ooc: I spoke with Lupercus on AIM. The shields could be in the state they are in for a week, unless the solvent is used, which will cause the breakdown in minutes. But only Lupercus the what the solvent is.

Kenshin's brow furrowed when their efforts to get into the shield were in vain.

*This is useless...*

He closed his eyes for a moment to think. They couldn't get in, but the Sith could probably get out. But there was no time to sit around and construct an elaborate plan. He opened his eyes and looked at the other two padawans.

'What do you two want to do? We can stay here and continue to try to get in, or we can go back up and see what we can do to help Theed.'

Kenshin didn't like the idea of abandoning the Gungans, but they really couldn't do anything could they.

*I've heard about Jedi that are good with machines and mechanics, and I've heard that they can sometimes shut down holoprojectors and such things. I am good with computers and machines having grown up on Kashyyyk. We could combine our powers to shut down the shields maybe temporarily or something. I don't know what Gungans use as shields though."

The wind whipped through Adrian’s hair, as he took yet another corner at breakneck speed. The Jedi beside him was holding on for dear life, and on the street people were frantically dodging out of the way. Adrian didn’t even have to move the wheel to avoid them; he was already pointing in the right direction, his hand guided by the Force.

A woman made to jump out of the way, but they were already past her. Round the next corner.

Another street, another crowd. Adrian let the Force take over. His movements became more routine, and he tried to focus his mind outwards, to identify the larger threat.

He could feel many powerful Force users in the city, but none of them very close. Speckled here and there were a larger number of less powerful Force users, most of them Jedi. Most of them were far away, congregating around the more powerful Jedi and Sith.

There were a few nearby, however, and Adrian felt them moving quite quickly away from him.

He didn’t pay them any attention, and continued driving. Another street, then another. His mind started to drift.

The holo station was only a few blocks away when Adrian felt it. A massive surge of Dark Side energy, moving at tremendous speed towards the Jedi. He looked around, and watched helplessly as it sped across the city, aimed straight at the Jedi in the speeder he’d felt earlier.

It disappeared below the top of a building, and there was a shockwave. Adrian slowed the speeder, and searched through the Force for the Jedi he had sensed earlier. They were gone.

Trying not to dwell on the deaths, he set off again. In a second, the holo station was in front of him. He jumped out of the speeder and ran to the front doors, the other Jedi following him.

Perrin's clothes flapped in the wind as a speeder sped by carrying a what felt like a Jedi with some pups.


Malice was causing his typical destruction in the city driving many from their homes, and many more into the ground.


With his saber under his clothes, he moved freely about in the masses of confused citizens until he had made his way to the Jedi Temple Grounds.


As he separated himself from the civilians, he stood in slight awe at the intricate architecture used in the structure before him.


Let's see what these pups have in them...



He walked through the outer, ceremonial gates and entered the courtyard.

Malice was out in the streets now, among the masses of people running scared. Guards ran frantice as well trying to quell the chaos that had erupted. Igniting the two white blades of death, Malice ran, jumping into a group of guards. is blades slashed and hacked away, blood coloring the ground and his clothes a new crimson red.

With a maniacal grin on his face, the demon sith knight continued his walk. Occasionaly getting into scuffle with a guard or a group of cavilians, which ended only in more blood shed.

Jordan was tired of waiting and trying to find a way in. He decided he would go to surface for he felt a big surge in the Force that was created by a dark side figure. He did not know if the other padawans would follow him, hopefully they would for they could do no good here.

He needed to find that dark side figure and destroy him.

Kenshin motioned for Logray to follow and quickly trailed Jordan onto shore.

"Remember, we need to stick together..."

He waited for Logray to surface.

He is only distracting me... delaying me. That is why he's here...


The Sith were in Theed, and Leia knew it. Her eyes half lidded as she reached out to the Padawans...


They were down near Otah Gunga.


Irritated, she opened her mind to them and sent out a Force message.


Get back up here! Now! You can do no good down there.


Her focus immediately returned to Han, who was leering at her.


"I don't have time for this...


...And you know it."


Leia pulled out her second lightsaber, and ignited both. It had taken years of practice to handle two blades masterfully, and that hard work had paid off plenty enough. Her eyes narrowed as she crouched in an attack/defense position, one blade in front of her in defense and the other held above her head, ready to strike.


"Make it quick."

Jordan surface just before Kenshin. Logray surfaced a couple of seconds after Kenshin. They needed to get to the city of Theed. There they could help out.

Jordan swam to shore and ran through the trees and underbrush. When he emerged he ran to the closest building and jumped on the roof. He used the same method of getting to the Otah Gunga. He needed to jump from building roof to building roof.

He could see the beautiful city of Theed. Right now it wasn't too beautiful though. There were buildings collapsed and screams everywhere. He felt people being hurt and even some people dying. He needed to move faster.

He gathered up his Force powers and pushed the energy and the strenght to his legs allowing him to run faster. When it came time for him to jump he would use those Force powers to make him leap longer and not higher for higher would take more time.

He could feel Kenshin and Logray close behind him. Soon the were at the heart of the city. They all jumped down the last building and onto the street, lightsabers in hand.

Then it came............
