Malice gazed at the amulet Athena was showing him.

*I believe that is true. For i too have an amulet of great power within my grasp. But, it's power was still beyond my control, even now. As such, until i have reached a new plateau.......it is safetly hidden back at TNSO*

He would control the power of the amulet he had found. And when he did.....he would destroy his enemies.

For reasons not readily apparent, Dioan Silk, Sovereign Protector found himself entering the chambers occupied by Malice and the Dark Lady Athena. He was, as usual, accompanied by Six identically clad Royal Guardsmen. Though he had left no alert to his coming, it was sure that Athena knew he would arrive. Her powers of sight were supurb, and even the Royal Guard had difficulty operating without the know of Maim and Athena.
"Lady Athena," one spoke and bowed his helm ever so slightly in respect or reverance, "Brother Hannad asked I look in and be sure you have no needs. Is there anything I may do for thee my Lady?"
Other then this, they remained silent, their attentions on Athena and utterly dismissive of Malice.

Athena looked over at the guards as they reached to where she and Malice where standing. Her amulet glowing softly, she thought for a moment.

" Tell Kile to be ready for our departure in less then 15 mins. Other then that I need for nothing. "

She returned to walking with Malice.

" Malice, here are some of the powers of the Darkside that I have learned and have kept hidden within this Amulet. I plan to return from my trip with more. From a family member..."

Athena said nothing of the power of her brother in law, that she could use within her amulet.

Malice eyed the royal guards that had found them. He detested the one which had spoken, and would get even with him oneday. But for now, his attention back on Athena as she spoke about the power of her amulet. Talk of power, and getting more of it greatly attracted Malice's intrest.

Of course he was speaking of himself. For she too at one time had been with TNSO....when Lord Snack and Lord Poreon were around. Malice knew her then, and had a respect for her. But he too wanted power, and would do anything to get it.

She thought about it for a second. Her amulet glissened once more. Then with no words spoken she handed the Amulet over to Malice.

" Try to use it. "

Malice stared at the amulet for a bit before taking it from Athena.

*If you wish so Athena. Though in my history of learning, ones amulet is sacred and possess the wearers own power. But i shall try*

With that Malice closed his eyes. His mind going into a meditative state as he concentrated on the amulet. Seeping into it with the darkside to draw out it's power. He could sense the great power within....but tapping into it and using it would be a different story.

The amulet glowed faintly. Reacting to an unknown presense within it, Malice's presense. The sith lord was reaching into the jewel with his own force energy, to make it cooperate more easily with him.

" it wont work with you. Trapped within that amulet is the souls of other force users I have faced and removed from this world. Soon I plan to have another more powerful soul. The soul of Artum Somir. Maim's brother....."
