Why do you write here?
Omneae's writing makes me want to infuse large spaces in my writing...
Oh, and suck less.

What is a traget?

Ask Matt.
Why do I write here? Because I can. It makes me feel tough. :p
TRF was the first place I ever roleplayed. And when TRF is the board you attended for rping 101, you feel that most of the other boards out there are inferior.
When I had to work my ass off for the rank of Jedi Knight here, it suddenly seemed that if someone else was a Knight at another board and wrote the same way I did as an absolute newb, I might as well be a Master. Or a god.
There's a sense of pride in being part of TRF. It's like surviving a war or some other horrible disaster. You're happy that you live and celebrate life, but not without being scarred somehow.
Heh.

I know I'm scarred whenever I look at TGC. Zing!
Signature material.
And, my Avatar rocks. Wilie Wonka 43vAR!

Kenshin is right.
TRF is like a war or some other horrible disaster.

But on the bright side, those who survive its' disastrous conditions will have gained more then those who nestle within the soft confines of simpler boards.
Admittedly, the gains would be small ones in writing ability and personality anyways, but they're still better then not improving yourself at all.

Actually, TRF sort of came into existence as a result of a war/disaster on TGC....
so Kenshin's statement really isn't that far from the truth, when you think about it. Anyone who moved from TGC to TRF and formed TRF's core member base is in fact a veteran of disaster....
