Latest Forecast Track has it hitting near Palm Beach, heading up through Orlando with 130 mph winds (with all those subrubs and theme parks, imagine the damage!), and then curving to the north, and in a couple of days being over about Macon Georgia as a Tropical Depression. It's supposed to slow down a lot near when it hits land. Were expecting rain fall totals of about 8-10" during the storm, if not more. Jebby has declared a state of emergency for the state, and all the counties emergency operations centers are coming online once again.

Tomorrow night the fun should begin. If not tomorrow evening. And guess what? The latest forecast track brings it right over both Orlando, and MY city as a hurricane! YIPPIE!!! It's supposed to enter near Port St. Lucie, cruise south of Orlando (which, considering the worst weather is on the north side, means that Orlando will get it), and then cruise up and over Lakeland, where I live. The eye is supposed to got just south of us, which means we get the worst weather. YEE-HAW!!!
But seriously, although these tracks are never precise of course, looks like Orlando, and Lakeland are going to get it bad.

Shouldn't you be hoping that it doesn't end up going your way...
...be careful what you wish for Kracken.
It does look like a monster.

A little situation update. We have had several squalls come through with wind gusts up to Tropical Storm force. We have seen a lot of video footage from various news crews across the central portion of the state. Roofs are being blown off mobile homes, trees are being blown down, transformers are blowing up. Currently two million people are without power, and some of the news crews in the worst areas are out of touch. One of the local station reporters was doing a live broadcast when a roof from a buisness blew onto their satellite truck, and suv, crushing both vehicles.

on the weather channel I saw this guy trying to get a multi mullion dollar yacht secured to a dock. The yacht was bucking so hard that it snapped off one of the dock posts. After like a hour the guy managed to get the yacht secured to the dock, but when he returns to it after the storm, he'll just find that it was beaten all to hell. Boats like that are better off if you take them out to sea *before* the storm arrives.... otherwise they'll just get beaten against the dock to death.

Yeah we had some footage of about a 20 footer clipper getting beat to death in West Palm Beach, and other shots of boats being blown into mangroves, or on shore.
Were about to get the strongest winds (90 mph sustained, gusts 100+) within the next half hour or so as the storm is to our south east and moving west north west at a very slow rate of speed. We have tons of small and medium branches littering our yards, and a lot of people now on both the east and west coasts are without power.
What sucks is that the gulf stream on the east coast is still fueling some of the feeder bands, so some areas over there are still getting sustained winds of about 100 mph or so, and have been since about 6 pm yesterday.
