Oh yeah, and IQ tests don't mean squat. Go read Mismeasure of Man by Gould. You might actually learn something.

It sounds like a lot of work for nothing...

...but I've been meaning to write another novel anyway, so I might do it.

I'm doing it mainly because it forces you to write, so maybe I can get over this creative rut that I have been in for the last... year... or something.

Excellent idea, Vega. A good way to get out of that indeed. And I wouldn't put that past you, Vance. I'm surprised you didn't get caught, lol.

But Vega, you want to get out of your creative rut, just hang around with Irtar. You'll have to get creative or his uncanniness would get you killed :P

And I find it hard to write a 3-page paper every two weeks for english. Man.

Their approach seems like it would work though, if you could get excited about it.

I intend to do this. Pretty much for the same reasons as Vegs, to reestablish my love of binge writing. Yes I remember, back in the day, when the 6-day minimum for planetary takeovers hadn't yet been established and we'd go on weekend-long marathons that turned out PTs twice as long as the word count required.

Or maybe that was just me..


Oh well. My other logic for this is that I tend to be at my most creative when under an insane amount of stress, as I think we all are. And University Entrance exams are in November. Huzzah!

I remember the weekend binges, but i would always just edit the first post, add like another 1000 words and take two planets cause i was cheap and wanted lots of planets. Now I find it hard to get a single post up in 5 days. (they're coming Telcrot, Slaskia and Kalshion, don't worry).
