She looked at him, he said he was the one she had always loved and that the other only did the drab work.

But was he telling her the truth. Indeed he was, they shared something so rare and powerful even the darkside it self could not stop the two.

She sank into the embrace and wrapped her arms around his body. Slightly pulling him to sit next to her as the tide flowed in and out to the sea.

Shaking her head just after the embrace in public one thing Diete rarely if ever did. The ever so soft footsteps of her protector could be heard...

Diete's voice cut through the darkness...

"Go away Hannad, now."

No more had the words been uttered, than the Sovereign Protector left the imediate area. He knew better than to question an order from the highest authority he knew. He knew better than to question a master of the Sith. He knew well better than to question.. Diete Somir.

Diete held his wife close, watching the tide.. a moment he should well long remember.

As her belove held her close then hearing the words he spoke to the Man who vowed to protect her. Oddly and just for a moment she was almost sad to hear his footsteps fade into the background noise. But then the fact that her husband was sitting there next to her for the first time in how long. The last time was just after a take over in another system....who was there with her then, she dare not ask.

" you missed the sun rise here. The ocean turns from Black to an amazing blue in less then an hour. You missed so much of my life in the last 20 years. And you have given up so much in yours. Why are you not my protector? Why send Kile everywhere with me? Another Man with your wife? "

She understood how he would not want his wife hurt, but the best way to keep ones you love safe is to keep them with you. Or so she always thought.

She leaned in close to her beloved and watched as the rest of the sun set deep into the golden waters, then as the waters turned black and the moon hung flickering in the water. As well as high above the water. Her eyes danced as if lost on the Ocean waters.

"Kile has been reassigned. From now on, it will be you and I. I shall dress as a Guardsmen around the others. However, it will be you and I.. forever."

He rested his arm around her, watching the ocean. In his mind it meant little to him. However, it was important to her so he tried to appreciate it. He tried, but failed.

She watched him as he looked out at the Ocean...

" But the Opera tonight, its one of the best. You hate Opera...And why did you get rid of Kile? He knows me better then anyone. Not that I dont want it to be just you and I...."

She never finished the sentence.....She watched as the moon danced over the waters, she knew better then to question her husband.

"I will go to the opera with you. As far as getting rid of Kile, be happy he is still alive. I should kill him for his treasonous thoughts, and I should destroy you for defending him. However, I shall not."

She looked at her beloved oddly.

" His thoughts? And why would I not defend the man who has to try and keep me the Mistress of Trouble Alive? Hes done a damn good job of it. "

"His motives, however, were tainted. He protected you not out of service to me or his Empire but out of affection for you. His treason shall not be quickly forgotten. Perhaps I shall arrange it so that he faces Jax in the next squall. That would be a fitting punishment, and a sure sentence of death."

Athena wondered if her beloved knew that Kile had gotten better while under the none watched eyes of her beloved. She knew nothing of the affection, she needed it not.... She was married and happily.

" Hes good dear, maybe better then Jax. "

"The day he beats Jax, is the day I hand my Empire over to him."

The Sith Master grinned sinisterly. He knew exactly what Jax would do to the poor boy. He did still, however, entertain the idea fully. It would certainly be both interesting and a fitting end for a traitor.
