And right there on the front page, I saw this:
Where do I begin? This past week has knocked me for a loop. "Fahrenheit 9/11," the #1 movie in the country, the largest grossing documentary ever. My head is spinning. Didn't we just lose our distributor 8 weeks ago? Did Karl Rove really fail to stop this? Is Bush packing?

No, Mr. Moore, you did not just loose your distributor eight weeks ago, you lost it fifty-six weeks ago, and you admitted to knowing this on cnn.

You know how sometimes you just lose track of how much time has passed between events in your life? Moore could be referring to that feeling; feeling like it was only 8 weeks ago Disney dumped him and now he's the director of a top documentary.

I think that perhaps - just perhaps - thats' bull Kas. To quote Moore himself on this issue: "Sure of COURSE we were told ages ago that Disney won't let us distribute the movie, that's why they kept sending us money to make it." Note the sarcasm at key points.

... right.

Moore told CNN that Disney had "signed a contract to distribute this [film]" but got cold feet. But Disney executives insists there was never any contract. And a source close to Miramax said that the only deal there was for financing, not for distribution.
Both Disney and Miramax say no deal for distrobution, just financing.

"Sure of COURSE we were told ages ago that Disney won't let us distribute the movie, that's why they kept sending us money to make it."
Then why say on CNN that you were told a year ago that there would be no distrobution?
