In search of meaning (any Jedi from the Jedi Order may join)

"I still want to know how you came about this info, and I feel that with some patience I could find it myself, but Sith are not known for their patience, so show me to the Amulet, and if you mess with me, I will kill you."

As if by some strange force, the calm winds began to pick up to an almost threatening means. Whether it was the mysterious beings doing, that remained to be seen.

"If I had wanted to create mayhem upon you, Janus, I would have done so already. There are two Jedi about this land that can attest to that, I can assure you."

Keeping his presence to hover into the air, the being gestured with a frail looking finger toward the edges of the forest.

"Our walk starts there, come."

The hooded figure floated forward slowly, allowing Janus to keep up.

*Janus walked rather slowly behind the man, keeping pace just barely. He muttered to himself.*

"@#%$ Showoff."

The individual increased his movement as soon as he hit the deeper parts of the forest. He made no movements to look behind him as he traveled forward; he had no need to.

Almost as if out of thin air, something from up above shot down from one of the many trees within the forest. The object zoomed down with great momentum, only to pelt Janus on top of his head.

No harm done, only a minor sting, little twinge of pain that lasted nothing more than a few seconds. Not a scrape on the Sith.

The hooded figure would have thought it strange and uncanny really had he bothered to stop and turn around to take notice of the occurrence. He probably would have laughed even. He'd missed the opportunity however as he still continued to travel about his way. He was much too deep in concentration, getting Janus to the amulet to really stop and muddle about.

Still, he did appear to have the time to make conversation with the other as they moved onward. He called out to the other, not knowing if he kept in step.

"I am interested to know if you have ever heard of a Kaiburr Crystal."

*Janus easily kept instep with the man. As the object pelted him in the head, he swatted around, thinking it may have been a fly.*

"I can't say I have. why do you ask?"

(OOC: Dude, if your gonna be instrumental in this topic, could you please reply more frequently?)

OOC: You lack the virtue of patience, I see. Good, ever the more reason to make me linger... Remember, Janus, quality, not quantity. My point being, good things come to those who wait. Rushing me is not a good idea.

IC: he laughed, partly amused.

"Hmm, why Janus, now you've caused me to become disappointed."

The figure stopped, turning to Janus it raised its hand toward the Sith, pointing a fragile finger at him.

"You lack experience boy! An amulet, Janus?! Ha! Knowledge is what you should be seeking!"

Despite his disappointment toward the Sith, the figure continued on, stopping once he reached a clearing at the edge of the forest. Dusk would be settling in soon.

"We will stop for the night, a storm is approaching..."

(OOC: I usually have patience, but its rather boring having to wait 5 days inbetween replies.)

"You are correct, whoever you are. Knowledge is what i seek. It is said that Palpatine's mind entered his amulet, and I hope that once I find his amulet, I may be able to use his mind to allow me to find his holocron. Simple plan isn't it?"

*Janus sat down on the far edge of clearing, away from the other sith. He still did not trust this man, and this man, no doubt, felt rather highly of himself. But Janus would put up with it, because if he didn't, the only way he would find any remnant to Palpatine is if he scoured the whole planet...*

(OOC: just bumping this back to the first page, that way I know you won't forget...)

"Rax, you may call me Rax."

He grew tired of Janus' nagging, even if he failed to show so out right. The red robed figure did not like the Sith's attitude, not in the least.

An overcast of clouds quickly began to approach, just as Rax had foreseen.

"So you say you do not trust me, why?"
  • Posted On: Aug 13 2003 11:38pm
"The same reason why i doubt you trust me. You have done nothing to warrant my trust, you needed me to follow you through the woods before you would even give me your name. I don't see how one could trust a man who doesn't even give his name."

(OOC: Once again just bumping this up. Once again I beg that if you are going to be instrumental in this topic to please reply soon. This topic is instrumental to my character's development, so I need to do it. Without it, I can't get any of my other plans even started. Please! This is getting really annoying having to wait 5 days between replies!)
