MCR Takeover of Dagobah

"No, we don't have any. Will fighters suffice?" asked Agbar.
"I am afriad not." replied Arden. "We need them for something else..." and at that he went deep into thought. Agbar was worried. Surely if there were any men still alive down there they would not last for long. They needed to do something quickly. But what?

Joren sat back, his mind working on the problem.

Fighters didn't have the sensor capacity to properly map out the terrain, which is why he had needed airspeeders. But when there were no airspeeders, he moved on to the enxt best thing.

"Shuttles. I need at least three. Lambada-Class will work"

"I believe we have 2 aboard. You may also have some back on Iron Strom." replied Agbag, still wondering what Joren's plan was.

Joren smiled.

"Yes. But most of them are undergoing extensive upgrades and repairs. But I am sure my Kubaz Chief Engineer, Melto, will be glad to lend you one of them, Captain" Joren said.

"But for now, our plan is simple. We have people on the ground that we must recover, it is imperative to the security of the sector that we do. Therefore, we will use the Mobile Command Platform onboard the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Iron Storm<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> and the shuttles to search for <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Dagobah Squadron<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->. Hopefully, we will find them soon"

Nobody moved for a moment.

"Well, get to it' Joren said.

As if the tension in the room had exploded people began scurrying everywhere, trying to busy themselves. Joren just smirked slightly and turned to Agbar, who hadn't moved.

"I have heard some interesting things about you, Captain" He said.

"Really, and what might those be?" said Agbar, watching the madness around him. "Interesting things, you say?"

OOC:Sorry about the short post, but I was busy.

Joren noded and sat back.

"To tell you the truth Captain, you are one of the few experianced Mon Calamari officers in the fleet. The Emperor values your service.

"He does not trust humans, or any other species for that matter, which is why he favors his own people to command his vessels and fleets. I have been fortunate enough to be in the position I am in. Not many humans would even be considered to be put up on somthing like the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Iron Storm<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->. It is a wonderful ship. I'd like you to know that Teebo has taken notice of you. And I am sure you will be given an important postion if this mission is to succeed"

Agbar was taken aback from this comment. Never had he thought that the Emperor himself had taken notice of him. It was more than he could have ever possibly dreamed of.
"Really." Agbar said, with a tone of awe in his voice, "An important position. Wow. How do you know this?"
Agbar just hoped that once they got Mon Calamari back he would keep that position. When Teebo got back his steady supply of his own species, Agbar may not be valued as much.

"Let us just say that I am one of the few non-Mon Calamarian people the Emperor trusts, and leave it at that" Joren said.

"Tell me Agbar... how was it that you came to be in such a position in the Mon Calamari Navy?"

OOC: Also sorry for the short post, I am really busy. Do you think we can get a word count?

"Well, I suppose it started about 15 years ago." Agbar began.
"When I was 20, I wanted to join the MCR Navy. My mother pleaded with me not to join, saying I would get killed. In the end she finally gave in." He paused for a moment.
"I passed through the Academy with flying colours, and was placed on the flagship of the Emperor himself. This was just before the Battle of Mon Calamari." he heaved a sigh.
"During that battle my mother was killed by a Rogue Imperial bombing run." he paused again, this time for a much longer period.
"After that I continued to work my way up the Navy, but my progress was also excelerated slighty because of the need for Mon Cals. That's about it."
