I dunno... I bought Homeworld and I hated trying to figure out how to control the damn ships.

This new game looks like they take a page from Homeworld.

In any event, I will be purchasing it and I think my computer can run it even if it is inferior to Beff's.

Eh? Homeworld was easy. I'd be suprised if it took me more than 15 minutes to beat a hard enemy or two in skirmish mode.

Though from the looks of some of the screenshots it appears they've screwed up the timelines some, if that is a Venator class Destroyer serving with the Rebel Alliance.

I have homeworld 2, and I like it. Long games though.

Single-player of Homeworld 2 is one of the most challenging campaigns in Computer Gaming History.

But yes, I feel we shall have to have a nice big game with we TRFers when Empire at War comes out. I'll be sure to unleash... something.

Single player demo of Empire at War dropped in today. I'm downloading it now, let you know how it looks. Or, if you feel like taking the trouble to download it yourself, go for it. I usually use Filefront, which I'm using now.
