Demo; t'was an '88.

I've done big steel, American muscle. I've done tiny and Japanese (Tiburon/Impreza). Now, it's about being practical and tiny...

The Fit is nice, but the Federal kickback isn't approved yet, big motivation for sale there. And yeah, the Mazda2 is a sweet lil ride, but y'know, availability counts for a lot.

It's fucking Hideous.

Behold the awesome power of my '87 diesel Benz
Those will not die ever. They will live on after the apocalypse, driven by the new giant roaches who will take our places.

I think the Yaris is ugly, but it is a great little car. Did you get it with the auto or the manual?

I myself just made the switch from a f-150 to my '07 Camry. Much better, better features, smooth ride, great gas mileage, and to my surprise has a little bit under the hood too.
Yeah, it's got about 270HP, of course it's going to get up and go. Its Toyota, though, so it has the MOST FUCKING ANNOYING ELECTRONIC NANNYING. Sorry, I tried to drive some of the newer Lexus cars, and fuck Toyota.

I'm partial to my little white '89 Trans Am.
Unfortunately the 5 speeds in the third gen were shit. I'd love to get one and do an LS1/T56 swap, but thats kinda far down on my long list of insane ideas. Not a fan of solid axels or straight roads.

I drive a 99 Mazda Miata MX-5(daily) and an 89 Nissan 240SX (racing). I'm more than a little biased toward light rear drive cars with good suspension setups.

I currently drive a 95' Ford Taurus, but it's time for a new car this year. I am probably going to get a Mazda6.

Mazda is offering pretty heavy discounts on the Speed6. I'd look into it if you can swing it. Also, look at the Subaru Legacy. They're fantastic.

I personally lust after a WRX, too bad the insurance is awful, especially here in Miami.

What like the seatbelt ring? It doesn't really bother me since its a state law here and I wear because I've been ticketed for not doing so twice already.

No, I don't care about that. I hate the traction control system so much. Want to rotate the car around a corner with the throttle? BEEEEEEEEPP! Understeer. It is a shame because the IS300 was a great car, and the new IS cars are pathetic. May as well be front drive.

The Yaris is a very unusually shaped car, I agree. But it's a stellar package for the price.

Did you get it with the auto or the manual?

Stick.

I will own a WRX one day. I drove one last summer and the thing is fucking incredible. That was an 02 model with the 2.0L, now that they've gone to the 2.5 in the WRX it must be stellar...

So yeah. :)

RE: Miata. I'm considering an NA when I get home for the summer. The allure of top-down driving is getting to me... the other option at this point is the 94 Mustang V6, but I think the Mazda is a better package for me. I like the small/light more so than the American muscle...

Incidentally, the others in the running right now are the 240SX (with the JDM turbo swapped in), and the Mazda RX-7 (but the rotary still scares the shit out of me).

At any rate, sounds like we share a like interest in cars. Which leads me to: marry me? :D

Worked for Subaru here. Left before the STI was made part of the North American line. For me though, long and away, I've had a hard on for the SVX and dream of driving one with a manual tranny.

Pow!
