If I were an American and someone wanted me to give them a ride to the polling station to vote for Bush, I'd go get the car.

And run them over.

Again and again.

And then go and get their family too.

Well the reason I asked, was because someone on Fans was saying how he took some elderly folks to the polls with him so that they could vote, and a fellow Democrat told him that he'd never drive a Republican to the polls even if said person had no other way of getting there.

Frankly, I don't care if you're a Democrat or a Republican. It's that sort of attitude that disgusts me to no end, because just as you said, Demo, that is a clearcut case of denying someone their right to vote.

I simply wanted to know who else would even think to do such a thing.

We had a big senior turn out here, lots of people hauling seniors in busses. A few judges even went to someone's house, so he could vote.

heh... See the passions rise, in fact I was trawling through TGC last night just taking a look at some of the topics there, man this election has people really divided.

In Britain, the next election will not be anywhere near as close as what you guys had in the US, Labour should win again , comfortably, (theres just no other realistic leader atm).

The only thing which might come close to dividing people over here, is when we have all have to vote in a referundum on the new European constitution , (which I can't see passing over here to be honest).

Pro-euros vs Pro-UK-independence.

An important vote for us.
