I looked Cat up and down, and I knew that she really did mean well, and had it been me in control of things; full control, I would have gone with her in a second. I would have left this stupid planet with her and gone to see Kamon, and made things right. But I couldn't do anything of the sort, Jerec was in control. Jace Solo didn't exist anymore, now all it was was Jerec in my body.

"You're a sweet little kitty, Cat, but I'll be frank with you I am not going anywhere. If you'd like to speak to me, we can talk here, or we can not talk at all. It is up to you."

At that second, Jacen came into the picture, and delivered his ultimatum to the young woman. It was a rough one, but I knew it had to be done. I turned my eyes to Cat, waiting and then turned towards the Valley and hoisted my backpack on.

"We are heading out, she can decide on the way. Come or stay."

Kill her! Kill her now!

No, I will not! I will not!

Oh, but you will!

Kamon followed along and jumped into the pilots seat. FIring the ship up, he was just in time to see Freefall hobble into the the veesel. He received clearance and they took off, hjetting into the atmosphere and then through it into space. Once they were far enough out they jumped.

"I was hoping you would make, it Freefall."

Young Solo is in peril. I had to come.

"Jace will likely die soon. Either by my hand or his own. If I know him, this isn't him in control, it's something else."

I believe a parasite of sorts. I dunno not know what sort though.

"I agree. What do you think Kenshin?"

Cat growled and the fine hairs on the back or her neck and on her tail stood up at he's little kitty cat joke. Her eyes flashed as if they were the morning sky and a bolt of lighting had just streeked across it.

"Listen Jace or Jerec or what ever in hell you go by now I'll not stop you it is your choice. But understand this..." Cat quickly grabbed Jace's face and pulled him into a deep kiss her tail wrapping around his waist.

Cat let go after what seemed an hour and then turned and ran off only to run into Jacen, she grabbed him by the collar.
"If he dies I'll hunt you down like the little worm you are and bury you myself." Cat pushed Jacen back into the side of a tree and growled at him. She then took off in a blur of tan and black.



Cat returned to her ship, she moved through the cloaking shield. SHe walked up the ramp and into the hull, she removed her belt, the blaster and her lightsaber. Cat headed to the pilot seat and after turning the seat around she let her body fall more like crash into the soft black leather chair.

She covered her face with her hand which were still shaking. She then remove them and stared up at the ceiling of her ship.

"Gods why? Is this what I was destined to fight? My emotions? My friends? I need help If only I could but talk to someone but I can't. If I do they're come after him. Hell they'll come after him anyway. I must finish my training and my trials, then maybe I can help him." Cat turned the chair around and then taking one last look in the general direction of where she had left Jace she smiled and wiped away one last tear before she started the ship's engines. She would one day return to help him, she hoped. Before she let the ship take off she reached out to Jace or Jerec with her mind, Good bye my friend I hope to return to you. Some day.



Cat watched as the planet got smaller and smaller as she let her ship's autopilot take her away from her friends and something more.

Kenshin smiled as he turned to see Freefall hop onto the ship. He had somewhat of a soft spot for the Montradon and was glad that he decided to come. Perhaps he could help Jace through his time of need like he had helped him.

"Yes. I think so too..." He spoke quietly with a nod in agreement of their diagnosis.

However if must be something strong to control a Force adept such as Jace. Perhaps whatever it was found a weakness.

Jacen continued walking after Cat had grabbed him with a mad look on his face, Jacen looked over his right, "Yes Master....I know Master....I understand Master....you Think I am, Master?....Thank you, Master" said Jacen as if he was speaking to someone

Jacen keeped lugging his heavy pack, he brought of things: Armor, Jetpacks, blasters, and a some things that might need along they way. Jacen looked over his shoulder again, "I can also feel the power from the valley, Master....such power, its unbelieveable, Master....yes, Master, after Jace and I obtain the power of the valley the Galaxy will be ours" said Jacen with an evil grin on his face

I watched as Cat ran back into the forest, and then she was gone, leaving me with a sad Force message. Normally I would followed her, told her what was going on, but Jerec wouldn't have that. Instead, I turned on my heel, and walked after Jacen with my equipment. The Valley Of The Jedi was not too far from here, but getting in was going to be tricky.

After hours of travelling, I called a stop and set up my tent. I motioned for Jacen to do the same. We would be able to reach the Valley tomorrow morning, just after dawn, but for now we needed to rest and refuel.

"Alright, we can camp here for the night. But I have something to ask you before going to sleep. Back there, after Cat left, you were talking to someone. Now, I thought that it was you and I going for the Valley of the Jedi, right? But if that is the case, who were you talking to?"

There was something strange about Jacen as of late, something evil. Not evil like Jerec, he was just sadistic...this was an evil that was cunning, and was bent on taking over the galaxy. A stronger evil then Jerec, or Zerxes, or any Sith I knew. I watched Jacen's face, waiting for his answer. Jerec was powerful and determined...added to this cunning, smart presense...the galaxy was doomed. I tried one last thing.

Kamon!

Shut up! He'll kill us both, Solo!

Jacen pitched up his tent and sleeping bag and sstart puting the equipment he brought in oder and started to clean the armor he brought and then started cleaning the blasters he brought as well and started to clean his lightsaber

Jacen then heardJace ask him a question and Jacen looked over his shoulder and nodded and sat down and pulled one leg up to his chest, "You rememeber the story of the man who trained our Grandfather?....well he contacted me one night and made me an offer I couldn't refuse....and now I'm picking up where our Grandfather failed so many years ago...and I will not fail like he did" said Jacen

jacen heard Jace scream his Master's name and looked at him and then looked over his shoulder, "yes I agree, Master....so tell us Jerec what are you plainning?....why take over Jace?" asked Jacen

"Good."

Kamon settled back into his seat for the trip, not too particularly interested in the between planet chat. Closing his eyes he thought about the mission and if he failed. If by not bringing Jace back he failed, then all was doomed. His family would die like in his dream. He could not have that.



Kamon awaoke to the beeping of the alarm system. He looked at the timer and noticed they were five seconds to reversion. Readying his hand, he pulled back at the mark and they reverted, almost on top of Cat's vessel.

"Cat what the heck is going on?"

Cat had drifted off into a much disturbed sleep.

She was having visions left and right one had no sooner finish when another would begin. Suddenly in one vision the sound of a ship's alarm went off. cat snapped out of the sleep and realized that the alarm was coming from her ship's control.

Someone had just come out of hyperspace and was almost on top of her ship.

"God Damn it look the hell where your going. Idiot." she yelled at the other ship. But something rung out to her someone on that ship had a familiar force signature to them.

Cat opened her com links to the other ship.

"Ok Wise guy watch it next time. Now who are you?"

"You better watch your tongue girl. This is Master Vondiranach. I suggest if you are trying to leave one of MY planets you engage the hyperdrive."

He slowed the Hope down from it's extremely fast speed so they wouldn't pass too quickly. He needed to get to the planet but Cat would know what's going on.

"Now what is going on?"
