I'm glad to see that Hyperion made it within the "Top 10", but you're missing the three other masterpieces of the Hyperion Cantos, not to mention Ilion and Olympos.

You also don't have any Steven Pressfield. That is just plain fucking loony.
This list was published in Inquest #35, which means it was published in early 1998. Ilion and Olympos hadn't been published yet. Also, as far as I'm aware, the only novel that Pressfield had published at that point was The Legend of Bagger Vance.

And Beff, Snow Crash made the list at 96.

For a list encompassing basically all speculative fiction that was compiled by a bunch of guys just sitting around arguing in favor of their favorite books, it's not bad, but it's not perfect.

Having read the mars trilogy over again I really think it should have rated higher than what it did...
