Cor-Si pulled himself up from the dirty ground.
"I'm sorry? You want me to apoligize? Apoligize? You Jedi are just like they say. Lording around the place, acting as if you control everyone just because you have powers that no one else does. And to think I want to join your ranks. Well you might serve the Force, but I serve justice. If that girl is hiding information about what happened here then, belive me when I say you won't keep me from getting it." Behind Vodo the girl whimpered into his brown robes. Cor-Si could feel the fear pouring off her, rushing back into her veins as his words scared her. It didn't feel good as such but it certaily felt energizing. Each tear that feel down her pale face was a waterfall of the Force into Cor-Si's subconcious. With each splash that came, a deeper understanding of the Force came to him. It wasn't power as such, more along the lines of knowledge.
Reaching out with the Force Cor-Si forced his way, as best he could, past his her concious thoughts and deep into her head. His mind searched all information, following thoughts she didn't realise she had. With every second that passed he grew to know more of her mind than she did. He could feel every centre of her that focused on hiding behind the alien. Feel her fear that she wouldn't be going home, her affection for a friend from school, her pride at having completed an essay. He could sense her most inner secrets and embarrasing memories. But he could feel no deception. Dissapointment coursed it's way into his brain. She knew nothing.
"No! You have to know something, you we're hiding. How are you blocking me, why can't I feel what your concealing from me?" Anger sweeled up in the young padawan again. Now it felt good, the anger gave him a purpose. It gave him a reason to stand, a reason to let the hate in him grow.
Fear

The Jedi worried about them all, but Cor-Si knew better. They didn't lead to the darkside. They wouldn't destroy him. They just gave him a reason to feel the way he did. The energy that sustained him wasn't the darkside, though it did come from anger, it was merely the Force. The wizened Jedi had no place here, he knew nought of what Cor-Si had to deal with. It was time to look for answers alone. No one would stop him from gaining the vengance his family deserved, nor from finding the answers he sought. If they tried... well, all the more fools they were.
Perhaps Vodo was focusing so intently on trying to calm the litle girl, perhaps he didn't expect a padawan to do such a thing. Whatever his reason, he did not notice Cor-Si reach into the Force and pull a large metal piping off the wall of his former house. The circular tube twisted around and slowly built up speed as it floated towards the child. Vodo's gaze remained on Cor-Si right until the pipe was a metre away, sudenelly he felt the danger approaching, understood what the taunting leer on Cor-Si's face had meant. Spinning around he pushed his hand out and used the Force to shove the metal aside. When he turned back Cor-Si was gone. A faint lingering of the Force showed where his presence had been and may have even suggested which route he had taken. Not that it would matter, Vodo had the responsibility of returning the girl to where she lived, by that time Cor-Si would be long gone.
Had the girl been Force sensitive she might have felt Vodo's mind reach out and wish his apprentice luck. Had she not been crying so hard into his brown robes she may have seen the small smile on his face. Had she been able to read thoughts she would have found only five words in Vodo's. 'Till we meet again padawan'.

Rising through the atmosphere, a soro-suub silver star yacht shot into space. It headed straight past Cejansij's three moons and shot into hypersapce. It's destination was a mystery, even to the young and troubled man who piloted the craft. The only thing that could be guaranteed, the galaxy had not seen the last of the young Jedi inside.
