I cried when I ate some chicken...

damn.. that was good chicken.

This reminds me of the silly joke about the pig with the wooden leg.

In all seriousness though, I hear putting down a cow is pretty brutal.
poor buggers.

I don't eat meat, mainly because of something along the lines of what milkshake said. It wasn't very hard to stop, as I'd never been a big fan of meat even when I was a "meat eater".

Out of curiosity, who else here is a vegetarian (or vegan)?

Good for you, Chau, good for you.

I am not a vegetarian. Not eating meat is a huge inconvieniance and is bad for your health, if your young. Nevertheless, i really want to becoe a vegetarian... but haven't yet decided to.

My dad is a vegetarian...
he became one because of the war in iraq... because there wasnt much else he could do. Other than fly to washington and hold up signs at the white house. He is also a minister... my dad is so cool.

Now vegans, there are people who make absolutely no sence at all. What on earth are they thinking? Wierdos.

The human body is omnivorous. Meaning, we have to ingest both animal and vegetable material to survive. In fact, we digest animal protein better than we do the alternative soy protein. Our bodies are made to digest animals.

I don't care for mass killing of animals, knowing that a lot goes to waste. But we are what God made us.

True, samantha.

And anials eat other animals too... of course, they need to in order to survive, and we can do fine without it.

Its kind of weird that we are omnivorious, when the killing and eating of animals can trouble us so...
