OOC:This takes place during the Return and before the TDY takeover of Edo.
IC:
Kamon sat in his secret chambers. The one filled with all of his memories. The place he only visited when something bad happened.
A new face had been added to the wall of those lost to Kamon. Those people he had cherished as friends and family that became martyr's or victims to evil.
He sat crying in the one chair in the room. His most recent loss had been one of the most painful. Ren had been Kamons friend his ally, his compatriot. Now he was lost forever. The comets at Boonaden forever claiming his soul.
He didn't know what he could do with himself. How could he bare the pain. It was too much. He would have to run from it. But running would only cause more pain.
Pain he couldnt bare right now. Tears streaked down his face as he sat looking at a hologram of his friend. His last thought before he fell to the floor unconscious were:
Why, Ren? Why?

It had been a few days since I had talked to Kamon, and I felt the need to tell him what I had found out in my adventures away. The hllway that I walked down before this one was dark, hardly lit, and was painfully clean. That was still something I needed to get used to again. I shook the thoughts away, and turned towards Kamon's secret retreat.
I closed my eyes before I knocked, and searched into the room. I felt him, though, something was wrong. He wasn't concious. I knocked loudly.
Maybe he is a sleep, I thought to myself, but even as I thought it I knew it wasn't true. It felt wrong.
I couldn't wait any longer and inserted my key into the door, causing it to snap open. I ran to were he was unconcious on the floor, and lifted him onto my knee. The door closed, and shook the Prince lightly, and then more solidly.
"Kamon? Wake up. Come on."
I searched into his mind with the Force, hoping for some kind of reaction...

Mythin got what he wanted. The feeling of someone else in his mind caused Kamon to snap awake. His eyes immediately falling on Mythin, he jumped up startled.
"You scared the daylights out of me, Jacen. What happened?"
Kamon leaned against the wall feeling slightly woozy. His head still hurt from the fall, and his mind was all cloudy.
He knew he had been thinking about Ren before he lost memory, ut thats all he remembered. He didn't remember Mythin coming in.
He sat down in the chair and drew on the Force to steady himself. He eased the pain in his head away, and looked around a little more clearly. Everything seemed ok, but the door was standing open.
Probably from jacen coming in. He thought to himself.
He would close it in a minute.

I walked over and closed the open door from when I entered, and then crossed back and sat down across from Kamon. I shook my head, and a look of confusion showed plainly on my face.
"I don't know what happened to you. I came to talk to you about something I had to ask you about Edo, and its forces, but when I knocked on the door, I felt a strange pressure on my mind telling me that something was wrong. So, you care to fill me in? Anything I should know about?"
There was a level of concern in my voice, showing something that really rang in my tone. Emotion. This was something that was becoming increasingly common in the last little while. I suppose it came with gettting used to talking and interacting with humans and other creatures again outside of assassin hits.
"I mean, I could really work better if I knew you weren't dying or something."

Kamon smiled.
"I hope I don't die anytime soon."
He sat down, his mind going back to what he had been thinking about. His thoughts again settled on Ren, but he closed them out. It wasn't good to be caught too much in the past.
"A Rogue Jedi Master by the name of Ren Janggar died a few days ago. I witnessed his ships destruction in the asteroid belt cause by passing comets at Boonaden. Ren was my best friend, and I've been having trouble bearing the loss."
A tear rolled down his cheek from the pain. He had failed himself again, and this time he didn't know if he could live through it.

I pressed my lips together as his emotions flowed not only through my senses, but through my mind to via the Force. I placed my hand onto his knee, and sent him strength through the Force, trying to ease the burden that was weighing on his mind as of late.
"I am sorry to hear that, Kamon. I hope that you can deal with the loss, and grow with it. I know those words may sound shallow and inconciderate, but you will find that the truths of the galaxy are not very conciderate to the feelings of it's members. that is what we're here for, to help you through it."
I didn't know how he would take what I said, but it was what I knew to be true. I had faced the trails of the galaxy, though I am sure the Prince had as well.

Kamon nodded in gratitude to Jace.
"Your words aren't shallow or inconsiderate. They're the plain truth and I thank you for them. Most people try and hide the truth. You don't. I like that."
He stood up from his seat.
"Accompany me to the hangar, will you? I want to go somewhere. Hapes spacifically. I want to explore the planet. I've never had the chance."
He walked out of the small building, and locked the dorr behing Jace. The two started walking toward the hangar.

I nodded, and waited as Kamon locked the door, and then we continued our trek to the Docking Bay to head to Hapes. I stood in front of the Heavy Docking Bay doors, and turned to Kam.
"Hapes is a beautiful planet, though, deadly in it's own right. Are you sure that the only reason that you want to go to Hapes is to explore the planet?"
The doors parted and we stepped inside, walking towards the ships that sat within.
"I mean, I would think that you could think of other planets to visit that weren't so...potentially threatening."

Kamon looked at the man.
"My status can get me into most places on the planet. Besides, I know the Crowned Prince, and have always wanted to explore the forests there. They always seem so full of mischief."
He walked into the hangar bay and up to a Lambda-class shuttle. It was his personal ship for now, and would serve the purpose of getting them to Hapes.
He walked up the ramp with Jace, and they took seats inside. Kamon nodded to the pilot, and the ship hummed to life. Soon enough, they were moving through the atmosphere.
Breaking through, they moved away form the planet. Its mass shadow still holding the shp back, they piloted on. The pilot made the calculations for a jump to Hapes, and they were set. When they were out of the gravity well that Tholatin cast, they jumped to hyperspace.

I smiled, and leaned back in the seat of the Lumda Class shuttle, and sighed in relief as the stars become starlines. I looked over at Kam through the corner of my eye, and smiled.
"So, care to tell me who the Crowned Prince of Hapes is? I mean, I haven't heard anything of the Hapan Royal family since Tenal Ka was in power. Did something happen to her? I hope not."
I took a breath, trying to calm the feelings rising my chest. tenal Ka had been a great friend during my training on Yavin Four, and she had thought we were more then that, but I was not ready for a relationship at the time, and in fact I still wasn't, I had other thigs to keep my mind on.
