Oh, and I forgot to mention 2 of the coolest new additions to the game imo. The waypoint system is very cool, especially in a city this size. And also the taxi system, being able to hail a taxi anywhere and have it take you to your destination anywhere in the city in a matter of seconds is very useful and time-saving.
GTA IV
Wow, I don't know what city you come from that getting run over by cops is a sign of realism. ;)
Hehe.
It is a fun game, indeed. Also, perhaps we should update some of those Xbox Live handles - just so we can all connect and get some gaming in together. I might start a thread that can track the information, without becoming lost mid-threads around games in general.

OMG ROFLOLOLOMAO UR SO FUNNNY IRTARD!
And I don't know what city you're from where you can run right into the middle of the street and never have to worry about getting run over.
Best.Game.Ever.
Hah!
Thoughts:
The best GTA yet? Mos Def!
Each GTA has been better then the last. And with each version I find myself awed and asking, "What could they possibly do to make it better next time?" Invariably, however; each successive release is a much marked improvement on its predecessor. Rockstar made its name with GTA.
Camera - What a trip! I really like the options this issue of GTA provides. From close in trailing camera, to zoomed in right above the car plus a hoods-up view and an over-head camera that hearkens back to the original GTA (and GTA 2) for PC.
Crash physics galore! From launching yourself through the windscreen at high speeds to vaulting yourself hundreds of feet in the air due explosive physics, the things you can do to your body are amazing. Additionally, I actually like that it hurts when you bail out of a car at speed.
The AI, in all aspects, is much improved as is the world immersion. This is easily the most realistic GTA yet and I have to say, though some features have been removed from the last games, I much prefer the game style of Four. I was never much a fan of the statistics, the body physics. If I jump on a motorcycle I don't want to have to worry about my riding rank when it comes to evading the cops, nor do I want to worry about how fat, slim or built I get from running around, eating and/or working out. Even the myriad host of vehicles I can do without - these all seem as a fair trade off for the enhanced realism that GTA 4 brings. And that itself is a testament to the success of this game - that even with excluding elements from previous versions it should be such a joy to play.
MULTIPLAYER! Yes, Finally! GTA Online! There aren't enough words to say how much I love the functionality of Multiplayer.
And stuff. I'll think of more.
I have always been a fan of the GTA games and this latest release continues that trend. In my estimation the best games I have played for 360 are Call of Duty 4, Assassins Creed and now GTA 4.

Agreed with the best games; and, not to forget, Oblivion (try it, it's really fun too!).
I like how the world in GTA seems alive, in the respect that there's always something going on in the background with any number of bystanders. I mean, driving around once for the heck of it, I saw a multitude of varying scenes - ranging from a car chase with cops, to an ambulance driver rushing about, to a driver who had broken down and was checking under the hood of his car on the side of the road...
It's amazing, just the level of everyday detail that's been added. And I say that is what makes it great (one of the many aspects) - the everyday, normal and bland, yet noticeable stuff we see in the game, that we see in our lives.
Have you tried the high beam, Beff? Isn't that just the icing on the cake? Hehe.

one of my favorite things to do? jump out of helicopters from over liberty and watch me bounce in between buildings because you dont just die when you jump out, you dont go black and white screen until you hit the ground and usually if done right you bounce around a few times.
fun.
i'm at 54% complete... what about everyone else?

Lovely. I have no idea what I'm at, as I haven't really been paying much attention... I'll check at some point tonight, but I don't suspect I'm very far into the whole thing.
