Freefall was a majestic creature. Excellent at flying, he was perfect for Kamon. They soared through the sky over one of the Monteradon housing structures. Kamon hadn’t quite figured out what they were and Freefall didn’t seem interested in talking about it.

Minutes later, they landed at the Castle. Kamon enjoyed the flights as they took his mind off the pressures of running a multi-planet government. TDY was a prestigious lightside faction. That was something to be proud of.

Kamon said hid good-bye to Freefall and headed for his office. Unlocking the door, he walked in and sat down at his desk. His datapad was blinking. That meant he had a message. The Red background meant it was of great importance. He read it immediately.

When he was finished he called the one man that had been around the longest. Moments later, Radon Mont walked in.

“Sit down, Radon.”

Radon nodded and sat down. He appeared to be nervous. He had already heard about what was happening, but that didn’t mean he was the one to talk about it.

“I thought we had completely dissolved the Republican Senate.” Kamon said.

“We did. It appears that some of them continued to meet even after we dissolved it. They didn’t want to be finished.”

“I don’t know what to do about this push to switch back and be finished with the commercial side of the faction.”

“They didn’t say drop the commercial side. They just said switch back. You could keep TDYI open as a side business.”

“That makes sense, but what will the others think?”

“I’m not sure. You should have them come to your office and get their opinions on the matter.”

“Good idea. I’ll do that. Switching back does make sense after our move. If we hadn’t moved, I wouldn’t even consider this.”

“I know.”

“Ok. Go back to what you were doing. I’ll speak with the others.”

“Ok.”

Radon stood up and exited the room. Kamon keyed on his datapad and sent a message to all of the high level employees of TDY. He needed to speak with them.

I finished my jumpo, and threw my hands over my head. I leaned back into a flip, and came to rest softly on my feet. As I stood up the comm on my desk emitted its regular annoying buzzing, followed by a squeal. That meant that there was something important going on in Kamon's office.

Not bothering to change out of my work out clothes, I grabbed a towel from the closet, and wiped off the sweat as I ran out the door. Clenching the towel in my hands I broke into a run down the halls of the Tholatin Castle towards Kam's office.

I knocked once, and swung the door open. my lightsaber was in my hand....just in case.

"Kamon!"

Kenshin's datapad suddenly started urgently bleeping. Recognizing the familiar signal of an important incoming message, he walked away from the window and over to his desk.

After quickly scanning its screen, Kenshin pocketed his datapad and swiftly walked out of his office and headed for Kamon's.

Swiftly entering Kamon's office, Kenshin almost bumped into Jacen who was already there as well as Radon.

"So, what's up?"

Kamon looked up at the two Jedi. One a Rogue, the other a normal Jedi. Interesting.

"Sit."

They sat down in the chairs opposite Kamon. He nodded to the guards outside letting them know to let Cole in when he got there.

"It seems when I dissolved the Republic, some of the Senate decided to keep meeting. They have a made an overwhelming push to make us go back to being the Tholatin Republic.I want to know your opinions."

I ignored the offer to sit and instead remained standing, looking at Kamon's face as he spoke. This was indeed an interesting situation, and it was not one that I thought I would be hearing of...at least, not for awhile.

"Well," I started, "It seems that if they want it that badly, the sensible thing to do would be to allow us to become the Tholatin Republic again. I don't see much that we would be losing, and it would generate a lot of support for us."

I didn't know where Kamon stood on the issue, really, and my attempts to subtly probe his mind hadn't helped me at all. All that I could do was sit...sit and wait while we all compared notes.

Kenshin hated politics. It made everything so confusing. But it was a necessary part of society and a part of life now.

His brow wrinkled in an expression of deep thought. There was a delicate balance here.

"Let's say we agree to become a Republic once again. What powers would the Senate have?"

Donovin had been making personal rounds for Kamon when a message was dispatched to his communications link; the unit was always on his person when he was away from his office, which was, just about all the time. Though he had not been in his office at the time the message was sent, there was no doubt on his mind that there would be a message waiting on his holocomm whenever he got the chance to return to his office.

He was twenty minutes late already; he silently scolded himself as he rushed down the hall toward Kamon's office.

The Jedi did not bother to have any common courtesy for the meeting at hand as he boisterously entered the Rogue Jedi's office, interrupting the conversation at hand.

"Sorry I'm late! So what'd I miss so far??"

All three men turned to look at Cole at the same time, a look of slight condemnation crossing each of their faces at his discourteous entrance.

"Er.. Sorry I'm late," he repeated.

As the man ran into the office, I had to raise my hand to my mouth in a swift, but fluid motion to keep myself from busting into laughter. The look on Kamon's and Kenshin's faces were not as light as mine, but I couldn't help but laugh. I turned to look out the window, hoping that none of them saw my face and the laughter that was threatening to over take my defences.

The disapproving look disapeared from Kenshin's face as he noticed that it was Cole who had entered. He gave a slight grin as he greeted the man.

"Glad to see that you've decided to join us. You haven't missed too much, just the stating of the situation.

We're deciding whether the Tholatin Drive Yards should go back to being the Tholatin Republic."

He motioned for Cole to sit before turning to face Kamon, waiting for the man's opinion.

Kamon stopped looking at Cole the way he had been and smiled.

"Sorry if I looked at you kind of the wrong way. I understand you were busy. Now, I will state my opinion and some facts.

"First, I like the idea of going back to the Republic. It means more of a solid union of worlds. As for the Senate, they have less power than the New Republic senate had. T^hey don't tell us what to do."
