back of a body - inhuman, and it was standing over your limp body, Gash."

I turned my gaze from Kamon, and Gash. This is spinning out of control...too fast. Far too fast.

Gash stared unblinkingly at Jacen as he sat behind his desk, his hand resting upon his arm. His eyes moved to Kamon, who stood just behind his student. "You trust your apprentice's words, my friend?"

Kamon simply nodded. "They ring true to me, also. This is very disturbing... very disturbing indeed, Jacen. I will certainly meditate on this, as, I am sure, will your master. In the meantime, I would ask you only that you keep knowledge of these visions restricted to myself, and Kamon. The other Jedi do not need the added distraction, when it will likely do little to add to their preparedness."

He stared at Jacen a moment more. "A remarkable gift, for a Jedi of your age. Remarkable. If more visions should come, allow them to. Do not fear them; remember that knowledge, even that which may be unpleasant to us, only makes us stronger." He gave a slight smile, and nodded. "You may go, both of you. Get some rest."

The two retreated from Gash's chamber, and the Rogue Jedi Master's eyes -- which, though falsely shaded green, carried the same fire they always had -- locked with Kasien Treseda's. "I don't like where this is going."

"He said that he saw a... something, standing over you. Your corpse. You were dead."

"Yes."

"How... accurate, are these visions, Gash?" Concern leaked in through Kasien's visage of resolve.

"I don't know. They always mean something, don't they?"

Kasien nodded, but didn't respond. The two sat there in silence for a time, staring at the ground. "What do you think we're going to find on Veresh?" Kasien asked, finally.

"I don't know," Gash admitted, "I just don't. But I'll tell you this much: I can't sense what is doing this. I can't feel it. And I'm pretty smart, and I'm pretty powerful, but this thing eludes me as if it's nothing at all. I don't mean just knowing who specifically is behind it, but that anything is doing it, at all. You see the darkness in Jacen's dreams. The uncertainty. The vague figures. I can't sense them."

Kasien stayed silent again. "You know I'm with you, no matter what."

"Yeah."

"As am I . . ."

Gash's green eyes moved to the source of the familiar voice, and were were greeted by the spirit of one of his former students.

"Hello my friend, it is . . .nice to see you again."

With the meeting over, Arriana watched as the Jedi left. Many looked nervous, and she felt their anxiety keenly through the Force. Others were confident and eager to do their duty for the Order. She was neither; at best she could be described as complacent – she had no relatives here, no friends, and no belongings, meaning she had nothing to loose. This was, perhaps, why she was so willing to put herself on the line.

For this reason, she was standing outside of Gash’s office, and nodded for no reason in particular as the two Jedi left, leaving only Jiren and Kasien inside. A minute passed as she considered entering, and eventually she made her decision – raising a gloved hand to knock lightly on the door.

Ade-Ay stayed quiet as he always did. He followed everyone. He stood with his hands clasped together in front of him. He listed to what everyone had to say, waiting for the perfect time to say what he needed. He had nothing to say, he stayed in the room as the Jedi dispersed. He waited for the perfect moment to tell gash what he had seen in his dream, but there was none. He looked at Arriana as she knocked on Master Jiren's door. He walked up next to Arriana Rezner and nodded.

Gorak's troops were still in orbit around the planet. They awaited the order to go to ground. He wanted blood. He wanted to taste the infidels blood on his tongue.

It was such a good thought. He hoped the Jeedai would come so he could kill some of them as well. He would do so gladly for the glory of Yun-Yammka. He would do anything to bring glory to his domain.

They didn't need itof course. His domain was one of the most poerful. But, glory was always a welcome thing. He looked over to one of the villips and stroked it. The face of Warmaster Dwamor appeared and Gorak bowed.

"Warmaster. For the glory of Yun-Yammka I request that my troops be sent to the ground."

He did not look up. He kept his eyes focused on the ground.

The room was, more or less, hushed at the apparent show down the priest had sought to cause between himself and the warmaster, most believing Zhin Dwamor's respect for the priest caste to be similar to that of Tsavong Lah, who had personally taken a great prejudice against the religious order.

But the time was too precious, Dwamor knew, too soon to allow any form of in-fighting, that was one of the entire reasons he had to pull from the galaxy before schedule last time. Too many ambitions...

But he could not deny the annoyance caused by the priest's apparent arrogance. This was the Worldship of the Yuuzhan Vong! All in this room were equal, though their command chains may be different, in the eyes of Warmaster Zhin Dwamor they were all equally important, none moreso than another in the Yammosk Chamber of his worldship.

And only while in here was it not his own, it belonged to the Yammosk, and it belonged to Yun-Yammka.

The room continued to stare at the warmaster though, his reputation for violent outlashes had been well deserved and well whispered, they had seen him at Nkllon, at Taloraan, at Nal Hutta, he was not the patient type with insubordinates.

But this was the Yammosk Room, this was the most important part of the war thus far, he simply stared at the cocky priest.

"Patience to your bloodlust, Priest-friend of Yun-Yuuzhan," the warmaster responded calmly, "the time for further bloodshed shall come. As this is your first time in this new galaxy, I can understand your ignorance. But you do not assail a Tgnara without first judging its age."

Others nodded at the philosophy, knowing well the ferocity of tgnara, though some seemed almost offended by the implications that such a well-known creature of Yuuzhan-Tar could be compared to infidels, though they did understand. The most important thing about fighting the beasts was figuring out its age, then you could size up your battle strategy.

"This is only a test, a scouting mission, we have given them a bloody nose, now we must follow through with the punch. But please Priest-friend, have patience, I assure you much glory and bloodshed are indeed ahead."

With the priest's bloodlust at least temporarily quelled, the warmaster peered ahead at the warrior who had sought to move forces to the ground.

It seemed an obvious thing to do for a junior, wishing to prove himself, earn his scars. Zhin Dwamor shook his head.

"No," he said firmly, clenching his teeth. "Now is not the time, we must keep forces in reserve, but be ready, the infidels are not strong at defending at first, but they are favorable of a counterstrike."

"No trace, Priest, none at all. Except perhaps for the thousands of amphistaffs lodged in the ground, which, from a distance, spell out the name 'Mithra Domain Anor' in the infidel tongue. Or was this not part of your plan?" The image of Zeralin Lah sneered. "I do not need the assistance of a priest to command a simple scouting mission. Perhaps I shall tomorrow interrupt your prayers to instruct you on the proper ways to pay homage to Yun-Yuuzhan."

How could the Warmaster brooke such from the foolish priest? It was a disgrace to the Yuuzhan Vong and the Warrior Caste, such disrespect. "Warmaster, I trust we are finished here. I must attend to my duties. Zeralin Domain Lah out." He shut the shell of the villip around it, turned away, looking around the makeshift shelter -- which pulsated with strange, comforting bloodflow rushing through its veins -- muttering something which, loosely translated, meant 'repugnant infidel bastard'.

He turned to Vorsaak Norr who had stood silently, unknown and unseen, beside him for the conversation, shaking his head. "I apologize for my indiscretion, Vorsaak Norr. I grow frustrated; the invasion proceeds, but we are as divided as ever. We have failed so many times; we cannot aford to be torn apart by petty struggles, this time."
