Actually, that's another Tropical System your thinking of Damalis. Tropical Depression something something. Forecast to hit near Myrtle Beach this weekend. It's the group of storms just east of Savannah.

It's pretty neat how the images update themselves isn't it? It's now a Category 4 Hurricane with 135 mph winds, and is forecast to make an almost straight beeline for the miami homestead area.

Actually, nothing happens in Virginia. We get a little snow, a little rain, no earthquakes, no riots. Our only problem is the occasional terrorist/sniper/anthrax attacks.

lol, Tropical Storm Gaston, the storm that refuses to die. That storm hit South Carolina about a day ago, weakened into a Tropical Depression, moved over North Carolina and Virginia, and now has exited into the Cheseapeke Bay and has reintensified into a Tropical Storm. Now headed for Delaware.

Tropical Storm Hermoine has almost died. It is expected to rapidly weaken after it hits the eastern edge of Massachusettes, and then shoots off to the Northeast.

Hurricane Frances is either weakening or strengthing as indicated in recent satellite photos. Oddly enough the 11pm advisory hasn't been issued yet.

Good God, Frances is huge now. The storm is at least several hundred miles from top to bottom.

This is a water vapour image.
