OOC: This thread is closed but, on the odd unbelieveable chance, someone wants to join, just ask.
Added note, this thread was started LONG before the Restart and as such, isn't taking place on the current Coruscant. It's old history that I'm still finishing.
*************
With a quick glance over the surrounding area, Damalis Skywalker tentatively stepped out onto a deserted loading dock. The normal hustle and bustle of this place, so typical of Coruscant, had died down and would stay that way for a few hours more. It was a shut down time, allowing the older system used here to catch up to all the ships that came through. It was cheaper but more dangerous for ships to dock and load at this spot, companies using it just to save a few credits.
Why Damalis was here was a complete mystery, even to herself. She didn't know what she thought she would do to stop or help anyone, she wasn't a Jedi even, she just knew she was supposed to be here. That was the strange thing about Damalis, she'd even found it hard to explain in her jedi training, brief as it was. She'd been abysmal at it, half the time she'd mess up just igniting a lightsaber muchless learning how to fight properly with it. Her failure at everything else is what had made her hesitate telling her master about some of the things she could do and in the end, she'd simply never got around to it.
Not that Damalis minded. She hadn't really wanted to be a Jedi, but with her last name it had seemed like the right thing to do. Not that Damalis thought she was related to anyone important. Half the time she thought maybe her family had just adopted the name when they wanted to leave behind some old past, but she'd never mentioned that either. Damalis got through things alot of the times just by not mentioning things, which tending to backfire. Most considered her a brainless harmless fluffy type and, for the most part, she was. But Damalis was a little more than that.
Proof of that was the fact that, even though she stuck out here like a very bright flashing light, she was even here in the this area. It wasn't the best of places to be, there was always the high chance that someone you saw in this area of Coruscant wouldn't hesitate to kill you for your money instead of just doing business with you. Less paper work that way. The fact was Damalis just knew she was supposed to be here.
It was one thing she'd learned in her jedi training, that you had to open yourself up to what you felt, learn your own mind before you could hope to open yourself up to that around you. This was really an experiement on Damalis part. She knew she was to be here, the thought was in her head, the time, date and place. She even knew what she was supposed to do here.
It was just a matter of time to see if she was right. Or insane. Either way, Damalis would be happy to know which it was.

Without even looking back, Chiisai Kyoufu marched out of the doorway and into the flickering lights that lit the area. She was barely taller than the square bulky servo droid that lumbered out behind her, keeping it's distance so it's tracks didn't get mixed up with the purplish shimmering robes that trailed behind her. The tiny woman headed right out into the open as if she owned the platform, then frowned at the empty space where there was supposed to be a ship docked.
Her protocol droid had gone to see that the ship was indeed heading to the right place so Chiisai hadn't even thought of the possibility that it wouldn't be docked right where it was supposed to be. A frown on her arrogant little face, Chiisai stopped and glared, hands on her hips as she rolled over her options in her mind.
It was some time since Chiisai, who had very briefly been the Queen Mother of Hapes, had been back here on Coruscant but now, she had decided to take her leave. She was a known face here and, the society having known already that she had quite a bit of credit, rightfully assumed she'd come away from Hapes with quite a bit more. This was true, Chiisai hadn't stepped down without first making sure that any gifts given to her during that time had been safely stowed away but she wasn't about to loan it all out to rich spoiled brats who she'd have to pay someone to break a few bones before she got her credits back. Investing in some companies was more what she was interested in now, she didn't intend to become a loan shark of some kind, it was an occupation far below her current status.
Which was why she was leaving Coruscant. She'd traded her old ship in and bought a brand new one, which was to be delivered here, so she could leave without being noticed. Chiisai hadn't decided where she was going just yet but she had an infininte number of possibilties. However, right at this moment, it didn't look as if she was going to end up anywhere. The expression on her face didn't bode well for the next person Chiisai saw either.
Growing more irritated by the minute, the small woman was just about ready to give up when she squeaked most unelegantly. The abrupt sound wasn't just for fun, it was caused by her servo unit suddenly thumping against her from behind, catching Chiisai off guard. Stumbling forward, she quickly righted herself, whirling around in a cloud of purple cloth and long black hair. She was just in time to get bumped against again, Chiisai having just enough warning to put her hands up and push away from the robot.
"Stop that!" Chiisai ordered but it had no effect as the servo rushed at her in the same jerky fashion once more. Quickly stepping back out of the way, Chiisai was utterly baffled as it didn't obey her command. She'd never had this happen before, especially not with this type of unit. Voice commands were supposed to over-ride any objective, especially her voice.
Two more charges by the robot pushed her across the platform, Chiisai hollering at it the entire time. She was so interested in watching it to make sure it didn't bump into her again that she had completely forgotten about the docking area behind her and how close she was coming to the edge that dropped off into space.

Having watched the really small woman walk out onto the dock, Damalis was just as amazed as Chiisai was that the servo droid kept knocking her over. Not so much that she didn't think a robot would keep doing something like that, Damalis had plenty enough experiance with weird things and driods, but what amazed her the most was things were going just as she has seen.
Here was the tiny woman, dressed regally in purple with her long black hair reaching passed her waist, and the servo, bulky and boringly square. Both had emerged from the door just as she'd seen, they had walked out part way with the woman stopping to glare about, then the driod had started to push her along before it.
It was most extroidanary to Damalis to see this happening that she'd focused on every detail, right now to the click click noise the woman's heel's made and the whirring of the robot's tracks. She'd even gotten the woman's strange accent right in her dream, which was just so amazing.
It was about this time that Damalis remembered why she was here. In her dream, visions really since she wasn't asleep, she'd seen the tiny woman pushed right off the edge of the docking platform. A thought which finally made Damalis sprint across the distance between them, her long legs making it easy. She was just in time, too.
The woman, her mad face fixed on watched the droid, had just stepped backwards into space. She barely had time to register her surprise however before Damalis had grabbed her wrist, snatching her back from a fall into nothingness. Surprised at how little the woman weighed, Damalis dragged her back away from the edge and the robot.

This was truly beyond undignified, was Chiisai's last thought before she found herself stepping backwards into nothing. Any thoughts about dignity or otherwise jumped right out of her head as the first and foremost thing in her brain went directly to her mortality. Her body had only just begun to give into gravity when Chiisai found herself hauled from in front of the droid and back onto solid ground. She was jerked with such force that her teeth snapped together with a loud click and she stumbled, completely off balance.
Once she righted herself, Chiisai was appalled to find herself clinging to someone dressed in the brightest shade of yellow she'd ever seen. How she'd missed a personage dressed like this on the platform was beyond her, and as soon as she'd gotten her feet beneath her, the diminuative woman stepped back to see who had come to her aid. She was surprised to find a young woman, possibly younger than herself, with tawny colored hair, blue eyes and far taller than Chiisai thought a woman should be. Five foot even herself, Chiisai didn't approve of tall women but she wasn't about to argue that point with someone who'd just pulled her back from a very long fall to a very abrupt death.
Shuddering at this thought, Chiisai took a few moments to catch her breath, the thought of thanking this woman never even crossing her mind.

"You alright?" Damalis asked, clearly worried as she smiled reassuringly. The woman has looked small from a distance but upclose she was positively itty-bitty. Just barely under six foot, Damalis usually towered over that because she wore shoes with heels. Today was no differant, even if her knee boots were an eye popping yellow, so she felt very hulkish next to the exotic looking person before her. She had a distinct look Damalis knew she should have been able to place, as if she'd seen her before, but she could put her finger on it.
All these thoughts took only seconds to flash through Damalis' mind before she jumped back, dragging the woman with her again as the droid suddenly switched directions and swerved back around at them again. It had been sitting motionless before but was once more on the war path.

Still trying to compose herself Chiisai wasn't too happy to find herself being towed around once more. She was a little out of it and took a few seconds to realize this was happening because the servo unit was once more chasing her. Luckily the tall woman seemed to have a better grasp of avoiding it, Chiisai assumed she had a better view from up there, and managed to keep them from being ran into. It was a very strange sight, the tiny Chiisai in shimmering purple being drug around by the tall Damalis in eye watering yellow as they both tried to avoid the dark shape of the robot.
"Turn it off!" Chiisai commanded, completely sure that when she couldn't so something herself, a servant could. Since Damalis was helping her, Chiisai had categorized her with the 'servant' label without a second thought.

"Don't know how." Damalis admitted truthfully, keeping her eye on the droid which, for the moment, was sitting still as it seemed to be contemplating something. Which was unlikely since this didn't seem to be a free-thinking droid. Just sorta luggage on wheels.
Biting her lip, Damalis wondered if they could make a run for one of the doors. Action tactics wasn't her thing, now shopping, shopping Damalis could do quite well, but action? She could run pretty fast if not distracted but not much more than that. And she didn't think the woman with her could keep up, not with the differances in strides. "Any idea whats wrong with it?"

"Of course. I just like to let it chase me to near death." Snapping irritably, Chiisai tugged her robes around her, pulling it close in an attempt to keep Damalis from stepping on it. This was happening far too often for Chiisai's liking. Seems she was destined to be rescued by big footed people.
Now that the droid stood still, Chiisai decided there was no reason to stand around waiting on it to decide what to do. She had a brain and could think faster than it could. "We can go for the doors." Then, without waiting for the tall woman, Chiisai took off for the doors, her rescuer not far behind her. They had gotten within a few feet of their destination when the robot came shooting in front of them, blocking off their escape route.
Cursing it quite violently in Hapan, Chiisai stepped back away from it, at least secure this time that she wasn't about to fall to her death. Seriously tired of this strange game, Chiisai tried a new strategy. "We split up, you go that way, I go this way. Then run for the door."
Without waiting for any reply, Chiisai did just that, at least marginally pleased to see that her words were obeyed when the other woman followed her orders. The only problem was the servo droid was operating on it's own set of commands and they seemed to consist of tracking Chiisai. Which ever way she went, it went as well. This allowed Damalis to make it to the door just fine but Chiisai was left frustrated. Red in the face with anger, she tried dodging it one more time, but things happened so quickly Chiisai missed the fact that her robes were trailing behind her forgotten.
Since they were passing so close now, the servo droid rolled right over them in it's attempts to cut off Chiisai's path and, unfortunately, it took mere seconds for the sparkly cloth to wound it's self tight within the tracks. Chiisai gasped, finding herself abruptly hauled against the machine's side as her clothes were being pulled quickly downwards. Unprepared for this, and ill-equipped in strength and sturdy shoes, the tiny half-Hapan found herself being forced downwards and closer to the tracks even inch the machine moved. It only seemed determined to get her close to the edge again and didn't stop moving. Soon, Chiisai would be jerked underneath it complete and quite thoroughly crushed.
Unaware of anything except her struggle to pull her clothes from the tracks, the robes clasps to remove it being out of reach as well, Chiisai didn't notice as a strange whoosh sound erupted behind her. Nothing evaded her senses until a blue light flashed before her eyes and she fell away from the droid to lay panting on the floor. She had the most unusual sight from that position of the tall woman in yellow standing over her looking shocked and holding a blue lightsaber. Before she could get her breath really, Chiisai had been hauled to her feet and made to move around the platform to avoid the robot some more.
'Your a Jedi?" Having finally caught her breath, Chiisai snapped out at the woman, unbelieving this person could be a Jedi. The other woman didn't have time to answer however before the unmistakable sound of a ships engine began to fill the air with it's mighty rumble. They could hear it and feel the wind from it's coming before the ship got there, it must have been making a noise in the background that went unnoticed till now, and when it was finally in view, Chiisai crowed triumphantly. "Ha! My ship is here."

Damalis was honest, she was about to blurt out that no she wasn't a Jedi and that the small woman was lucky she'd gotten the light saber ON, muchless cut just fabric when she used it but the arrival of the ship put a halt to that. Knowing very little about ships, Damalis had no real clue what make or type this was except that it didn't look like the type of ship this richly dressed woman would own. In fact, it was a little on the old side and the name 'Celtico' was in desperate need of repainting. The tall blonde didn't have time to voice these thoughts before Chiisai was darting for the safety of the ship as it docked, the latch opening almost before the ship was settled.
Conscious of a strange feeling tingling in her nerves, Damalis went after the small woman. She was only here because of a vision and she didn't think she was through after all that had already happened, so Damalis wasn't giving in just yet.
As both of the women rushed for the ship and up it's ramp, neither noticed that the servo unit had once more calmed down and was following them normally, without it's strange jerky movements of a few minutes earlier.

With a triumphant smirk on her face, Chiisai darted into the ships interior then quickly turned to pushed the button to shut the ships latch. The bohemith woman had followed and had just made it inside a few steps behind her. No matter, Chiisai would just have her protocol droid drop the woman off somewhere.
Jabbing the button, Chiisai frowned as nothing happened. This was a new ship, the switch to open and shut this door should be working fine. Even as Chiisai thought this, she realized the panel she was looking at was far from new. In fact, with a quick paniced look around, she saw that none of this was new and her panic increased when she heard the servo unit begin to climb the ramp.
"This not my ship!" She blurted, feeling foolish and angry at the same time. Chiisai was smart and knew there was something going on here that she was certainly not catching but without any protection, and with things happening no fast, she didn't have time to try and figure it all out.
