On the bridge....
The team that originally entered the bridge through the exterior window kind of looked at each other for a second then shrugged, filling the dying Hutt full of lead. They used the playback systems in their vox speakers to deactvate the self destruct system. They deactivated the force fields and transmited priority green to the rest of the interior.

In Main engineering.....
The destroyer droids made short work of the engineering crew as the techs moved in behind them. They set to work deactivating any redundant systems of self destruction. After that they restored emergency power and marginally life support. After that, Priority green was transmitted, the engineering section was secured.

In the hallways...
The fire teams swept through the hallways, securing and placing exterior pocks on the entirety of the crew quarters as they totalled the dead, shipping corpses to the remaining y-4s that had landed on the hull. The teams had secured everything, the crew safe in their beds, many in prayer.

On the hull....
Most of the thruster packed equipped troops were serving as fire fighters, using the chemical packs in their kits to end the fires and to provide a temporary reseal, returning atmosphere inside to manageable levels.

John's field command...
The radio jamming ceased as all sections of the ship transmitted green pririoties. The ship was taken and held.
"It is very wise you do not wish to make enemies. AS for firing at my ship, i reccomend against it, you wouldn't like the results. THis ship, its crew, and all of the possessions aboard it are my property, as right of salvage. I would however be willing to make a deal to allow you the ship.MY people will be towing it to a repair yard for refit until such time as its future has been determined."

John looked at his arrayed troops, seeing the first battles on the faces of some, and the determined snarl on the grizzled veterans. "We are declaring this a victory, we are planning a victory feast, if you would be so kind as to arrange a hosting facility, we would be appreciative." John closed the commlink as the combined engines of the multitude of Y-4s towed the batterd ship towards the moon of Yavin IV. John closed the com link, moving towards the cargo bays as his troops finished their scouring. His slicer team had done their work quickly and efficiently, altering the datarecords of the late Golgan the HUtt, transferring control of all of his property to John.

"What other secrets do you have...." He said, looking at the cargo bay, studying its depths.

(OOC: The ship is supposed to blow up, so leave it alone.)

As the bridge teams searched around, a voice came over the computer systems.

<font color=red>"Primary self-destruct system deactivated, secondary systems booting up. Count down in twenty, nineteen, eighteen, sixteen . . ."

<font color=white> Sheridan's crews ran sharply to their boarding ships, making their way back to the Y-4's.

<font color=red>"Ten, nine, eight.

<font color=white>Some remaining escape pods, in a vain attempt to escape, launched themselves away from the goliath. But they were too late.

<font color=red> "Two, one."

<font color=white> Small explosions covered the interior and exterior of the Goliath before a huge explosion at the core , rocked the vessel, knocking it off of it's axis. Slowly descending into the Gas Giant of Yavin in a feiry ball, the Flagship of Golgan the Hutt, erupted into a thunderous flaming dagger.

It was no more.

(OOC: I dictate the flow of my own story. And if you want me to get the approval of an admin it can be arranged.)

Before making his way back down to Yavin IV, Ren hailed his mysterious saviour onboard the Hapes cruiser.

<font color=lime> "I must extend my gratitude my friend. You have rescued me, and for that I thank you."

<font color=white> Corran's X-wing sped off into hyperspace as he bidded farewell to Ren and Klango over the Comm. Ren was tired, physically and mentally exhausted. Before Landing he sent an Invitation to his rescuers to a celabratory diner on Yavin IV, hopefully they would accept.

OOC: It's true, the originator dictates the flow of his story, I got that from Omnae when I complained of a 'moding incident. If you wish the link, I will provide it.

IC:

Kas listened to the transmission from the boarding party with impartiality. He realised now that he was dealing with a savage or arrogant man. He sighed, and signaled for his gunner to prepare his men for ION cannon work. He really didn’t like making enemies, but…
But it was not necessary. The strike cruiser suddenly began to pop escape pods like crazy, and two Y-4's moved off in a hurry.

The sky flashed, and danced with the fireworks like light of a dying ship. It's engines no longer working, the hulk was quickly pulled into the Yavin sun.

<!--EZCODE BOLD START--> Looks like the owner of that ship doesn't like intruders.

Ok men, let's pick up all life pods we can, and see if anyone needs assistance. They did help us out after all.
<!--EZCODE BOLD END-->

With the crew busy pulling in pods, and all people hurrying about, the com crew unexpectedly signaled the captain to come over.

Commander, a message for you from the escaped shuttle

Kas listened, and told the com crew to reply his assent. He would meet this Jedi, and see if he could get answers.

<!--EZCODE BOLD START--> Get my E-wing ready, and signal the other ships to get their heinies over here, we might have work to do. <!--EZCODE BOLD END-->

OOC: Whatever kid))

IC: The crew of the dying ship was quickly herded towards teh cargo pods, the modular features of the ship lending themselves to this function. The cargo pods jettisoned almost immediately after the last man came through, the rest of the crews all ready moving to their work. The pilots moved their ships, with their cargo pods in tow towards teh NOva, as it had sent out a request for ships to move towards. Weapon systems were powered down, The medics were tneding to their wounded. The death toll had been bad, three hundred and twenty soldiers aboard the goliath killed, 75 crew members caught in the cross fire. 12 of the Destroyers were gone as well, and John had lost 16 of his original boarding party.

"Nova, we are responding to your alert, any idea about that party, son?" The man came on the channel for the first time He was bloodied from the close in fighting aboard the Loronar, and was being tended by a medic. He was old, with short cropped gray hair and a grey beard. "I am sorry we have not yet had time for an introduction, My name is Sheridan, John Sheridan. I thank you for the assisstance, we would never have been able to close the distance if you hadn't drawn fire and lit up its systems. As it is, we were able to salvage some of the cargo pods, i would be mroe than happy to see about finding some answers and perhaps some loot for this little excursion." John smiled over the channel, a toothy smile that showed warrior instict with a controlled savage nature, one necessary for combat situations.
It was fading quickly and he was relaxing apparently. "If you don't mind, i would like to come aboard to see about that meeting you offered earlier." The Y-4 was lightly damaged from defensive wounds from the Loronar as it slowly moved towards one of the docking ports.
