Kas listened in silence, his mind chewing this over. The hydrovator lifted them up to the bridge quickly, and the doors slid open silently.
Leading the way down to the main deck, Kas walked rapidly to the assigned station where the memory bank decoding had taken place. There were 4 people hanging about, and he sent the 3 unnecessary ones scattering.
What do we have lieutenant.
Well sir, the memory core it’s self is in damaged, but the short-term cache is in fairly good condition. We were able to patch these together with the last long-term databank save. This is a rundown of what we were able to put together, starting from the most recent:
The last thing done is the ejection sequence.
Before that was a very complex series of maneuvers, extremely complex sir, almost but not quite Jedi quality. I would have thought they were done by a Jedi until one of the pilots, he pointed to one of the extra people, pointed out that they were advanced Vologeata maneuvers designed for highspeed fighters. He has been doing them for years, and he said that Sarah here is quite good at them.
Preceding that is a very short conversation between Sarah and the commander of the now defunct cruiser. I will save this for the end of the next and last point sir.
The analyst sighed, and wiped his brow.
Ok, I have a tape here that consists of all the data we were able to scrounge off all three of the memory cores, as well as the short-term cache and ionicbox. It is a voice recording, and is quite broken up. I ran several cleanup programs, and this is the best I can do on it sir. Here, listen for your self.
He pressed the play button, and a soundproof shield erected it’s self around them.
Within these small confines, the speakers played back the sounds as if you were really there.

Sarah, stand down. We have you outnumbered and out gunned. I repeat stand down.</font>
At this point the analyst stopped the recording.
That is the end of the interesting stuff sir, after this comes the brief communication with the enemy commander which sarah told us about, it checks, and then we progress up through the aformentioned events.
As you could hear, we count Sarah firing her blasters 4 times, and firing one torp before she met up with the pirates.
Is that all. Any other evedence?
Well, the resque team has just come in, they reported some very strange “rips” along the length of Sarahs craft, as well as …. Torpedo blast right along the front of the ship. Like a torp was fired at extreme close range, and detonated into a semi-soft body. Something absorbed part of the blast anyway.
Kas stood silent. Then he turned to Sarah.
Sarah, be straight with me here. What was it out there. I will believe you, the evidence it there. We can investigate if nessessary.
Sarah stood with a distressed look on her face.

(OOC: it's spelled SAHRAH, S-A-H-R-A-H, you evil typo king!!!)
IC:
"I don't know...some flippin' space creature. It like came out of this hole in an asteroid and scratched up my A-wing with it's friggin' teeth. I was being pursued by some of the lesser pirate groups because I was snooping around the coordinates where those ships were supposed to be," she grinned sheepishly, shrugging.

OOC: O_o, TWO H's, I see now. It would help if you got a seperate account for this you know.
IC:
<!--EZCODE BOLD START--> That would explain things then. Ensign, do we know of any space creatures knowen to frequent this area of space?<!--EZCODE BOLD END-->
Not much sir, I will have a full scan done as well as drop several sensor pods.
<!--EZCODE BOLD START--> Good. Sahrah, are next stop is Ketaris, as there are several things I need to do for Mr. Vinda. He sent a short message saying that Mr. Vega would meet us there.
In the mean time, I would like you to get some rest, let the doctors look you over, and get your E-wing fixed up to suit your needs.

OOC: DAMMIT---no wonder---my title's spelled wrong, lol...
"Yes, sir," she walked away.
She went down to the hangar bay and walked up to the E-wing. Sure, they were powerful ships, but...
Easier to blow up than my A-wing with their wings just waiting to be severed off, she frowned.
She hopped into the cockpit and ran a systems check as well as checked the lasers. E-wings had a nasty reputation for their lasers overheating and blowing up. I'm not dying for a technical error, dammit, Sahrah made sure they seemed in working order.
When she seemed satisfied enough she went back to her quarters and flopped onto her cot, falling fast asleep---it had been a long day anyway...

Two days later, the Freewind popped out of hyperspace in the Ketaris system.
<!--EZCODE BOLD START--> Hail the main spaceport, tell them who we are, and who we are picking up<!--EZCODE BOLD END-->
Yes sir.
OOC: I'm drained today, Vega, your turn

OOC: yes we all see how hard it was to type that...
IC:
A voice crackled over the speaker in Sahrah's quarters. "We're in the Ketaris system. All authorized personnel please stand by."
She changed into her black flightsuit right away and began checking her equipment. She quickly pulled her hair back into a braid and picked up her helmet, waiting for orders from Katta..

Achinta waited patiently in one of the downport's many Tap-cafes that surrounded it. He enjoyed these times away from Bonadan, it provided him with incredible stimulus, different races and species, street sellers, intergalactic tradesmen of all creed, colour and shape, densely packed the spaceport. Many he had never seen before all came and went in the many streets that zig-zagged their way across the port.
It was late afternoon, and the sun was beginning to set, Achinta had ordered himself a Caff, but was not drinking it, despite the fact he was able, after being designed to be nigh impossible to determine he was indeed, not human at all.
He had just simply been far too distracted to do so.
He reclined a little, and continued waiting for the newest additions to the Vinda-Corp family to arrive...*

The two strode down the hall, one stalky, and one slim, one brown topped, and one blue.
Cafe after Cafe they passed, then, there.
<!--EZCODE BOLD START--> Mr Vega, so nice to see you. This is Grummit, Saharah, er Saharh.
Sahrah, this is Mr Vega.<!--EZCODE BOLD END-->
OOC, just change it to Sarah, it's easier. ;)

*Achinta looked up at them and rose to greet them both, bowing his head slightly as he was introduced. His eyes seemed to scan across Sahrah as he gauged her general appearance.
He smiled warmly as he spoke...*
"...I'm looking forward to working with you Ms Grummet..."
*he paused as if noting something in particular...*
"...I like your hair..."
