The Past...

"It looks like we shall have to go ahead with Project: Insidion after all."

"Sir, that plan banks on a victorious Regent."

"If Hyfe is not victorious, then we are all dead. Contact the army below. We might as well use it while it is still effective to some degree. Start quarantine procedures with the population... execute all infected."

"And our men?"

"When they cannot go on any more.." Kaine's eyes closed, "..then end their suffering too."

"Inform the Insidion and Captain Merrik we shall require him after all."

"At once, Marshall."

Kaine turned to the blue visage of Csilla.

May your children scattered prove better than the rebel sympathizers you now hold.

Soon either the Regent will be triumphant and we live or he will not and we all die.

Insidion shall live.

The Empire shall live.

Farquak

"Incoming!" shouted a crewmember as the missile struck against a Sith Battleship.

"Send out a distress signal! Inform Imperial Cent--" the explosion threw the man over a railing. His neck broke upon impact.

The communication's officer knew his ship was only half alive as he desperately tried to get his comms working.

"The Blood Hand is sending the transmissions..." he coughed out amid smoke noting that one enemy ship moved away.

Their sister warship had minimal damage and kept firing at both damaged shipyards.

The massively damaged Battleship could only fire a few shots at the yards as well... hoping they could shake off the blows the enemy threw at them.

"Sir. We are receiving a distress signal coming from the nearby system."

"It does not concern us..." the cold reply came back immediately.

"Captain. The signature is Sith."

"There are many Sith in the galaxy, Lieutenant Vison."

"Naboo Sith Order, Sir."

The Captain held quiet for a minute, his eyes hard. "The Naboo Sith Order.." he commented at last. "That information would have been helpful at the outset, Lieutenant."

"The signal is weak sir."

"More than likely then their 'distress' is genuine." the Captain commented, an eyebrow rising at the defense the Lieutenant had put up, weighing it to its logical conclusion, and then dismissed the perceived error.

He ordered a channel open to the Insidion's extensive medical facilities, a hold over redesign from the Wrath Virus.

"Doctor, would Sith biomaterial work?"

"Sith?" the voice on the other end of the line seemed to consider the request.

"I do think it would..." the voice finally admitted.

"Then let us see if we can obtain some."

"Helm, alter course to heading 532.563.032"

"Helm, aye."

"Execute."

The Bird of Prey, Vulture launched a salvo of missiles at the engines of the Soth Battlecruiser with no shields. The Battlecruisers exploded.

"Farquak Ground Forces, load supplies of missiles onto some transports and bring them up to us."

"Yes sir."

Eagle and Hawk continued to pound at the last Sith Battlecruiser with lasers, turbolasers and ion cannons.

"Sir, the enemy shields are down."

"Has that piece of drebis moved yet?"

"Yes sir."

"Excellent. Launch all our missiles at the Sith Battlecruiser, then form up with Falcon and Vulture.

"Yes sir."

A salvo of missiles from both Birds of Prey impacted on the enemy's engines, and destroyed the Battlecruiser.

Meanwhile eight transports were loaded with missiles. A gap was made in the shields, and they flew out. They immediatly gave refills to the Birds of Prey. Then they flew to the shipyards, and started to help injured people. Some uninjured crewers left onboard of the damaged shipyard started to repair it.

Damages:
All Sith Battlecruisers Destroyed.

Outskirts of Farquak System...

Outside farthest planetary orbit

ISD Insidion

The Imperial Star Destroyer reverted from it's deep hyperspace trajectory without incident. Outside the farthest scanning and detection networks, the Star Destroyer maintained it's silence.

Closer to the system's primary came a massive amount of signals from civilization. A clear indication that the system's inhabitants boasted of techology.

The signal intercepted from the Sith Battlecruisers had originated from within.

"Maintain monitoring status." Captain Merrik ordered imperiously and the crew moved with calm purpose.

"Raise the shields and warm our weapons."

"Weapons powering."

He walked from his overviewing area and down the steps to the communications stations.

"What is there.."

"Civilian and military comm chatter residue."

"What is happening?"

"Apparently there is reports of the Sith Battlecruisers being destroyed. Mentioning repair crews to shipyards.. apparently the Sith drew some blood.

Reinforcements leaving for Mon Calamari..."

"Apparently, there is a war on.."

Captain Merrik did not smile. "We've been away for too long." he merely commented thinking of his options.

"Prepare to launch probes. Prepare several for Imperial Center, queried for the Grand Marshall."

"I will see it attended too, Captain."

Merrik looked at the Comm Officer with no mirth. "See that you do, Officer. See that you do."

He slowly rose the steps once more. I wanted live Sith! And the inhabitants in this system robbed me of that.

A sudden thought occured to Merrik. Turning to a Lieutentant, "Ask Dr. Pherro if the dead bodies of the Sith would work?"

"At once."

Captain Merrik tugged at his black and crimson uniform of the 256th, last official port of call being Csilla during middle of the Wrath Virus outbreak.

"Holocom channels, prepare 256th encrypted channel.."

It was time to break silence.

OOC:Please note my ships never jumped to hyperspace. Also, it's pretty cheap to continue a thread that's been over for two months. Also, if you have been out of touch since the Wrath Virus, well, no one knew about Farquak at that point.

IC:

"Sir, by the time we get to Mon Calamari it will probably be lost. We should concentrate on securing Farquak. Reinforcements or another attack might come in."

"Excellent poinsts. Fall back to the minefield. Tractor them and bring them closer to the shipyards."

The four Birds of Prey fell back into the minefield, and used their tractor beams to bring them together, covering a shipyard.

Outskirts of Farquak System...

ISD Insidion

"Ahead half speed, thruster control. Bring us into scanning range." Captain Merrik ordered as the 256th relay began to respond with encrypted telemetry.

The Insidion barely crossed the scanning threshold when all sorts of data began to come in as sensors were directed to the last trajectory of the Sith Battlecruisers.

"Shipyards. A major construction facility." Captain Merrik's 2nd murmured.

Merrik stared at the planet as if by mere sight alone would conjure up answers. Answers to questions like why was the Naboo Sith Order attacking this planet? Who was this planet aligned with?

And what was their relationship to the Empire?

"Sir, you'd better see this."

Captain Merrik turned and walked over to the decryption station and began to read the received data from the 256th channel.

"It seems the Empire is under attack by the aliens that reside here."

"The Empire is at war?"

"No, Ensign. The Empire has not declared war on the aliens. It seems that the Empire wishes to underscore just who it views these attacks."

"Treachery."

"So it seems."

Captain Merrik stared at the sensor readings and came to a decision.

"Take us out of this system."

"Coming about, aye."

And the Insidion drifted out of the Farquak System as quietly as it entered.

OOC: This ends TNO's part in this thread. Now we can consider the thread complete.

OOC:

We did remove it, which is why Farquak only has four shipyards, when it used to have five.

I never fired on you, I only said question them, though that is irrelivent since we can't see you.

The enemy never got through the shields of my Birds of Prey, so they wouldn't be in dry-dock.
